This KOA was amazing. The owners are so personal and friendly. They met us late due to some snags/issues in our travel making our arrival well over 4 hours late. The campground was so well maintained and managed and the amenities were amazing. The bathrooms were very clean and the laundry room & machines well kept. They saw to it that we had everything we needed during our stay.

Very nice pool, sites, and shower house. The owners are wonderful! There is a little path to walk around the little lake. I would 100% stay here again.

Wow what a wonderful place to stay. Mena journey has something for everyone. Huge concrete full hook up spots. Super shady spots, newly refurbished swimming poo, new playground and a dog park. The new owners are auper accommodating. They have cabins, tent camping. Fishing lake, canoes, paddle boats etc. such a nice place to stay for a week or just an overnight stop. We come here to ATV ride.

Campground has much improvement since our last stay, it was Shadow Mt at that time. The owners are friendly and nice, easy yo talk with, very helpful as I broke a tie rod and Christy put me in touch with the right people. We will return, best campground in the area.

The staff set us up with our site upon our our late arrival. This was a tremendous help, especially after a long day of driving. Greatly appreciated.

Stayed prior to it being a KOA and it was a DUMP. The new owners are great, very friendly, very helpful. The park is beautiful.

Very nice park, great facilities, clean bathrooms, nice well taken care of pool, fishing pond, (catch and release) if you ride SXS’s they have a wash station, they have a store at office with some things if you forget if not Walmart 6 miles down the road, ice onsite. Awesome hosts they are there to help I. Any way to make you stay more comfortable.

This is the first time that we have stayed at a KOA. We have seen them before out west but never stayed. This experience at the KOA in Mena was great. We liked the overall layout but what we liked the most was the great attitude of the staff. They were always happy to see us and very helpful. We will definitely stay at this KOA in the future and plan to check out more locations.

Absolutely beautiful! Well maintained and easy to get to. Bathrooms are pristine! A hug swimming pool & a peaceful meadow that overlooks a large, stocked pond! We’ve been traveling for two years and this is by far one of our very favorite places! Christi & Benjamin are our favorite people! They’re friendly, helpful and thoughtful. They go the extra mile to help! Thank you! We’ll be back!

This was our 2nd stay. We were pleased when we saw the concrete pads down by the pond. We enjoyed our stay and exploring the area again. We will be back the next time our summer trip brings us this way. The owners are super nice, we enjoyed our time spent with them.

Spent a night at the lake cabin, it was awesome and fit all of our needs with two dogs and a mother in law! Very quiet and beautiful campsite with large pond to enjoy the sounds is nature

I loved the passion of the owner. Very friendly and making improvement every day. Bathrooms very nice and very clea. Atv rentals and trails is a plus and the property is in a beautiful forest.

The hosts are so friendly and welcoming! They loaned us an item we needed for our camp without question. Gave us lots suggestions of activities around the area. The campsites are clean and spacious. Lots of trees. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Highly recommend a stay here!

It was spacious, with trees - well kept! A little lake/pond to walk around.....I so enjoyed my stop over after a week at a concrete RV resort! Also it was gated so I felt safe as a solo traveler.

Our stay was fantastic. Wonderful campground and we had a very level and spacious site. All the staff were friendly, informative, and a pleasure to deal with. We well definitely return here for, hopefully, a much longer stay. So many things to do in the area makes this a must return trip. Thanks to Mena/Ouachita KOA for a great experience.

The Park is absolutely beautiful! The Staff and Owners are so nice and helpful. From our level site we could see the lake. It's very quiet and safe. We enjoyed our stay. The Park is very clean and the pool looks very nice. What a joy to stay in the area at such an amazing Park.

We loved everything about our deluxe cabin stay at the Mena KOA. Online reservations were easy, and follow-up communications were really nice. The cabin was roomy, fully stocked and even nicer than the pictures portrayed. A bonus was that we were able to sit in the rockers on the porch and watch the geese on the pond. The staff was super friendly and helpful!

KOA staff are always friendly and helpful but the staff at KOA Mena went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were planning to stay at the State Park on the mountain but with the wind and weather coming in we needed to find a different location. I called KOA at 6pm and they took care of us. She was waiting for us at the gate to let us in when we arrived. Top notch service!

We were going to stay a couple of nights and decided to stay a whole month! The owners, Christi and Benjamin went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and fun! It’s a beautiful, quiet, well maintained, gated community with so many fun things to do and see close by! There’s a beautiful lake close by too! I’d definitely recommend to families and anyone that loves the outdoors!

We had an Excellent stay. Kristy and staff were so accommodating and made our time very enjoyable. We had gathered for a reunion with friends we had not seen in 34 years and the cabin we were assigned had issues with something scented. It was so bad that my wife and I were not going to be able to stay, but they made all the open cabins available. Thank you all for your kindness and understanding.

Hands down the best KOA, and we’ve stayed at 24 this month alone!!! Site was amazing, on the lake. Neighbors were friendly and hospitable. Hosts simply know what they are doing.

Great rest stop in an out of the way location. Pool is on site, laundry as well. The woman running this KOA sets the example for good service.

Had a great experience at this resort. We bought camp would at the front office and Mr ben delivered it to our camp spot on a golf cart! They have a shop with a welder that I used to fix my sons atv at no cost. Honestly the best camping experience I've had and we've been all over with our rv. Big nice RV spots for big campers and nice shaded spots for smaller camper it is a must go place! Quiet time after 10pm through 7am but as long as your being respectful on your ATVs you can come in late as you want. We had a blast and will definitely be going back to stay!

The owners are definitely in the top 5 nicest people i have ever met , from the booking to helping us find things and suggestions of what to do and places to go . My 13 year old daughter said that it is a 5 star resort ! We have stayed at lots of Airbnb and several KOA's and this was definitely in the top 5 but the owners pushed it over to the # 1 ! Definitely recommend 10out of 10 ! Absolutely will be back ! Very clean , safe , amazing play area for kids and nice pool . Sad we didn't make time for the lake but will next time !
