Even with it in the 30s the beach is beautiful, a good time for us to rest. The bathrooms impeccably clean. We ran into friendly neighbors. This is our second time here and plan to return in the summer.

See a lot of work being done but still needs a lot more work. Difficult to locate with today’s GPS systems. Pull thru sites if towing has power far back of the site causing excessive length of RV power cord.

This KOA was very clean and the gravel site we were assigned was as level as could be expected. Office staff were polite and helpful. We greatly appreciated the advance notice to disregard the GPS directions to the campground by way of exit 16 off I-85 and to use exit 11 instead.

KOA Montgomery was the perfect two night stop-over to rest up on our long trip from northern Michigan to southern Florida.

Clean, spacious sites. Great for a night or two. Felt very safe. Only drawbacks were no fire rings at sites and no trees.

Great stay, great campground. Only reason I would give it an 8/10 is the steep driveway entrance. The rack on the back of my bus, carrying my golf cart, bottomed out pretty hard leaving the campground.

Gary the Manager is OUTSTANDING, his professionalism and dedication is second to none. We’ve now been at this KOA twice and will always stay here as our travels to the South dictate. Job Well Done Gary.

I as unable to get there before dark. But I did get a chance to look around before I left the next morning. Nice place. The only trouble I had was with 6 foot dog lead rule. But I understand there has to be rules. A 8 foot lead would be better for those of us with more then one dog.

It was an overnight stay, so didn't get to use many amenities, but was impressed by the host's friendliness and helpfulness. I was also impressed with the quality of the bathroom & showers. Only negative is that the grounds could use a bit more landscaping, but I believe they're in the process of addressing that.

Upon checking Gary was personable and professional. My site was large enough to fit my Coach and tow vehicle. We plan to return again next week. Job well done.

The only feedback is that it was dark when I hooked up and I got my shoes muddy as there was no gravel next to the hookups on my space. All else was good

Very nice people - not in office when we arrived mid day ( no note on the door). Bathrooms need a facelift!

We stayed a couple nights. Nice park to stay overnight. Not much to do for kids. But spots are spacious.

Friendly staff and very clean facilities. Convenient to the interstate so it is a great stop over for us.

Convenient to freeway for a one night stop. We spent two nights on our way to New Orleans. We visited the capitol and the Legacy sites. Great way to spend a day. Sites were level and easy in, easy out.

Very nice. Laundry room neat, except 1 washer was broken. Quiet and friendly neighbors and staff.

Thank you for the review. Yes we have a washer down but are adding a fourth and fixing that one. We are also adding a third dryer. The entire stagehouse is getting a facelift as well. We are adding a fitness center and recreation center to the building as well.

If you want to stay open year you need to heat your bathrooms

Thank you for your comment. Although all our bathrooms are heated we will certainly look into it to see if temperatures are all turned up high enough. Guests are able to make adjustments on thermostat so it is possible it was turned down when it was hotter out. We will handle it. Gary GM

Office was already closed when we got there at 5:50 (supposed to be open until 6). Luckily an employee was nearby. I told him what spot we were assigned according to paperwork on board. He told us that someone else was already in that spot.

People that run koa in Montgomery are awesome people. Stayed almost 2 years never had any problems.

They tell you to get off at exit 11 but not what to do after that. Site was small and poorly angled. Lots of dog poop around. Buildings in poor repair. Piles of debris in the field. It just wasn’t what we usually expect at a KOA.

Montgomery KOA have made several improvements in the last year including a new bath house and new RV sites.
