Hard to believe this was a KOA. The buildings are very run down & in need of maintenance. The office building is missing boards on the outside & the insulation is exposed. The playground doesn’t exist. There’s no pool. There are piles of trash metal & boards on the property as well as a burned up trailer.

If you need a quick overnight stay , this is a good place to do it. The site were level, there was a nice walking trail. They offer a 24/7 community room with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The owners were friendly and the campground was close to the interstate. Very important to follow their directions to the campground , if you take the wrong exit it would be impossible to turn into the KOA

Wonderful owners that are making some much needed changes to an older campground. Extended a few days due to weather, no issues whatsoever. Definitely would stay again if in area!

Check in was easy and host was extremely friendly and accommodating during unusual rain storm. Grounds appeared to be clean, defined and we didn’t hesitate to park our class a with a tow during the storm We weren’t able to visit facilities due to the weather but we could tell they were making considerable improvements. Look forward to stopping again and seeing the changes.

The campground was perfect for our needs, a place to stop for a night on our trip home. This was our third stay at Montgomery KOA. A big shoutout to Gary, he let me use his air compressor to add air to one of our trailer tires. Gary actually brought the compressor to our site. Such service!

Nice place to overnight after escaping the severe storms. Has a track for walking dog, which i appreciated. Water spigot extremely low to ground, had to use an adapter to get an angle to attach hose, filter, etc. Nice people running the place. Fairly level spot but noticed a few flooded ones next to me. Good overnight stop.

Only stayed overnight. Nice lots but needs smaller gravel on top over the base. Cannot ride bike on it very well.

We stayed overnight so did not use any of the facilities. The campsite was large enough to accompany our 42 ft 5th wheel and truck. Water and electric hookups were used without incident. The park was quiet and the staff was very friendly.

No fire pit ring. Site dirty with landscaping debris. Romm connected to laundry area was open but quite dilapidated and strong mold smell. No activities. Burned up RV on the only walking path area. $70 is way over priced. We have been to many many KOAs. Many much better.

Washer/dryer club house smelt like mold, mildew. Lawns needed mowing. Employees/owners were very nice and willing to help with anything.

2 showers and 2 toilets for an entire campground is unacceptable .

Thank you for the comment. We do have four finished bathroom/showers with four more almost finished. We also have laundry facilities. Sorry you were unable to locate them on our map. Give us another chance and stop by again. we will take care of you as always.

Better than the last time we stayed there but still needs some attention to detail Store not open early enough or staffed well. Stock is minimal. Bathrooms are getting there but need some work Walking path needs a better surface

We were on our way from WI to Pensacola and came across multiple backups delaying us by several hours. We were very tired and felt unsafe to drive. We called last minute and git a site for overnight. What a huge relief. The gentleman who took our call was very polite

Very friendly and helpful staff. Appreciated the emails prior to arrival with checking in process. The lounge with coffee & tea and relaxation areas was very nice. Only comment would be proxy to highway, need ear plugs for sleeping if your a light sleeper.

Campground appears to be pretty new. Small but clean bath/shower rooms. Camp store has very small selection. Nice walking area

It was very clean. Set up was easy and quick. The owner was amazing and helpful. I recommend this KOA highly and will stay again if we are in the area.

We had a reservation, but the new camper we have has a VERY low rear end and the entrance was questionable and I couldn't risk it. The manager was very understanding and issued a full refund. Proof there are still slot of good people still.

While traveling from CO to FL, I stopped at the KOA Journey in Montgomery AL. It was an after hours check‐in, the camp manger Gary was very pleasant and super helpful with the check in process. He quickly showed to my campsite for the night and answered all of my questions. The KOA Journey has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and more importantly the restrooms are clean and the showers are hot.
