Nice stay and amenities. a little cramped down by the office and the fact that a road passes through the campground for local traffic makes it a little less than Ideal. the sights being all gravel less than perfect. but sights were spacious and easy to get into. the sight is well maintained and facilities were great. We liked it.

It was a beautiful camp site, but half of the amenities were closed. Internet didn’t work and food was limited. It is of course okay that there are off season but that was not reflected in price.

We had a very relaxing visit. The views were wonderful, the campground was very well kept and the staff was great.

The owner was very helpful while we stayed there. He helped with a hose leak on our popup camper and was always quick to respond to a call to request help or firewood. He really seems to love what he does.

Very friendly staff, very clean, beatiful atmosphere! The camping sites our nice size! Love the beatiful waterfalls through out the camp sites! The shower house is very clean! We love camping at Egyptian Hills! The food is great! They have a huge water park with a floating dock if you want to order food and eat on the water! Great place check it out!

It was great that we were able to rearrange our days due to cold weather. However, the TV did not work. When we needed something from the office several phone calls had to be made. I know it is the beginning of the season but it was annoying that we had a hard time reaching anyone until our second day. Wouldn't stay until summer to avoid these problems .

We would like to see more places to put garbage. Either a more convienent placement of the dumpster or placing the garbage at the end of the site for pickup. Other than that no problems. This was our third stay and we will be back.

First impression when entering cabin #20 was cute, clean, comfortable. Until we opened bathroom door! Someone FORGOT to flush the toilet. Not just yellow water, but major BM. Flushed it several times, used edge of plunger to Scrape excess off side ( no toilet brush available). Used our sanitary wipes to clean it up before using. Disgusting! Would have been a 5 rating, but that was unacceptable.

Very nice campground, owners have made investments in many RV camping amenities including concrete pads, patios, sunshades, gazebos and more. We will definitely return!

We stayed in an upper RV site during the off season. We couldn't have been happier with the location, the site, the staff. In fact it's hard to find a non-positive thing to say about this park. We can't wait to come back for a summer getaway!!

Was just stopping off, and found it to be beautiful! Friendly and helpful, very nice. We got it just before the food closed and we thought we’d miss out, but our host ordered our pizza and brought it to us while we set up . Wonderful experience!

The Micha and his Camp Hosts Kecia and Cory were phenomenal. They go above and beyond to make your stay incredible. the sites are comfortable and well maintained! It was the relaxing break we needed.

Loved the park. It was centrally located to most Shawnee Forest sites. The hosts and owners were gracious and very accomodating. We would love to come back to take advantage of the lake and water park!

We had a wonderful spot at #5. Very quiet since it was in October at the end of the season and in the middle of the week.

Arrived after hours but finding our site was easy. We thought the free kayak and paddle board rentals were great, and we used them extensively. The game deck was also a good time. Overall a great place, looking forward to coming back.

The best KOA I have stayed in . Super clean the host was extremely helpful and very nice the person at the boat rental also very nice . Best shakes made there and pizza

The owners and workers of this KOA have thought of everything. There was so much to do and enjoy their that one week was not enough. Everything was clean and the staff was extremely courteous. I would recommend this campground to anyone. Its location is great because you are near so many outdoor activities and small quaint Illinois towns. We can't wait to join them again.

The camp hosts are so friendly and helpful. We got the chance to meet the owner while refilling, you can tell he genuinely loves the campground & it shows - The property is beautiful and well maintained. We had a great time with our neighbors & will definitely be back. Thank you for a great trip!

The camp ground was a crushed gravel parking lot. I was supposed to have a view of the water, but instead had a view of people’s houses (that did not show up on the map at all). I found another campground instead of staying a second night. It seems like this place only exists for families to camp during the summer and play at the small beach. It doesn’t have any connecting trails to anyw

We had a very good time at this KOA. the hosts are very attentive and friendly and helpful. The campground sites are level and located well. The roads from the main highway to the campground are very rough and in some places narrow. Overall we would definitely go back to this campground again.

This place is a hidden gem, offering a serene escape from the chaos of daily life. The wooded surroundings and peaceful atmosphere create the perfect setting for relaxation. Spotting wildlife was a lovely bonus. The pond for fishing and array of summer equipment, including kayaks and paddleboards, are fantastic perks. The staff's exceptional service truly makes all the difference.
