Hugely popular with ATV riders is the Wolf Pen Gap Trails. The system offers 41 miles of looping trails that are connected to accommodate riders who want to vary the length of their trips. Trails range from easy to most difficult and wind through some of the most rugged and secluded areas of the Ouachita National Forest.

"Designated routes will be open seasonally from the first Friday of March each year through October 31. Two holiday periods will open the trail system to OHV use from 3 days prior to Thanksgiving through 2 days after Thanksgiving and Decemeber 22 through January 2."

New Amenities: During the dry period, crews extended the boat ramp, renovated the parking area, and added a courtesy dock. They also placed dozens of "Georgia cubes" (artificial fish habitats) and brush piles on the lake bed to improve the fishery.
