Nice campground. The pull through sites were a little short to keep our towed vehicle attached during our stay. The location is convenient to downtown Montrose with a good selection of restaurants.

The pull through sites were not long enough for my 40' MH and Jeep to remain attached. Had to disconnect the Jeep and park it at an angle behind our coach at our site. What's the point of a pull through site if you can't leave your vehicles connected. None of the cable TV channels came in clearly. All were fuzzy and full of static lines. However, the internet speed was fantastic!

We stayed here to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Nice level gravel sites, grass and some tree separation between sites. Very nice pool and hot tub that we didn’t use. Close to grocery stores and pizza/ice cream nearby.

Nice folks at check-in. Pretty level, shaded site. Usable cable really appreciated! Showers were clean, but pool was cloudy and needed attention. Quiet during night. Would stay again.

Clean and nice bathrooms and laundry. Nice long, wide sites. Near National Park and Montrose. Landscaping and the dog park could use a little work. Get rid of the junk stored along the back perimeter of the park.

We were accommodated well for a shady spot after spending two Sun soaked days in Moab. Sites are nicely spaced apart. Larry was very helpful in welcoming us. Two improvements to suggest: this campground needs a fenced dog area rather than the designated patch of vegetation along a canal for dogs. Also, larger or more trash receptacles as they were overflowing at the time of our visit.

Our grandchildren loved playing on the playground and the pool. They met nice kids there. Our campsite was adequate and appreciate the work they put into the park. Proximity to town was good. Thank you, KOA Montrose!

Big sites, some are shaded, clean bathrooms. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Plus close to Black Canyon NP

Park looks nice when you pull in, and rest rooms and laundry are kept up. But the park deteriorates the further in you go. Piles of trash. The walkway to the dog park is lined with junk. The dog park is pretty disgusting. Most of the RVers that had dogs refused to use it and just walked their dogs around the park. Even the staff recommended reporting the poor condition at the park.

Camp sites were tight, water pressure was very low, sometimes very low during peak times. Employees were very nice. Inside the city limits, but once there very quiet and peaceful. Heated pool and hot tub. Ice is available.

I like your campground but don't like the showers. When you shower because of the way the water drains and all the showers are right next to each other, you could be standing in someone else's shower water when you shower! Ick!!

I had reservations made in March, we get there and our site was taken and we had to have a crappy one right next to the main office. Then they charged me for propane fill up for the site we were supposed to have.

Our stay was great! Staff was friendly and kept everything so clean. WiFi worked great. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the back part of the campground was junky, but it appeared that they were making attempts to clean it.

Dud not care for the site we were assigned, spent 1st night hooked up and requested to be moved the next morning. We were told they were full but would see what they could do. 1/2 hour latter-host came to us to show us another camp site. Was VERRY pleased that they were so accommodating. Thank you,

Very nice campground, a lot of tall weeds that could use some maintenance and the dog run is overgrown but all in all a nice place to stay! Very quite except for the loud party outside the campground to no fault of the KOA. We will be back if in the area!

The amazing owners of this park saved our butts and got us a spot after hours when we were in a jam. 9 hours of driving and highway 50 was closed heading toward Gunnison, closes fully at 7:30pm and we rolled through about 8:30. Went back to montrose knowing all the rv parks were closed but we caught the husband on his golf cart and he had his wife help us get their last spot for the night. THANKS!

It was a perfect stay! Quiet. Clean. And nice shower house my husband said. I like using my own in my camper but he uses the shower house. Again a Perfect stay! Would stay again if in the area.

The grass in most sites was knee-deep our first 11 days. Most gravel sites were covered in weeds even after they mowed grass the last few days of our stay. There was a full roll-off dumpster next to the owner's unmowed yard. Kamp K9 is poorly maintained and next to trash piles, including old mattresses, box springs, and 4 dilapidated vehicles. A long-term tenant's site was filled with garbage.

We had a FHU site right near the playground where the kids enjoyed playing. We had a large space and some shade, which was nice. Pool was pleasant but could have been a bit cleaner. Overall we were very happy with our stay (total for 3 nights)

Very nice, well cared for campground. Bathroom were clean and the campground was very quiet at night. Very little traffic noise. The staff was great. Very friendly and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay.

Friendly check-in, well-maintained parking spots, clean bathrooms. The location in Montrose, an easy 20 minute drive to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, was perfect for us.

Great campground, conveniently located. You wouldn't even know that you're right in the middle of town once you get there. Bathrooms are large and super clean.

Great location in Montrose. Walking distance to many restaurants. Centrally located to other cities and parks nearby. Staff was very friendly and facilities were clean. It will be my top pick next time I am in Colorado.
