Nice, clean park with trees by most sites. Employees are friendly and helpful. Montrose KOA is also close to many sights in the area.

Quiet, clean and a pool. Close to stores and downtown. Ideal for a trip to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP and Colorado Monument.

wow!better then advertised,nice to have an A/C,very clean,it was sold to me that there was going to be restrooms that I could walk to, I figured a port-a-potty/blue-house/outhouse,etc. but i was told both bathrooms were down but I could use the womens, Im a guy, not gonna do that in a public place, so discount? spent little time there, because of no restrooms. Staff was great & friendly.

I apologize for the inconvenience of our bathrooms being closed during your stay with us. Unfortunately, we had a plumbing emergency that was out of our control and were unable to get a portable bathroom trailer here until the next day. I have issued a partial refund.

Cabins, restrooms, and area are very clean. Staff very nice and helpful.

Stay was good. Did not realize that KOA policy is to take full payment for the reservation FIVE days prior to arrival, with no refund with changes made, and to charge $25.00 to make any change. Wound up being $150.00 per night, after no refund for cancelled night’s stay. They held firm to their ‘POLICY’ of no refund. Goodbye KOA.

We enjoyed this KOA. The place we stayed in was nice , quiet and very clean. The pool and hot tub were great. Staff was awesome. We will be back

Very pleasant 4 nights in city in which we lived 40 years ago. Office personnel were very accommodating and physical plant has been nicely updated since our last visit.

We were there for two days, enjoyed the experience the staff was helpful and the facilities were well takes care of. I do have one question where did you get the war birds that were on the poles around the facilities? Thanks for the experience. We were on our 45th wedding anniversary redoing our honeymoon. Thank you.

This is my second stay and it was as good as the last. Very friendly, helpful staff. My mistake was to get the small cabin, while it was clean and almost completely taken over by the full size bed and the bunk beds. It had one small shelf, a fold up chair and that it is. Eating, cooking, even making coffee was done outside on the picnic table.

The ladies who you check in with were not very friendly as they have been in the past years that we have stayed at Black Canyon National Park. Our group had 4 campsites and they were rather rude to one of the campers in our group at check in. We all have stayed at your park over the past years and are considering finding a different park to stay at in Montrose for our annual trip next year.

For the price? meh. We stayed in the Hideout tiny house. It had strong detergent and air freshener smell. Both my children were snotty and sniffly while staying there and not sick before or a day after. The cleaner had been left out on the window sill upstairs. The container unmarked with a unidentified liquid cleaner in it which we all should now is a OSHA violation. All cable channels fuzzy.

I arrived at 7:30 p.m. in the dark and the rain. I had a hard time finding the office, as it was not well marked or lit. I also had a hard time finding the folder left for late arrivals, as the bin was not lit. Showers cramped and dangerous--no mat, no benches, few hooks. Bad sewage smell around the building next morning.Will not stay here again. Not up to par for a KOA.

Staff was wonderful! Super friendly and helpful. Location was very close to the national park and other amenities. Site was clean, and we enjoyed our stay.

Well maintained shady and grassy areas. Mostly clean restrooms and laundry area. Putting shelves in the ladies showers might keep everyone from using the ADA shower with the chair in it, which causes that drain to clog up more quickly and have standing water.

We had the best vacation. Our cabin was amazing and comfortable. Cleaned by a lovely lady Dorothy. Managers Susan and Brooke were phenomenal. Pool and hot tub were great! Thank you for such great hospitality!

Tent sites were not as advertised and low quality due to location. Changed to tv sites for the night. During the night there were two cars repeatedly coming back and forth looking suspicious like a drug dealer and my husband and I were concerned and stayed up most of the night only to watch these individuals return twice and stayed right outside our tv sites more than 10

Prior to arrival, KOA website stated that there was only one site available for only 3 nights. After arriving I found that there were plenty if sites for however king you like. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 6 nights. Site was fune but I had to disconnect my toad and park it sideways to fit it on my site. Other than that, our stay was great. We stayed in a 43' class A motorhome.

Great campground! Nice shade, very clean. Staff was very helpful. Friends stayed in the cottage. Staff called after we had checked out to see if we had left something in the unit. It wasn’t us, but I was impressed with their effort!

Sites were not very level, the pool was closed for “deep cleaning” the several days we were there, though we were told that it would be open the day after we got in. As we were leaving the last day some guy in a floppy hat was fishing around in the supply cabinet, so I assume the “deep cleaning” was imminent. I will say it was pretty quiet.

Unfortunately, we have had a large amount of Elm Bugs this season and although they are a nuisance they are not harmful to people or pets.

The park was quiet and clean with each site having shade. The dog walk was mowed down nicely and clean. The pet run area had mulch covering all the ground therefore there were a lot of gnats attracted to the mulch. The pool was clean and warm.

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
