Very pleasant 4 nights in city in which we lived 40 years ago. Office personnel were very accommodating and physical plant has been nicely updated since our last visit.

We were there for two days, enjoyed the experience the staff was helpful and the facilities were well takes care of. I do have one question where did you get the war birds that were on the poles around the facilities? Thanks for the experience. We were on our 45th wedding anniversary redoing our honeymoon. Thank you.

The ladies who you check in with were not very friendly as they have been in the past years that we have stayed at Black Canyon National Park. Our group had 4 campsites and they were rather rude to one of the campers in our group at check in. We all have stayed at your park over the past years and are considering finding a different park to stay at in Montrose for our annual trip next year.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The lady who checked me in, helped me find a car wash that would work for my rv.

Well maintained shady and grassy areas. Mostly clean restrooms and laundry area. Putting shelves in the ladies showers might keep everyone from using the ADA shower with the chair in it, which causes that drain to clog up more quickly and have standing water.

Tent sites were not as advertised and low quality due to location. Changed to tv sites for the night. During the night there were two cars repeatedly coming back and forth looking suspicious like a drug dealer and my husband and I were concerned and stayed up most of the night only to watch these individuals return twice and stayed right outside our tv sites more than 10

Prior to arrival, KOA website stated that there was only one site available for only 3 nights. After arriving I found that there were plenty if sites for however king you like. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 6 nights. Site was fune but I had to disconnect my toad and park it sideways to fit it on my site. Other than that, our stay was great. We stayed in a 43' class A motorhome.

Great campground! Nice shade, very clean. Staff was very helpful. Friends stayed in the cottage. Staff called after we had checked out to see if we had left something in the unit. It wasn’t us, but I was impressed with their effort!

Sites were not very level, the pool was closed for “deep cleaning” the several days we were there, though we were told that it would be open the day after we got in. As we were leaving the last day some guy in a floppy hat was fishing around in the supply cabinet, so I assume the “deep cleaning” was imminent. I will say it was pretty quiet.

The park was quiet and clean with each site having shade. The dog walk was mowed down nicely and clean. The pet run area had mulch covering all the ground therefore there were a lot of gnats attracted to the mulch. The pool was clean and warm.

My two daughters (10&7) absolutely loved this campground. The animals were such a hit, they did not disappoint. Very friendly and helpful and would come back again for sure next time we pass through.

Great location, friendly staff, nice, level sites. Appreciated the pool, laundry, and clean restrooms with showers. Great to have cable tv! Thanks for a nice stay.

Clean. New bath facilities. 2 inoperative washers could have been a problem but were not. The only issue I really had was the placement and design of the electrical connection where the plug needed a bungee cord to hold it.

We had a great stay at the Montrose KOA. The only gripe I have is that there aren't enough washers and dryers. The internet was actually great and I was able to catch up on things needing wifi. This was a good home base for exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the Million Dollar Highway.

Kim in Office very helpful recommending Urgent Medical Care. Need more washing machines that work. Close to downtown for convenience. Back of RV area needs clean up around permanent dwellings. I would stay again Big shade trees.

The park is very nice. The management is very customer service oriented. If you have a satellite dish, be aware that it can not be used at some sites.

Nice place w great shade trees. We enjoyed the pool. The camp cat who walked around was very sweet. I would rate it higher if it had a perimeter fence. Tent sites also seemed to be a bit of an afterthought.

For the most part the park was great. The biggest reason that I stayed there was the availability of WiFi. The WiFi capabilities were less than optimal. An access point was just outside of my trailer, but wasn’t working or was working in a very low power mode. Connection to the WiFi usually occurred, but access to the internet wasn’t available or was very, very, very slow.

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
