The campground is well laid out, plenty of shade and the sites are nicely sized. Very clean and it's clear that the staff take care of the site. It very close to old downtown yet very quiet. We stayed in the cabin with the loft and it was great. Stop by Scoops & Slices within a walking distance!

Very nice and beautiful campground! Close to town so you’re close to anything that you would need, but on a dead end street, so very private and quiet!

While we were reluctant at first about the location, this turned out to be a fantastic stay! The pool and hot tub were clean and super fun. My boys had fun playing basketball. Our cabin was perfect for our needs, clean bathrooms, and staff was great! If you are visiting Montrose and/or the Black Canyon, I highly recommend this KOA! Thank you for a great weekend!

Very quiet and clean campground. There is plenty of space between camp spots. The bathrooms were clean. Although we did not use the pool it looked clean and inviting!

The campground is well maintained. No debris at any of the sites as staff walked to sites and picked up anything that may have been left on the ground. The lawns were well kept as well at each site. Has a sprinkler system so the lawns were well covered with grass and not dirt. Our site was plenty long enough for our 35' fifth wheel and our tow vehicle. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fairly close access to Black Canyon of the Gunnison and right on the edge of town in Montrose. The bathrooms/ were clean. The only drawback was that the sites were very uneven causing set up to take longer than normal.

Quiet campground but not great for pets. The weeds with burrs and foxtails are out of control. The entire pet relief area is covered in foxtails, which are quite dangerous for dogs. I would not stay here again with a pet.

This KOA is great! The front desk lady, Karen, was so helpful. And the support staff was very accommodating and polite. Short drive up to the Black Canyon as well! Great small dog fenced. That's important to me. Wonderful! Thank you! I'll be back next time! Laura

We had a great time staying in the cabin on site. It was a quiet and low key KOA and fit perfectly with our time away from home.

The space assigned was right next another rv despite the park being mostly empty. The bathroom was very clean. The shower had good volume but lower pressure. The dog walk area is simply the back of the park along an irrigation channel. We arrived late and left early so never had a face to face with the host. The grounds were clean and site was mostly level.

The place is an older property. The grass is very sparse and muddy. They water everyday causing the problem. The cable TV didn't work and asked for help. but they never showed up to help.

We were in site 32, nice shade tree and level. We had to go to the 2nd road and back in instead of pull through. We have a 40’ class A pusher diesel that I could not get in because of the split rail fence being too close to the driveway. I might have been able to jockey it in but just easier to back in.

Was a very pleasant stay of 3 months, the staff are friendly & professional especially the head maintenance man Dominik , the shower house was clean & warm & I felt very safe they earned my future business

Office staff very helpful. Water at site ran pure brownish red water for a minute before it cleared. Check water before you connect to your rig. Bathrooms very clean modern and look fairly new.

Although the campground is right in town, it is quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and neat. National park is very close and, of course, spectacular.

Great base camp to explore Black Canyon and surrounding area. Great laundry area. Quiet campground that is well-kept and friendly.

the campsite was very clean especially the bathroom and shower facility, the staff was outstanding , they would always ask if we needed anything and if we are ok, outstanding customer service, if i didn't leave 800 miles away we would camp there as often as we can.

Only a quick qm1 night stopover, but the faculty was nice and clean. if I had to say something negative, the shower stall was tiny! The water pressure was great, but the stall was so small it sprayed all into the attached changing area.

Clean and quiet. We drove up to checkin at around 3pm. There was no one in the office and we didn't have a reservation. There was overnite checkin but no instructions on how to proceed if you didn't have a reservation and you are a KOA member. I then booked a reservation on the web site and drove into an available site. There was no info on shower codes or WIFI or laundry room codes. Very strange

Thank you for your feedback. We do have a night registration box to the right of the office door for walk up reservations if the office is closed. We were closed on Sundays in early April. We are so sorry for your frustration and hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future.

This is a fantastic stay. Very close in the middle of downtown, everything right nearby including a nice cheap laundromaut. Definitely a great overnight, would be nice for a few days in summer with the pool and hot tub. Clean showers, decent sites. Will stay again.

A very nice campground located in a quiet neighborhood. Friendly folks, clean bathrooms and plenty of shade trees. Highly recommend.

Nice little campground in Montrose. I had a cabin for the night. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. Would definitely start again!

Quiet location and clean but the grounds are covered with weeds with burrs. In fact, the pet area is full of foxtail which is dangerous for dogs. Would not camp here again with pets.
