This is not a journey campground, the price is to stay is to high, the sites are narrow and close together, the flys are horrible due to the dumpsters and horse correl near the campsites. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Just one night stay very expensive for the captured market. The flys from the horses took over my RV hard to enjoy the views when outside. My first my last.

Very basic park with gravel surface. Bathrooms are clean but there was only 1of 3 washing machines and 2 of 3 dryers worked. The staff should fill in holes at the driveway transition from the roadway on the gravel entrance.

Level sites, good power and water, connections are reasonably placed, traffic noise is minimal, sites are stunning, the only big issues are the flies, very bad during our stay. The drought and other conditions create the issue. you can catch a tour or go horseback riding from the campground

The flies are terrible. They swarm around and on the vehicles and tables. You can’t sit outside and every time you open your door, multiple flies get in your camper. There is a horse pasture around the campground which results in flies. The sites are very sandy. Rock is abundant in these parts. The sights could be built up with more rock so we don’t track so much sand into the campers.

The Flys were terrible! Could barely sit outside. Motorhome full of flies!! Overflowing garbage (Wed. 9/24) and horses next to the RV park couldn't have helped. Pull thru spot were very short for Class a Motorhomes leaving no room for towed vehicles even to park after being unhooked. Hookups for sewer were not located well for Class A motorhomes. Beautiful views. Level gravel lots.

Beautiful mountains surrounding camp. The gentleman running the camp was very friendly and helpful. This is a good place to stay for a day between travel.

Nice flat spaces. There are small trees but they won't provide much shade for a few more years. The location is close to everything. The back-in sites have the best view with picnic tables between your rig and the road giving an amazing view while you eat. There is laundry on site but not all machines were working.

Enjoyed the beautiful views to the east of KOA, restroom area very clean, usually easy to access and exit, and staff always friendly and helpful. Only negative we experienced was sometimes an excessive number of flies when we were sitting outside. May be due to nearby horse ride facilities.

KOA Monument Valley lets down the KOA brand. It is the worst KOA we have stayed at. The sites are too close to each other. Management has underinvested in WI-FI so the WI-FI is totally inadequate. We were six sites from the office and the WI-FI did not work. The receptionist blamed other guests for streaming too much. No! You have not paid enough. We were plagued by flies from the garbage

The views are amazing and the woman checking us in was very pleasant and helpful. Bathrooms are very clean and spacious. Sites are a little close together but it has full hook ups. Was nice to have jeep real on site as well as horses Only complaint was the flies were bad

Great views from the campground and everything else went well. The self registration was a bit different to just pull in and park in your spot but easy for us. The showers and bathroom area were great after a long day hiking and visiting the sights in the area.

Wonderful views and location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only down side were the numerous flies. Also, if you are going to use the availability of wi-fi as a selling point, then make sure that your wi-fi is somewhat useable. During my two night stay, it was worthless. Ultimately, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Best advice, bring a good fly swatter and enjoy!

beautiful, safe, relaxing. We even lost a set of keys to our trailer. Woke up the next morning and found them inserted in our door key latch. If you want to live life away from the BS and have no worries; were people care for each other and not know each other. A KOA is the place to be. The way I think God intended and looks down with a smile.

The campground is very basic, but what do you want in the middle of Monument Valley? The views from the campground are great. Sunrise and sunset's were very beautiful. Will stay here again when we visit MV again!

Great location. The campground was full but quiet. There bathrooms were clean but needed some maintenance. Doors didn’t latch. Showerhead holders were broken. Soap dispensers were empty. It was clean though.

We had a nice place dor our RV at the south side of the campsite with wonderfull view at the Valley . Restroom and shower clean and good. Full hook-up was also OK.

This is up there with my favorite KOAs. The most beautiful views of the valley all around and a lovely facility. Horse tours on site and I recommend taking one. Magical. Thanks to all staff who were great.

Stay was good. Nice location close to Monument Valley. Within a mile from KOA we ate at a nice restaurant at the motel and food was good. Visited The trading post with donations only. Very interesting. Car wash to wash our vehicle and get red clay off. Even in same location there was a laundry we got to get all stocked back up with clean clothes.

The location is perfect for visiting Monument Valley! The views of the desert and rock formations, as well as the night sky are spectacular from the campground. The manager in the office is a pleasure to chat with and was very helpful when I had a moment with an uncooperative washing machine. She was friendly and accomodating. We would stay here again!

This campground is in a very convenient location if you plan on going to Monument Valley. It has the least amount of amenities of any KOA I have camped. I spent 3 weeks out west this summer and paid the most for this campground. On the plus side, the view is great and the sites are level.

Great experience at the KOA Campground in Monument Valley. Clean bathrooms, full hookups, and a great location. They also have Jeeps available to rent for off-road tours through Monument Valley, plus horseback riding experiences right at the campground. The staff at check-in and in the store were very helpful and friendly.
