Awful. Dead Elm Beetles everywhere! The bunkhouse was filled with all kinds of damage. The bunkbed, floor buckling, bed is HORRIBLE. The bathroom is outdated. Still trying to understand how they are charging me a damaging fee of $25. Everything in there is DAMAGED even to the door handle imprint in the wall. Never again. This is the worst KOA I have ever dealt with. We left it cleaner than recieve

Tent sites leave quite a bit to be desired. There is zero shade for tents. The sites are small and close together. We were there when it was 95 and full sun on the sites. If you are in a RV it seems to be a nice place. Not very tent friendly. People are awesome. Probably won’t choose this KOA again since we tent on motorcycle.

Tons of bugs crawling all over my bed in my cabin, would never stay at this KOA again. Every other KOA I've stayed at has been very pleasant. I have videos of literally 1000s of bugs dead and alive all over the bed and cabin. Do they not clean these cabins? Worst KOA I've ever stayed at.

The site was great. It had some shade, was a pull thru, bathrooms and laundry were helpful. Unfortunately we missed the pool, but it was understandable.

The staff was lovely, but the facilities were disappointing. The pool was out of use the one day we tried to use it, the showers had nowhere to sit down except out in public, so you couldn't get dressed there, the showers didn't contain the water, so the ante-room was flooded all the time. We've never used our RV shower so much as we did that week.

We were camping in a tent and our place had only a little but of shade. It was boiling hot and we had full sun from 8am to 7pm and the pool was closed due to a problem with the chemicals. We left earlier because of that reason. Facilities were great

The staff was very friendly. The cabin was just as pictured. Although they told us about them, the bugs were quite bad.

A nice campground, friendly staff. We specifically chose this campground because of the pool, but when we arrived the pool was out of service. This was not mentioned in the KOA app when booking. Also, the tent site we were in was flooded by a broken pipe. We were not offered a new site. Our site was full of mud. Grave/mud l was tracked into the tent and we ended up with a hole in our mattress.

The campground met and exceeded our expectations. Friendly, helpful person at checkin. Long, comfortable site. Escort got us settled in the site.

We had a nice stay. Met some awesome ladies while doing laundry. Could’ve really used the pool and hot tub after 3 weeks on the rd and really needed that in our lives, so that was a huge disappointment that we arrived so early to enjoy these amenities and they were both closed. So sad

Beautiful park, loved the convenience of location near the Black Canyon National Park and all of the campground amenities! People were awesome and our pups enjoyed the grassy areas and the dog walk areas.

The property needs lots of maintenance. I was coming from steamboat KOA and spent one night in one of the cabins. The outside patio of the cabin was dirty and the A/C was throwing water inside and not working. They switched us to a other cabin and was infested with bugs. I’m really disappointed with this KOA.

There was a problem with elm beetles and I wasn't told about it until check-in. I would rather have heard about it ahead of time and investigated the issue. I was disappointed to not open windows in the cabin or have the door open. There were dead bugs on the window sills in the cabin - seems like an easy thing to clean off.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice facilities. We didn’t enjoy the unexpected sprinkler system spraying we received while sitting at the table for supper.

First KOA that I have stayed at in a while that had shade. THANK YOU. Everything worked fine. Nice restrooms and showers cleaned regularly. Next time I'll order cooler weather :)

We stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Black Canyon area. Sites had plenty of shade from large trees. KOA location was great...right near downtown, but set back from main road enough to be quiet. Enjoyed cooling off in the the pool. I'd definitely stay here agin.

Horrible experience at this location. At first we saw the restrooms and thought that it was nice but staying at the cabin was something else. It was infested with bugs everywhere. My son and I tried killing as many as we could before going to bed but they were still coming in from all the crevices. Felt disgusted. Never again.

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
