We wanted a place that was close to the national park, this place was it. It's in town but also near the Black Canyon so for us it was perfect. We had a cabin and it was clean and well maintained. I gotta say the bathrooms were probably the cleanest campground bathrooms I've encountered, and that us super important to us, so thank you! It was off-season when we went so it was nice and quiet.

For the duration of our stay the office was closed. The only staff that we saw never said hello.

The upgraded cabin with half bath was a joke! Would have been better to spend the almost $100 on a motel room with a shower. The mattress was crap, the furnishings were sad, the TV was miniature, the cabin was next to a empty lot of debris, really pathetic! The only positive was that the room was large altho shabby. We expect better from KOA cabins & were very disappointed with this stay.

The park was nice but there is no one available on Sunday. Even the after hours phone number was not answered and no one called us back. It's not right to never call us back.

Very nice park, mature trees and clean. Friendly office staff. Good size spaces, no crowding. Definitely will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time visiting the Black Canyon NP and were very pleased with the accommodations at the KOA there. There was plenty of room in our cabin, the heater worked well, the TV was a nice add and it had a good half bath! Two areas for improvement. The laundry room was closed during our stay. Also, the mattress was terrible and in need of replacement. Overall very satisfied!

Spacious sites, quiet, well maintained. You are not crammed against your neighbour at this KOA. Best one that we have stayed at.

De restrooms zaten op slot. De codes van het slot deden het niet. Noodnummers gebeld maar hier werd niet op gereageerd. Later werd er kortaf gereageerd en werd er gedaan alsof de fout bij ons lag. Terwijl er geconstateerd werd dat het slot het echt niet deed. Geen woord vsn excuus.

Very comfortable, friendly staff- we stayed in the Bungalow- microwave didn’t work upon arrival, laundry was not available and pull out bed mattress- you sink to the middle - cabin was very roomy and in spite of these things we did enjoy our stay

We enjoyed our short stay. This KOA was better than other KOAs we have stayed at. The sites were nicely spaced out with green grass and picnic tables between the sites. At most other KOAs we have stayed at, we are sandwiched in between larger rigs with no space to enjoy and often no picnic tables. We typically don't stay at KOAs for that reason. We are a small 26' travel trailer.

I stayed in A Primitive cabin as I have at other KOA Campgrounds. They had a mini refrigerator and or microwave for the same price to stay that night. Positive for this KOA is it was pet friendly. Nice location for visiting Black Canyon National Park . The office was also not open at posted times and they have a very late check in time of 4:00 p.m.

Quiet and worked for what we needed; however, the ladies’ room code didn’t work on Sunday when office was closed and no after-hours phone number available. We resorted to driving to nearby gas station.

The office clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. The park had lovely shade trees & typically terrible wifi. Cable TV provided many grainy stations but over-the-air channels were clear as a bell. Some "pull thru" sites required a 90° turn, too tight for 40' fivers. Limited parking for tow or extra vehicle. Exiting the street requires crossing or turning onto a busy hiway.

Very clean. Stayed one night - met our needs. Something needs to be done with humans who leave dogs in their units unattended. All afternoon we listened to two pups whining and barking in their trailer. I am not questioning their safety - They simply didn’t like being left there and let everyone around them know it. Sad - 2 spaces up from us. Next to our friends - Bragg’s - had not arrived yet

Pull through site was nice and clean but park looks tired with some deferred maintenance. Served our needs and was conveniently located near entrance to black canyon of the gunnison national park

We are fairly new to this and this was our first stay ever at a KOA. We received a friendly reception and it all went pretty smoothly. The only negative was being awakened very early one morning with the incredibly loud sound of trash removal somewhere nearby. Loved the location, convenient to tourist attractions in the area.

Very quiet campground. Gravel pads with grass in between. We did not use the bathroom or showers. Laundry was closed, office said new machines were ordered. Fairly close to Black Canyon and in Montrose. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed in a cabin. The bed was too hard for my liking. Next time I will bring my air mattress to put on top. Otherwise it was a great experience! I'd not hesitate to stay here again.

The location was perfect for us and the KOA was spacious and the bathrooms very clean. Unfortunately, all of the washing machines and dryers were broken as well as the hot tub.

Very friendly and helpful. Needed a late check out and they had no issues. Sites are bordered and graveled with grassed areas.

Our site was facing the trash and dump station, didn’t like that. One reason we booked here was the hot tub which was out of order. I felt that the camp could use some updating.

Rented an RV site with no problems. Also rented a camper cabin for our son. He told us there were bugs in the cabin and he took care of them. Otherwise everything was fine.

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
