It was okay, the water electric and sewer all worked but it was a little difficult getting the 90 connected. The cable did not work. The bathrooms were kept nice and also cool. I just could not bring myself to brush my teeth with someone using the toilet. Anyway I waited until I was back at camp. There was a sprinkler head with a leak and it created a mud hole between the camper and the picnic tab

The mattress was very uncomfortable and slept terribly. Told us we would have linens and then wanted to charge us for them on arrival. The wood flooring was popping up, creating a gap between slats that pinched our feet. Picture on the wall was not secured and brackets were coming out of the wall. Couldn’t sit outside due to dog urine smell from dog walk. Fridge/freezer/microwave worked well.

The employees are friendly. They have some good features but This KOA looks tired.The front office area looked nice but the other areas need more maintenance with weed control. The pool water was cloudy the entire time we were there and the hot tub looks like it’s seen better days. There were weeds in the pool area deck. The dog park had a lot of old dog poop laying around inside the fence.

It was overall a good stay. The facilities were kept up well. There is room for improvement with regard to the pool which is why you did not receive 5 stars. The pool water was milky looking and not clear. Everything else was very good, great job. I would stay here again.

Wonderful people that saw to it we had what we needed for our stay in one of the bungalow cabins. While being a bit old in appearance and perhaps not spick and span clean, everything worked that should work, including the gas stove, refrigerator, shower and other bathroom amenities, and the bed was comfortable. Would come here again. :)

Not a bad park. Campsites were a little tight. Roads were narrow. Gravel pads. Location was excellent for us in route to Yellowstone. Met lots of people coming from just being in here so we got good feedback

This was the first time I used a KOA cabin and it was really nice! The mattress on the bed was perfect and my son and I both enjoyed staying in the cabin rather than sleeping in our vehicles. The bathrooms were nice and always clean and the staff was always nice and helpful.

Tent sites seem to be newly updated as new fencing and covered seating areas supplied making it all feel very private but a bit boxed in. Nice pool area that closes at 8pm. Showers a bit cramped so everything gets wet but there is a bench outside shower cubicle where you can leave your stuff and get changed. Office shuts at 5pm but they leave details of your reservation on a board by the office.

What a wonderful hidden gem in the KOA catalog of parks. 20 minutes from Black Canyon, 3 minutes from downtown Montrose and groceries, etc. Lovely, treed sites, a nice pool and the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground. My only "complaint" is the store hours are fairly limited (9-5). It would be nice if they were possibly 8-8 or something like that. Very nice campground and great staff!

We enjoyed the hot tub. The pool needed to be cleaned, the water was milky white colored. Staff who checked us in was nice, that was our only interaction.

The campsites are great, lots of room and nice grass and tree cover. WiFi was poor, however, which makes it tough for those needing to work.

The bathrooms were super nice and very easy to access! We have a good amount of privacy even while tenting which was nice. We also used their grill a couple times and it was very useful! The pool was a little murky but other than that our stay was perfect!

Too tight for big motor coaches. WiFi terrible. Cell service ok. Sprinklers com on at 9:45 pm and spray your coach. Would not recommend.

Campground was quite dated, in a pretty undesirable location (right behind a Days Inn), and the tent sites (which they do not have pictures of on their website) are basically in dirt pits on the outskirts the campground. Only saving grace was the playground which our girls loved playing at. Would not visit again,.

People set up their tents at midnight, talked loudly. There was no control from the office people. Tent sights are too small. Pool very dirty.

This is a great location for camping in a tent or staying in your camper/RV. We stayed in the small cabin which had a bug infestation that we were not made aware of until arrival. We wish we would have been notified ahead of time so we could have made other arrangements.

Friendly and very polite. Having shade with trees was helpful in high 90s heat. Bathrooms looked to have been updated. They were very clean. Quiet in evening even though close to Main Street into town.

Campground not well maintained. Spaces are mostly dirt, very little gravel. Ours had at least 6 large ant hills with lots of ants. Junk and trash stacked around enclosed pet area. Pool looked nice. Did not use their showers.

Site was flat gravel with shade. No issues with hookups. Bathrooms were clean. Showers are small but decent. Needs a little sprucing up - trim the weeds, etc. Wonderful staff.

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
