We did like the location on the lake. We were able to rent a pontoon boat for a cruise around the lake right onsite. The food was excellent( I had a turkey club sandwich) Oh, and the ice cream was fantastic ( I had a Heath Lizzard ) Everyone of the Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’ll definatly be back.

Friendly greeting, escorted me to the campsite. Store was open and food available. Great wifi connection. Super clean shower and bathroom facility, thank you.

We absolutely loved it! The site was great with the fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and flat concrete pads. The view of the lake was nice, and the marina and deck on the water were great! Beautiful landscaping, delicious burgers, and super friendly and helpful staff. Would absolutely recommend - 2 thumbs up!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Marion KOA. The sites were large, the bathrooms were immaculate, and the staff was incredibly kind. The owner Micah is wonderful! My entire family enjoyed the stand up paddle boards, canoes, and inflatable waterpark. Be sure to enjoy a pizza and a milkshake from their restaurant! This is your "sign" to book with Micah and his family for a great trip!

The site was very wide and had perfectly functional hookups. Staff were very friendly and we had a very nice stay. The best thing about our lake view site was the fact that it got shade in the afternoons. There really wasn't much view of the lake, but given there are no trees anywhere in the RV areas, it was a nice bonus to be near the private property's tree line. Hence 4 stars rather than 5.

Just overnight. The camp host was wonderful. The sites are extremely open and close to each other. There isn’t any privacy. The site wasn’t worth the $85.

Kecia and reception were great! The hook ups were easy for our RV. Dog run was great- gate used rocks to keep it closed. The bounce pad that was supposed to be open all weekend, wasn’t open Sunday. The bathrooms were never busy, but had air fresheners masking bathroom smell not too well. Pizza was good and quick. Drinks were good. Waterpark was lots of fun, but an additional (discounted) pr

The most easy way to put it is to say we didn't want to leave. Our stay was for five nights and it just wasn't long enough. Everything was great and couldn't have been any better. We have stayed at a lot of camp grounds over the years and I would rate this one above five. Thanks again for everything. Bob Fleckenstein

Before I booked this campground I called. I asked about the swimming. I was told there was a beach and a waterpark and I asked if I had to pay extra and she said no that it was free for those who were camping there. That was not the case. I would’ve never booked a campground where my kids couldn’t swim every day unless I paid an extra $50-100. Also, garbage was never picked up.. Disappointed

For a new KOA, these guys are doing great. So much for kids to do including a swim park! Peaceful sunsets and great staff. Good job! Keep up the good work.

Everything was perfect. The campground is neat clean , a beautiful location and great services , like trash pickup . The snack shop is really top notch. Great food and drinks . Gift shop has anything you would need or want. Can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely spectacular KOA ! The sites are amazing ! The views are perfect and the amenities are spot on ! Spectacular bar with virgin drinks for kids as well as great mixers for adults ! Table tennis ! Shuffle board ,bags, fire pit area ! Good size water park for a reasonable price ! Boat and jet ski rentals on site .. also dozens of cabins for rent which are stunning and the best tent sites

Too far away from main highways and not really a park for kids. No railings on docks and very rustic any! Better for weekender residents. I level lots but clean for the big RVers.

Our hosts, Corey and Kecia were incredibly friendly, inviting and accommodating.! Everything at the campsite itself worked perfectly. The bathhouse on the women’s side was the only disappointment. The larger stall showerhead didn’t work the smaller stall with the rain head seem to run out of hot water. We talked to Kecia about these things and she said she would make note. Overall, we loved it

Very friendly staff food is excellent nice for kids play ground and water park with nice discount when camping here park is landscaped and groomed neatly the needs for the campground is a check in booth at the main entrance no room to take big rigs down to check in Big Thanks to Mike was very helpful!

If I could rate this KOA higher than 5 stars and a 10 I certainly would. The owners and staff are nothing less than amazing! We were treated just like family and can't believe how friendly everyone was. The site we had was without a doubt one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. We've been all across the US and I can't think of one place that is comparable. We will be back for sure!

I am rating it low only because of the costs, I would not go back for that reason. $100 a night, not worth it and the food/beverage cost on site was way too high! The campground it's self was clean but NO shade and all rock. Check in was awesome, we were greeted as we pulled into the campground and escorted to our site and all needed information was provided to us at that time. All staff was nice!

Great gem we stumbled upon. Best koa we have stayed at they are added amazing things for all. They do need to work on the the gravel parking and I’m sure they are going to brand knew to koa as of April. Met the owners great people. They have a kitchen and small service bar. Wonderful country store and we even rented a boat for a couple hours from big worms rides right at the resort. 5 stars �

This KOA was excellent! I would highly recommend this place to anyone with kids! We brought out 14 and 10 year old kids and they played nonstop. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We rented a pontoon and wave runners from Big Worm. He made the rental process easy and quick! Would definitely recommend 100 % ���

The place was immaculate! The scenery was fantastic! The owner was down to earth and super friendly and helpful. Our only regret was that we were only able to stay one night! Great place!!

Staff was very friendly, everything was very clean, and plenty of entertainment for the kids. Our only complaint was no shade at the campsites. Heat index was over 100 all 4 days we were there. We were miserable and our air wouldn't keep up. Other than that I would give 5 stars!

No free place to swim the swim beach that you have to pay to get into is gross. Also swim time is limited and the facilities smell awful.

So much fun! Clean and well maintained. Live music. Great store with amazing ice cream and pizza. Walk to boat rentals. Close to various beautiful hikes. A must stop campground if you are in Illinois.

Campsites are large concrete pads very nicely done. The camp store with the restaurant, the best ice cream I’ve ever had and the full espresso bar was the best KOA store I’ve ever been in. And all the staff the most welcoming & nicest hosts. Great location on Lake of Egypt.

Really nice area and very friendly staff. Lot's of fun activities for the kids and they have created a nice vibe up by the general store, the restaurant and the cabins. My only complaint is the distance from the camper parking to the store and water front and the lack of trees for shade. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would stay again.

Very nice stay. Great hosts and owners greeted us and gave us the background on the park. Enjoyed a day on Lake Egypt in a pontoon boat. Highly recommend!

Great premium sites. Excellent staff. Plenty of outdoor activities all around especially water sports. Wonderful food choices and even a burger bar. Great family fun.
