Showers were new and excellent. Grounds were clean and tidy. Stayed in a cabin, the queen mattress was compressed like a pancake. No cushion at all.

The location was perfect for visiting BCGNP. Our cabin was comfortable with much appreciated AC on a hot day. The bathrooms were clean and well-appointed. Mixed feelings about having lock codes on the bathroom doors, but it does lend to a feeling of security when the campground is in town. Felt a little crowded with the proximity of other cabins and RVs, but a pleasant stay overall.

Just one suggestion on the cabins. It would have been handy to have the mirror located near a plug in for drying hair. The mirror was in one place and the plug in was 5 feet away with a door in between.

Reserved full-kitchen cabin + cabin w/toilet. Toilet only cabin, air cond. didn't work. Full-kitch. cabin: mouse turds in silverware drawer, grill very dirty, reserved for 6 but only 2 chairs and small table to have meals, not enough dishes, bowls, and coffee cups (1 in cabinet) for 4 people. Beds were comfy. Nice pull-out couch and chair in sitting area. Nice pool. Free parking by cabins.

Great location when visiting Black Canyon National Park. Stayed in "The Lodge" cabin. Our A/C wasn't working but maintenance came out and installed a window unit that cooled the place off great. We were glad we only had one hot night sleep. It was 98 degrees while we were there. The pool was a great way to cool off. Saw a movie at the local drive in theater. Great stay. Def will come again

Rented one rustic cabin and one efficiency cabin. Everyone was so happy with the accommodations. The pool was nice, cold and refreshing; the bathroom/shower areas were immaculate! The grounds had plenty of trees. All pets were welcome! Great facility and would come back/recommend to others! Thank you!

The campsite was next to a sketchy part of town. The pool closed because the manager said there were storms in the area, even though it was sunny. There was an AC unit in our cabin, which gave some relief, but it was old and run down. Overall pretty disappointing for a KOA

Cabins were okay, but hot when we arrived as the a/c had not been turned on for our arrival. Bathroom situation is a very different setup than other KOAs where there are larger communal bathrooms and a couple individual bathrooms. This made it very crowded and uncomfortable in the restrooms. Trash had not been picked up prior to the weekend and was overflowing and stunk horribly.

The office staff was not very friendly or helpful. It seems they didn't know the area well. We booked the deluxe cabin for 4, but we only had bed linens for three and bath towels for 2. The outdoor bathroom/showers were very clean, however.

Cabin was tiny and made tinier by putting bunk beds in the unit. Had there been just a full or queen size bed in the middle of the room—or even two twin beds on either side—the cabin wood have been much roomier. Also, you should add a small refrigerator to each cabin.

Stayed in a cabin and it was poor. Disappointed that we needed to pay extra for linens and towels. The queen bed was awful - sagged in the middle - slept poorly. The lid on the toilet seat was broken. The TV was undersized for the size of the room. Not typical of the KOA experience we have had previously. The town was charming. Having a camper would have been a better experience.

No owner hosts so just.managers and desk attendants. Not well informed of locations for groceries, restaurants, dog parks, etc. Bathrooms clean and very new. Nice pool. Awful Kanine Kamp space.. very small and just a nasty area. Pet walk nasty by a stagnant ditch! Clean area and cabins. Packed with RVs. Walking distance to downtown area.

The surrounding area was very dangerous. AC made a big noise and could not sleep. The receptionist (old lady) was very unkind.

Just an overnight. First time in cabins. Everything as expected. Have been past 2 consecutive years. Ist in our tent, 2nd in rv. Love your facility and highly recommend to anyone traveling thro the area.

The accommodations were fine for the nightly rate, the restroom/shower was very nice. The staff was very nice & friendly. My only gripe was the cleaning crew left a bag of garbage, a couple dirty plates and a hat on the porch. There was also an empty plastic bottle under the bed which makes me question the thoroughness of their cleaning process.

The rest rooms where great but the bunk house we stayed in was out dated terrible furniture and the bed was like a marshmallow!!! Would not recommend the bunk house to anyone.

the cabin was filthy tried to clean it but I was overwhelmed. We left and stayed at a hotel. Microwave had food top and bottom and underneath. Floors, bathroom nothing in there was ever cleaned and we had to wait cause it was being cleaned. Manager partially returned our money. We should have gotten it all back. This cabin needs updating now. Bathroom was a hot mess.

We love this KOA but just a few things about the “lodge”. You need extra warm blankets for winter. The blankets there are summer blankets. A rug inside door would help alleviate mud from being tracked in - I spent time every day sweeping up and wiping mud from floors. The deadbolt lock doesn’t work. More gravel in parking area will help with mud. Otherwise a great experience.

I don't like to say this, but the check-in was not very friendly. It also took a bit of time to find that employee that was to do the check-in. A visitor actually helped me - so much so that I thought he worked there.

We only stayed one night and were there to visit the Black Canyon NP. We arrived late in the afternoon and right away we were given a beautiful guide book on the canyon and the suggestion to see the park at sunset then go back during the day. Best suggestion ever! We loved Montrose, and the super clean KOA! The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen. Super convenient, clean, quiet, relaxing.

Great KOA site, staff were friendly and the area was clean. The cabin we stayed in will need a new window AC unit, the one we had barely worked but aside from that it was great!

Deluxe cabin - better than hotel room but glad we didn't pay full rate. The Good: located at entrance of campground, full-size kitchen appliances, plenty of storage and outlets, pool and hot tub were still open. The Not so Good: Window A/C not sufficient to cool whole cabin, ceiling lights in bedroom didn't work, dirty oven, no staff available to refill propane tank for grill, spotty WiFi.

Rented a Cabin for an overnight stay. Really nice, very quite and well kept campgrounds. Check in was fast and easy, Mary and her husband were awesome. Thanks for a great stay.

Sites are tiny. No privacy. Our cabin site faced the storage unit. A foot away was the public bathroom, on the other side was a pitiful gravel only rv site that at first glance we thought was our parking space. A road no fence is the only thing that separated us from what was a potential meth house. Couldn’t get out of there fast. Frt desk friendly, some nice touches. Felt like a trl park

Stayed at the lodge. Neg: Surfaces were dusty, floors were extremely dirty. Knives were dull. No coffee filters, no complimentary shampoo/body wash. Glass table on the deck was covered with a thick layer of some kind of residue with a joint butt. Pos: Bathtub was clean, no mold. Clean sheets. Close to Black Canyon. Pool & hot tub.
