A perfectly situated location for incredible views of the monuments!! Staff who checked us in was personable and knowledgeable about the activities in the area. She took time to explain the different tours available, and gave us a map of the area with the main attractions highlighted. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. We’re recommending this KOA to all our friends and relatives.

We left one day early because of the conditions of the park. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and we needed a connection.

Excellent location in Monument valley area. Campground was pretty basic. Showers were nice but not much for hot water. Wi-Fi was nonexistent, tried for 2 day and was never able to link up.

It's a simple KOA. Excellent for one night, but I wouldn't stay here any longer. I would then prefer Goulding

All dirt. No pad. Not really family friendly. Flies are bothersome. Not sure if this a new KOA or not. Not what we are accustomed to. However, beautiful place to see a magnificent sunset and scenery with all the red rock formations.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Dark Nation area KOA. Awesome star gazing at night! Nice amenities, clean showers. Only downfall was seeing the malnourished (ribs, hip bones prominently showing) horses next door.

The office staff is exceptional! Friendly and helpful. Laundry was not clean and a couple of machines were broken. Sites are nice but need more gravel to prevent dust and to make more level.

Perfect location in Monument Valley. Beautiful views from the campground. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers were working, and there were lines to use them. The management was very accomodating when we found it too hot to stay two nights. We appreciated that very much.

This KOA is located in a GREAT location to explore the surrounding area. We could watch sunrises and sunsets from the campground with the beautiful rock forms in the background. Buy groceries before you come as there is substantial drive to the town. Doesn’t have the normal KOA amenities but it was great for our purposes.

Monument Valley KOA is by far the best campground. Views are spectacular with gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Amazing star gazing, milky way across entire sky. Clean, easy access, and full hook ups. Kind people. The stillness and gentle desert wind was lovely. A great sanctuary to for tired travelers to rest, and experience full immersion into monument valley. A must. Excellent location.

Very relaxing. Seems to be in the middle of nowhere but every where you go is another great view. The store could be bigger ( and probably will be as word gets out about this place.) They have an awesome dog park.

What can I say!!! Right in the middle of Monument Valley, surrounds by great rock formations! There are tours of Monument Valley and jeep rentals so that we could have made our own way around. Next time we come, we will plan more time here!!

Nice clean park. Beautiful sights from your rv. Employees were very friendly. The Valley of the God's are just a short drive away. It was an awesome experience. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area

Nice level spaces easily accessed utilities. We appreciated that trees have been planted and maintained. the little store was functional and jeep rentals, jeep tours and horseback riding were offered. Facilities were well maintained. The scenery in the distance cannot be beat!

Out of all the KOA campgrounds I stayed at so far this one is disappointing. I came in late so I couldn't really see beyond my site very well. The sound of passing vehicles was so loud that it kept waking me up. Once the sun came up I found that my site backed up to the highway, there was no barrier between me and the hey and the road was only a few feet away. Won't be coming back there.

Paid for a pull thru, had to back in. This was due to the angle of the road. We're told it was 75' long, no way. Unless we blocked the exit road. Definitely not worth $100 !!! Disappointing.

Great KOA out in the middle of nowhere! It was quiet and sites were level. Close to the valley. Be sure you prepare to have everything you need for your stay because the closest town is 30 miles away.

A fantastic place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The over shadowing concern and the reason for the lower rating is, the flies! This is something that can be controlled. You have to keep the dumpsters empty and/or away from the campsites. The flies were horrendous and the origin was from the overflowing trash dumpsters, one row and one spot over from our coach!

Great experience at the KOA Campground in Monument Valley. Clean bathrooms, full hookups, and a great location. They also have Jeeps available to rent for off-road tours through Monument Valley, plus horseback riding experiences right at the campground. The staff at check-in and in the store were very helpful and friendly.
