Bathrooms were clean but the shower pressure was too high and couldn’t be lowered. Men’s bathroom didn’t have toilet paper in two stalls. Mattresses in the cabin were flat, old and sunk all the way at the middle that it felt like we were sleeping on the wood floor, very uncomfortable! Store was only open a few hours, pool would close randomly for hours and not open back up, purchased the fire pit bundle only to find it wasn’t delivered them had to argue with the after hours line that we’d already paid.

Nice clean campground, clean bath rooms, friendly staff if not very knowledgeable. Picked this location for wifi internet access. Pitiful connection, .4 mbps download, .3 mbps upload. Dialup was better 20 years ago.

I have stayed at KOA’s all over the western US. this is by far the worst experience at of all of them! The owners were rude, and not helpful. The business hours were not traveler friendly

The site was suppose to be a pull thru, but we had to back in due to the layout of the site. There was petrified dog poop on the site when we arrived. The cable fixture was torn out so we did not have cable. No help form the office (never returned my call) or maintenance. The park is next to a junk yard in full view. Location of park for area attractions are good.

The weeds were 18 inches tall. The water outlet never stopped leaking. They used some type of ant bait that did not work. Told the office about the water leak. That did not help. Walking aroundi i noticed a decline on grounds maintenance.

Seems like a nice facility overall. However, we were disappointed with our particular site (#1). There was a picnic table and electric hookup as expected, but no fire ring. The main issue though was that the site was out in the alley like an afterthought, separated from the campground and didn't appear very secure. Felt like half a site at full price.

very clean and peaceful no traffic noise nice shade trees and clean facilities. Staff very friendly. Meet people staying here that have been coming for 12 up to 17 yrs. that speaks volumes. MBY from TN

Management does not do a good job of maintaining the property. Stayed in long term area in the back therefore they do not keep it looking good as they do by the street. Grass not mowed regularly, fence falling down so druggies trespass between run down mobile home park and property. Also owner has a dumpy long term RV park filled with druggies. Bathroom showers have mold growing between walls.

It was okay, the water electric and sewer all worked but it was a little difficult getting the 90 connected. The cable did not work. The bathrooms were kept nice and also cool. I just could not bring myself to brush my teeth with someone using the toilet. Anyway I waited until I was back at camp. There was a sprinkler head with a leak and it created a mud hole between the camper and the picnic tab

The mattress was very uncomfortable and slept terribly. Told us we would have linens and then wanted to charge us for them on arrival. The wood flooring was popping up, creating a gap between slats that pinched our feet. Picture on the wall was not secured and brackets were coming out of the wall. Couldn’t sit outside due to dog urine smell from dog walk. Fridge/freezer/microwave worked well.

The employees are friendly. They have some good features but This KOA looks tired.The front office area looked nice but the other areas need more maintenance with weed control. The pool water was cloudy the entire time we were there and the hot tub looks like it’s seen better days. There were weeds in the pool area deck. The dog park had a lot of old dog poop laying around inside the fence.

It was overall a good stay. The facilities were kept up well. There is room for improvement with regard to the pool which is why you did not receive 5 stars. The pool water was milky looking and not clear. Everything else was very good, great job. I would stay here again.

Wonderful people that saw to it we had what we needed for our stay in one of the bungalow cabins. While being a bit old in appearance and perhaps not spick and span clean, everything worked that should work, including the gas stove, refrigerator, shower and other bathroom amenities, and the bed was comfortable. Would come here again. :)

Not a bad park. Campsites were a little tight. Roads were narrow. Gravel pads. Location was excellent for us in route to Yellowstone. Met lots of people coming from just being in here so we got good feedback

This was the first time I used a KOA cabin and it was really nice! The mattress on the bed was perfect and my son and I both enjoyed staying in the cabin rather than sleeping in our vehicles. The bathrooms were nice and always clean and the staff was always nice and helpful.

Tent sites seem to be newly updated as new fencing and covered seating areas supplied making it all feel very private but a bit boxed in. Nice pool area that closes at 8pm. Showers a bit cramped so everything gets wet but there is a bench outside shower cubicle where you can leave your stuff and get changed. Office shuts at 5pm but they leave details of your reservation on a board by the office.

What a wonderful hidden gem in the KOA catalog of parks. 20 minutes from Black Canyon, 3 minutes from downtown Montrose and groceries, etc. Lovely, treed sites, a nice pool and the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground. My only "complaint" is the store hours are fairly limited (9-5). It would be nice if they were possibly 8-8 or something like that. Very nice campground and great staff!
