This site is really showing its age as evidenced by their award flag in tatters on the flag pole. The people working here are great they provide good activities. The place could really use some fresh yellow paint and a few hours repairing some of the electrical stands and the dump site plumbing. It appears that there was originally grass around the various campsites but now only dirt remains,

Best KOA experience to date! The spaces are perfect for a larger rig like ours, which is much appreciated. We loved the nightly events that were planned which made for a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Showers needed more attention. Campsites were clean. Hot tub was foamy. 35+ kids in pool one afternoon. Glass bottles were visible in pool area, despite signage to contrary. Easy and hospitable check in process.

The location was convenient and welcoming, with clean showers and restrooms that were very much appreciated by all. While the rental RV’s provide a cozy set up, a few updates could enhance the experience; the table cushions look a bit worn and the flooring felt uneven. With a little attention to these details this spot could even be more perfect for future gatherings. We stayed at 57A.

First time here. We stayed in a RV Trailer. The furnace worked intermittently. First two days worked fine, last day only cool air. Floor in front of bathroom extremely soft. Thought we were going to fall thru the flooring each time we stepped on it. The rest of the trailer was good. Trailer rocked a bit when 'ANY' movement occurred. Sitting or waking. But overall was fine! We will return..

We had a great stay, however, people really need to pick up after their dogs. Stepped in poop it’s not a good thing when you realized you stepped in it after you walk inside you trailer.

Always a very pleasant place to stay. Wish it would have been a little warmer though. My granddaughter had a great time riding her bike and going with us to the beautiful beach. Staff was efficient and friendly as always!

We stayed in a camper trailer. It was really nice inside but the bed was horrible. It felt like sleeping on a marshmallow mattress. Other than that the place was great and the employees were excellent. We met Guy and he was so nice. We even invited him to come eat with us but he couldn't. He did stop by and make sure we had everything we needed.

This location was next to impossible to get to. There was no indication that my travels there would take 3x as long as it should due to the treacherous and nearly impassible road conditions. The average speed though the switch backs on hwy 1 was at most 25mph. The campground itself was fine but we only stayed overnight and it took so long to get there that we didn’t enjoy any amenities

A very nice KOA - an 'Old School" camping feel to it. Spacious sites, friendly staff. The drive in and out to the campground can be a challenge. The Long and winding road, but take your tame and enjoy. We stopped at Fort Bragg on the way in.

Great front desk. Lots of facilities but everything looks old. How about new paint, new signs ? Need to identify directions with numbered rows. How about a jumper for kids. Everything clean but you feel this is an old park !!!

What a great campground!!! A bit of a trek to get there, but worth it. Staff was great, clean, well kept. Manchester beach itself doesn’t allow dogs, so that’s disappointing but that’s not anything to do with the KOA. Lots of amenities. Would highly recommend and will be back.

We had a fantastic time. Just being there is the fog, under the trees was lovely. Our dog enjoyed the dog park and our teens loved walking around the grounds and to the beach, and grabbing a snack at the store. Your employees are very welcoming and we look forward to coming again.

We love the access to the beach. The kids love the pool. We liked having the ice cream social and the community camp fire.

It is a nice place but WAY TOO DUSTY!!!!! As much as it costs to stay there you’d think they could oil the roads or SOMETHING! This year we had problems with neighbors loudly partying until all hours of the night. I know you go to have fun but after 10pm you should have some consideration for your neighbors. Been coming there for 25 yrs. Not sure we will come back.

Great destination for a family, but also Senior friendly. Sites were very spacious and level. Interior roads were tight in spots, but doable. Lots of activities for kids but as a Senior, we had no issues with rowdy kids. If you can get here, you won’t be sorry! We travel in a 43’ 5th wheel and Hwy 1 is not for the faint of heart! Probably won’t be doing it again with a big rig!

The campground was dirt but ok. Lots of things for kids to do…we didn’t have any, but I get it for families. The disappointment was that there was very weak cell service and the camp charged $10 for 12 hrs to use their WiFi…should have been included for a KOA, especially with very weak cell service. Also, the ice cream social, at $3 a small scoop, seemed like more of a fund raiser than a so

It was nice but the cleaning staff needs improvements. Bathrooms were not cleaned and stocked with supplies, right after the finished cleaning. When reported the person in office said “well I don’t know”.

Great place but EXTREMELY noisy at night. No one enforced rule of quiet after 10:00pm. There were two groups of at least 20 people next to us. They didn’t all stay at the same site but gathered there at night. Should have been in group camping area. I don’t mind people having fun, that’s why we’re there but quite time needs to be enforced. We won’t be returning.

We stayed one night in a cabin while traveling. Bathroom facilities were clean and well kept. The grounds were nicely kept and the hosts were kind and very friendly. If our travels take us into that area again we will absolutely consider stopping…

We really enjoyed the heated pool, playgrounds, and riding bikes around the campgrounds. The beach was also very close to bike to on the paved road or to hike to on the trail directly from the campground. It was quiet and the camp staff were excellent. The only downside was that the arcades in the game room are broken and will eat your money and the laundry has limited dryers due to broken equip.

Manchester KOA was clean and very well kept. Spacious tent sites and beach access. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

We had a a blast! The grounds and amenities were clean. The frisbee golf was awesome. The heated pool and only hot tub was the best part! The bathrooms went without toilet paper a couple of times only early in the AM which was interesting. In my newly awake state, TP was not on my radar until required. A seasonal cafe would be nice when families are too tired after a long beach hike to grill

The bathrooms are not cleaned daily, mold growing on wood paneling in some bathrooms, very wet and dirty. They put in rubber mats but it’s just squishy gross. Tent spot had large roots on grassless area and we couldn’t use grass area bc of the huge ruts/ rolling land. No free wifi. Over priced for tent camping.

We rolled in very late & Angie was so helpful. We had been driving all day & were unable to find a motel. Lucky for us, we found this KOA. We ended up sleeping in our car but, having a safe place to sleep was our top priority. It helped that we were able to get a shower (which was great BTW) & some fresh, hot AND delicious coffee before we got back on the road. Everyone there was GREAT!!!

The site was clean the staff was friendly and helpful. My kids loved all the activities that were put on by the staff especially the ice cream stand, unfortunately one of my children is allergic to dairy but she loves the sugar cone, and the staff was nice enough to give her one, so she was included. Thanks KOA we will be back.

This is about the best KOA I've ever seen. I've been coming here for several years off and on. Don't miss Oktoberfest near the end of October. ✌🏻

Outstanding destination. Our motorcycle group stayed here two years in a row and had an outstanding experience each time. The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. From this area you have access to some of northen California's most beautiful roads.🏍 It was a perfect location to call home base for the long Memorial Day weekend. You also can't beat the many amenities available at this location, including a pool/hot tub, clean bathrooms/ showers and firewood delivered right to your site!

This KOA RV park is one of the better ones we've stayed at. Off the bat, we had solid good Wi-fi even at heavy use time in the evening. To me, it definitely rates as KOA Resort level. Very kid friendly. Activities over memorial day wknd included hay rides, kereoke. Family kitchen for those who are tent camping. Lots were rather large covered in old growth Coastal Cypress. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Lots are covered in plenty of maintained grass. Beach a mile by foot or car. They have cabins but I didn't visit those.
