The steep entrance and exit should be flattened out a bit. And fire ant hills. Spray some poison. Kill those buggers. I sprayed all the mounds on my site and killed them all. And the new section, pack down that gravel. My truck/trailer combined weight is about 28K pounds. That loose gravel was No Bueno. I can only imagine how it would be for a big Class A with a tag axel....

The lady that helped us was very friendly. The pad was level and the hook ups were well maintained. It appears the grounds had run down but currently it is neat and clean and upgrades and improvements are underway. We enjoyed our stay.

We did stay a couple of days here on our way thru... close to everything including the highway. The pull thru was a little short for our 42 foot 5th wheel, but we did fit. Everyone was super friendly.

Our second stay here. There is a big difference between November of 2022 and November of 2023. There are brand new electrical boxes and new plumbing. The owners have heavily invested in improving this park. Other improvements are on the way. It is a quiet park. Easy to get to. The only complaint for us is the weaker Wi-Fi.

Even though camp is being renovated, we had a pleasant one night stay. Other than campers coming and going, it was a peaceful atmosphere. We didn’t use restroom/ shower facilities. Employees were helpful, pleasant and enthusiastic about the upgrades being done at the park.

Great bathroom/showers. One minor recommendation would be to add clothes hooks to hang your clothes on while showering.

Absolute mud pit. Could not walk from truck to camper without bogging down in mud.

Extremely friendly staff! Our site was spacious and the concrete parking pad was perfect for our coach. I understand this is a newly converted campground for KOA and a tremendous effort has been made for improvements. I wish the new owner and staff the best.

Campground may be new to KOA but is far from new, old campground slapped a KOA sign on it. Insufficient number of bathroom facilities (2 toilets and 2 showers) based on number of sites. Bathrooms had mold, were very dated, no hooks for towels and clothing, did have a bench 5 foot from shower, nice shower heads/ low water pressure, toilets flushed well, campground was free of litter.

Only a one night stay but campground will be great once all the improvements have been completed. Site was gravel and level. New bathrooms are being built as well as new sites. This new koa will be a stop for us in the future!

The park is being upgraded. This was our second stay in a month and noticed improvement from a month ago. I do hope they add fire rings for the sites.

New management is all over this place cleaning it up and making improvements. Doing a fantastic job. New bathhouse and extra machines in laundry on the list. It will be fun to see the changes as time goes on. Will be back!

Beautiful park people here are super friendly and very helpful ,very clean, close to everything and Very safe. I’ve extended my stay longer than usual. This park will be on my list of stay for the future.

Know you are updating and expanding. Store could use more items as many like myself are only there for one night and don,t disconnect. Maybe some frozen microwave ite.ms Staff was awesome

Obviously under construction so not really able to see the finished result…sites good size for overnight…appears lots of contractors there that come & go late & early…a snack cafe would be great for travellers that don’t want to cook…keep up the good work & I’m sure the end result will be great

I was unable to keep this reservation as I had a tire blow out about 90 minutes away. I tried to cancel and could not. I knew it was too late to get a refund yet thought someone might be able to use my spot.

We stayed for an overnight on our way to Florida. Location was easy to find, pull through site with full hook ups that worked well. Level sites east in and out. Would recommend for an overnight!

The people were very friendly and courteous. The campground was clean and well kept. The spots were level and groomed. The only downside is no pool and the bath house could use updating. We will return and really enjoyed the fact that it was within 15 minutes of the capital buildings and historic museum.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Looks like a fairly new park. Need to set fire rings differently. Overnight stay, met our needs.

This is our 2nd stay here. Great location. Off the beaten path yet close to stores, restaurants, major highways. We will be back in the spring when softball starts!

We got to meet some of the team during our stay - Peter, Jennifer and Tracey were working hard on improving the grounds and responding to questions. Peter solved our immediate need to store our trailer for a couple months. Very happy with our stay…thanks

Most inconvenient trip I’ve had in a long time. I don’t suggest going here unless it’s only a one night stay. Capitol oyster bar has a nice rv park for a better price with the same amenities and a restaurant on site.

This KOA is fairly new and being developed. So it will be able to accommodate three or four times more campers than were here, once all completed. I think there are not many employees at this time. They will deliver ice or firewood but I think the office +/ or small store is not occupied full time. It is not yet what it could be. But it is clean and safe and the folks were nice.

Stopped here for an overnight stay. Close to I85 but still very quiet. Clean campground, but kind of felt like just a bunch of gravel pads in a field. Friendly staff. One complaint, WiFi was intermittent.

Nice KOA for a stop over before we continued on our trip. Easy to locate fast access to freeway. Lots of updates coming to this location. Will be nice to see such a big space expand to something beautiful!

This KOA is great! The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. It is quiet for being close to the busy road & close to everything! They are working hard on getting it remodeled. I would stay here again. The price is right. Can't wait to see it in a couple years.
