The sites are very small. My main awning was almost covering the next sites sewer.

Last minute reservation got an unimproved grass site FHU but nothing else. Most sites close together, gravel, no trees. Small park.

I want to start off on a positive note. The staff in the office was extremely pleasant and welcoming. As far as the camp ground is concerned....very outdated and unkept . This is fine for a night if this is your ONLY option but I definitely would not recommend or even stay there in the future.

Very nice folks. I arrived for my reserved site about 15 minutes after the office closed. They saw me pull up and came out to greet me, lead me to my site, and make sure I was all set.

Our AC was not working so we requested a shady spot. They put us in the shade and brought us fans and icy cold water! Very nice park and very nice owners!!

Other than the sites being a little tight, the staff were so nice and it was a very level spot.

Friendly staff. Park clean well maintained. Trash pickup at site. They’re completing expansion and adding additional bath house so construction was occurring. There’s no pool at this time yet they’re adding a pavilion so maybe in the future.

Bathrooms and laundry rooms were in need of a little work. Water tap was an issue at our site. Was a really small and the hose end jammed up against the tap before I could tighten it so it leaked. We had to use our tank for the duration we were there

The spot that we was given was to small. We had a 30 foot travel trailer and the spot was only 30 feet long.

No cable, poor tasting water, small space. $30 spot for $52 . Won't be back.

My husband & I stayed overnight to break up our trip. Super friendly/accommodating lady greeted me after a long day’s journey. Escorted us to our nice, big pull through so we didn’t have to disconnect/take our vehicle off of the car dolly. We did not have to use any of the facilities so I can’t speak to them. No issue w/ cell service. Wonderful place to relax for the night!

level site - They are working on fixing up the place. Staff was super kind. Only suggestion is to plant some trees in the winter to get them established and at some point to provide shade

The stay was very nice. The Montgomery KOA Journey is a nice camping ground, level sites back away from the main road so very quiet.

Pros: Flat, concrete, and widely spaced patio sites. Friendly staff at checkin. Cons: Need to upgrade,expand, and clean bathroom facilities. Need to clean laundry room. Needs trees/shade for the pull through sites.

This campground is a work in progress- positive progress but still has a way to go before meeting KOA standards. We had a large, comfortable site close to the dog park. Staff was friendly and grounds were well maintained. Cell service (Verizon) was poor - 1 bar sporadically and wifi was nonexistent except for the hours between 5-7 am. Suitable for a quick one night stay.

Nice park, easy access from interstate. Location to major event area. Staff were very friendly and helpful getting us checked in and to our site.

I stayed for 2 wk during that tim e the bathrooms were not cleaned. The mens shower had a panel that was falling off, I pushed it back in and reported it to the office two days after I got there, nothing was done to repair it, WIFI didn't work . I paid 699.00 dollars for site, I will not stay there again.

Many historical things within an easy drive. Campground was neat and clean, but there were no trees so no shade. Good for overnight

Conveniently near the interstate. Site we were on was gravel surface and it was level. Good for short term stay. We would stay again in the future.

Needs an update. The bathrooms are in dyer need of update and up-keep. The grass needs mowing and whoever lives in the motel looking resident needs to clean up outside their place.

disappointed in the condition of the campground, the bathroom needs to be upgraded in the worst way possible. Also all the cut grass was very annoying and kept tracking into the RV.

I highly recommend the Montgomery KOA location. It is only a few minutes off I-85 exit 11, and it is set back away from the freeway noise. I just finished 3-1/2 months in our motorhome and needed several nights of quiet before getting home. Ms. Jennifer in the office is the very BEST, just what I expect at all KOA's. Ms. Jennifer jumps into her golf cart and shows you the way to your site.

New campground. Had some rain and several sites were flooded. Be careful entering from highway. Steep sharp turn and I hit our fifth wheel cap.

While it was only one night. All the staff was great to be around and extremely helpful. The grounds were in great shape and easy to navigate. We would highly recommend our family and friends to stay here.

The campground is nothing more than a gravel parking lot with some grass in between the sites. The water spigot is at ground level — not handy for us older folks — the sewer drain was backed up to the neck of the tube. When the staff was informed they said they’d look into it — they didn’t. Just a sorry campground. Miss this one.

Staff was awesome. Easy access to site. They are trying to get the campground up and running and don’t have a pool and just a playground. It is good for a night or two. Again we give the staff 5 stars.

The KOA staff were friendly and helpful with the site having a lot of amenities. The laundry room and bathrooms were a little outdated, but were clean. This KOA site did have an issue with May Flies with the staff alerting the campers of the issue.

Nice KOA for a stop over before we continued on our trip. Easy to locate fast access to freeway. Lots of updates coming to this location. Will be nice to see such a big space expand to something beautiful!

This KOA is great! The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. It is quiet for being close to the busy road & close to everything! They are working hard on getting it remodeled. I would stay here again. The price is right. Can't wait to see it in a couple years.
