It was a very nice campground close to everything in Montrose. Hook ups are in good shape and everything worked well. Campground was clean, pool was in good shape and open. Playground needs some attention but is useable. Other campers drive way too fast through the campground and staff does nothing about it, very unsafe for little children. Most of the speeders seem to be long term campers.

I had a very nice time at the campground. The bathrooms were first class and all the hook-ups were no issue. The WiFi was good for email and that satisfied my needs. I would stay here again

Quiet spot for two nights while we visited Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Level spots. Nice people.

Great place to stay and visit. Plenty of room and mostly quiet. The only noise was a few motorcycles and atvs. Close to plenty places to eat and to refill the truck. Checkin was friendly and quick.

The stay was fantastic and very enjoyable. I would suggest that your women’s shower area needs a little work. Shower stalls, need a place to sit down, and the curtains need to be long enough to extend below the raised floor rim in order to keep the water contained. The restrooms were neat and clean.

Wi-Fi and location was great. Bathroom and laundry room are clean. The grounds next to Rv slots needs better maintenance(mowing). Back part of park is not well maintained with worn out full time trailers and dog park is a mess.

The cabin was perfect for our stay. It was clean and had all the basics for a comfortable stay. The campground was kept in good condition. The KOA was close to all the anemities in town and to the Black Canyon National Park. Would definitely make another trip to this area and stay at this campground.

We arrived and the spot we had chosen was still occupied, they gave us a different spot but it was to small for the camper and pickup. Would have liked to have had a fire ring.

Cabin was clean and so was bedding. Attendant upon registering was very friendly. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator and Microwave. .bathhouse and bathrooms clean. Camoground was very well maintained. Thank you.,

Very, clean, and big. Staff worked had. Very quiet. Close to downtown, we recommend the Double barrel tacos. And the Lighthouse. Camp Robber wonderful as always. Short drive to National Park!

very quiet, clean park. The laundry has new machines and the bathrooms/showers are cleaned daily the management never bothers you and if you stay within the rules they leave you alone. We were there for 3 weeks and had a great visit

Had trouble with after hours check in. Wrong name on the sealed envelope. Tried to call to get help and it went to voicemail (with no call back after leaving my info) Opened Johnson’s envelop to get codes for bathroom and WiFi. Turns out our info was in the Johnson envelopes. Anyway, got off on the wrong foot. Otherwise the stay was ok, showers could be better as there were no bench inside stal

The office+store was closed during out entire 2 day stay which made purchasing more firewood difficult. The hosts never check on our needs despite walking past us on more than 1 occasion. The (Mr.) owner was rude on our arrival as we called the after hours number and he accused us of not checking the late check-in box after we already had. Shady cars drive through the campgrounds often.

nobody at the site. The welcome email came a day late, no information on shower code to get into the bathroom, whoever is running this campground was totally nonresponsive

I have always loved staying at KOAs. My experience at Montrose KOA was no different. Cozy and clean cabin with heater. Super clean bathrooms. Really good value for money.

We stayed at the KOA I. Salida CO. Then had reservations at the Montrose KOA. Monarch Pass was closed due to snow and a rock slide. Called Montrose KOA to explain what happened. Thought we might on our way back stay with them… I asked if a credit might be possible fir a week later stay. It’s been since Nov 4, 2022 and we have yet/ will not get a return call. we booked another KOA Holbrook

I'm paying good money for a cabin experience. But the cabin is next to the office, laundromat, ice machine. No esthetics with this cabin. The microwave doesn't work, I'm told as I check in. No coffee filters to be found. It is the end of October, and there is no blanket on the bed, and only a thin one on a shelf. I luckily had another one in my car. One star because it was heated, w kitchen.

Good place to stay and explore the west slope area! The bunkhouse cabin was nice with exception to the queen bed mattress was uncomfortable and the floor was alittle dirty! Otherwise it was nice!

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
