Dud not care for the site we were assigned, spent 1st night hooked up and requested to be moved the next morning. We were told they were full but would see what they could do. 1/2 hour latter-host came to us to show us another camp site. Was VERRY pleased that they were so accommodating. Thank you,

Very nice campground, a lot of tall weeds that could use some maintenance and the dog run is overgrown but all in all a nice place to stay! Very quite except for the loud party outside the campground to no fault of the KOA. We will be back if in the area!

The amazing owners of this park saved our butts and got us a spot after hours when we were in a jam. 9 hours of driving and highway 50 was closed heading toward Gunnison, closes fully at 7:30pm and we rolled through about 8:30. Went back to montrose knowing all the rv parks were closed but we caught the husband on his golf cart and he had his wife help us get their last spot for the night. THANKS!

It was a perfect stay! Quiet. Clean. And nice shower house my husband said. I like using my own in my camper but he uses the shower house. Again a Perfect stay! Would stay again if in the area.

Cabin was nice and clean, as well as, bathrooms. Was nice having our pet with us as well. However, There were batteries missing from our smoke detector, seems like a hazard. A fire pit would have been nice at each site. The wifi password did not work for us, very disappointed. The mattress was also more uncomfortable than most KOAs we have stayed at.

The grass in most sites was knee-deep our first 11 days. Most gravel sites were covered in weeds even after they mowed grass the last few days of our stay. There was a full roll-off dumpster next to the owner's unmowed yard. Kamp K9 is poorly maintained and next to trash piles, including old mattresses, box springs, and 4 dilapidated vehicles. A long-term tenant's site was filled with garbage.

My stay at this koa was very comfortable. Check in and out was very quick and easy. The cabin I stayed in was clean and neat. The showers and bathroom was always clean. It’s nice and convenient that the campground is close to town for shopping and dining. Black Canyon National Park is just a short drive down the Highway and well worth the drive. All and all I had a great time. Many thanks to all

We had a FHU site right near the playground where the kids enjoyed playing. We had a large space and some shade, which was nice. Pool was pleasant but could have been a bit cleaner. Overall we were very happy with our stay (total for 3 nights)

Nice camping spots but the surrounding area within the campground appears to be used as a landfill.

We were traveling on motorcycles an stayed in a Camping Cabin. It was awesome. We had a half bath in the Cabin. The place was wuiet, showers were great.

The staff was nice and friendly. Bathrooms and showers were very nice and clean. Pool area looked nice but it was cold and raining so we did not get to enjoy.

Very nice, well cared for campground. Bathroom were clean and the campground was very quiet at night. Very little traffic noise. The staff was great. Very friendly and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay.

The tent sites needs some work but the staff realizes this and was very accomodating to allow some other options while they were being restored. The staff was very friendly and the bathrooms and showers were clean and nice to use! Great job and well done!!!!!! They may want to consider keeping the pool and hot tub open later than 7pm such as 9 or 10pm.

We stayed in a cabin. The layout was perfect. Surface clean looked great until I dropped piece of ice, wiped up, floor was dirty. Most disappointing was outside. The chairs znd table were nasty, unusable and did not look like they had been cleaned in a long time.

They got us a spot for 3 days at the last minute when we realized we didn't have a place to stay. A mixup with a reservation we had made somewhere else. Great place. Friendly people. Large pull through sites. Close to town. Thank you again for helping us.

Friendly check-in, well-maintained parking spots, clean bathrooms. The location in Montrose, an easy 20 minute drive to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, was perfect for us.

Staff was kind and accommodated us very well. 23 was a great site. Neighborhood is a little scary as a truck with 4 guys and used furniture drove fast through the campground and neighboring people don't seem friendly.

Paid for a tent spot but the renovations meant no tent spot and we have to camp in the grass area that had heavy foot traffic and bright lights due to the proximity of the bathroom. I wish I had been warned about this and/or charged less than the standard rate since we got less amenities (no picnic table, no tent pad, no place to tie up our dog)

The campsites were large with grass between them. Which is nice when you have a dog. Unfortunately sites weren't very level. I do wish there was an actual dog park. The dog area is nothing but weeds and stickers, so not safe for dog paws. Will probably not stay in the future since would prefer a more dog friendly campground.

Good location. At 10 pm we found that the sofa bed had no linens. We struggled to contact staff who finally brought linens. Cabin was dirty and in desperate need of a decent clean or refit! Electrical sockets hung out of wall- extremely dangerous. Floors, carpet, bathroom fixtures, window sills etc were disgusting, sheets dirty, and furniture covered in hair and marks. We would not recommend!!!

Very quiet campground. Be sure to pay attention when you approach the campground for a stop sign. It’s hard to see! Nice, laundry area and clean bathrooms.

A great park, but unfortunately there is no dog yard. Huge, loud equipment next to what had been the dog yard. And the fence torn down. What was termed the dog walk was by a nasty bar ditch. And the one mowed spot was full of Foxtail grasses (grass awns that can kill a dog.) There were grassy areas right next to the spaces, so that helped with no true pen.Very nice, clean facilities and pool.

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
