This was a quiet campground with very friendly staff, easy walking distance to a bakery, bbq restaurant and several fast food restaurants, and the nicest tent camping sites!

Really enjoyed our stay. It was a last minute decision to stop, with snowfall, and they were very accommodating to give us a lot after hours AND fill us up with propane before nightfall. Clean laundry room and bathroom. With it were warmer weather to enjoy their pool and sauna!

restrooms clean. in winter not many guests so quite but was surprised by 1:00 AM cars cutting through the resort several times

Nice place, had to layover for a blizzard, had to pay your horrible high prices. and for some reason I did not get my member discount when due to weather, I had to stay an extra day,,,,

I do see that your KOA rewards discount was not applied to your second reservation. I am not sure why that happened but I have fixed that and sent you a small refund. Sorry you had this experience.

The lady at the desk was amazing and kind,and enjoyed talking with her and her son. They made the stay pleasant however the overly judgemental couple who decided to call the cops and remove me due to my storage totes being outside and food on table (too much stuff) ,when at the end of the day what I own is all I have. The cancer and my stuff they kicked me out and I wouldn't go back .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You had a full-size RV in a tent site and the amount of “stuff” you had laying around your site was enough to fill a full-size truck bed, it also smelled very bad and was attracting flies. Our check out time is 11:00 am. I spoke to you at 11:15 and allowed you to have a late check out of 1:00 pm

Wonderful park and wonderful staff. Must not have many police in town as cars were racing up and down the Main Street all night. Everything was great until our last night when a large group of rude people rented a bunch of the cabins. They raced around the campground and walked through people’s sites until after midnight.

We enjoyed the campground, it was easy to see all of the improvements that had been made recently. It was close to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, which is the reason we were in the area. The neighborhood itself was a little sketchy, I did not feel safe walking outside of the campground.

We had to leave early, for a family emergency. They graciously gave us a days refund! Nobody does that ! I'm gonna join koa program! Park was clean. Utilities fine. Still hot. Koa needs to leave pool open longer. Global warming. Will be back!

Clean campground. Very nice bathrooms that are super clean. We stayed at a tent site. Located close to Black Canyon National Park. Very friendly staff!

Campground was very clean. We were staying here for the Black Canyon which is 15 minutes down the road. Stayed in a cabin with tv. Only complaint was the tv was hard to operate for channel surfing if not use to Ruko.

It was a very convenient location to town and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nati'l Park. We had a little issue with the connection for the sewer. The maintenance man was contacted and came right over to check out the issue. We were able to move to another site and successfully hook up. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and concerned with our needs.

We stayed in a clean cabin. The bed mattress was not comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the dog park daily. However, the 3 trash cans in the dog park were filled to the top with bags of poop and were never emptied during the 8 days we were there. Unfortunately, previous guests did not always pick up after their dogs. A suggestion, an area for washing dishes would be helpful.

The staff we spoke with were very friendly and helpful, site was large enough for our rv, the pool was closed ( end of season I believe) so we were unable to use it to give any thoughts on it. However it was still in the 90* area�

Really nice staff. Park feels tired, crowded. Do NOT come here if you have a larger rig. Really narrow roads, low trees and tight turns. We used to count on KOAs for being better parks, but seems their quality is down overall, but prices are up. I’ll definitely do more research before staying at another.

We stayed in a cabin that had a shower, cooking facilities, etc, along the busy check in and park road. The cabin had a "musty" smell when we went in. All of the blinds were damaged and need to be replaced. The cabin is very out dated inside and needs to have some updates. After leaving the windows open, the musty smell was tolerable!!!. For the price paid, it was not a pleasurable experience.

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
