Lincoln West is in a convenient location for travelers, situated near major highways and offering easy access to nearby towns and cities. The SpeedyMart gas station across the highway provides a convenient stop for refueling. Additionally, visitors can explore the local towns of Milford and Seward for small business shopping opportunities before heading into the city of Lincoln, which is located 20 miles to the east. This setup provides a balance of rural charm and urban convenience for travelers passing through the area.
Thornridge Golf Course is a two-level layout course. This 9-hole course has a winding creek that crosses four fairways, with difficult blind shots on the bi-level holes and the midsize greens are full and smooth.

At the Nebraska National Guard Museum in Seward, their mission is to collect, access, preserve, store, account for, demilitarize and value historical artifacts and records for training, development and interpretation of the Nebraska Army and Air National Guard and the State of Nebraska military history and heritage of its Citizen-Soldiers and Airmen. The Bartels Museum is home to more than 75 displays of minerals, agate, fossils and rocks. Specimens from all over the world include a collection of agate butterflies, soapstone, cork and jade carvings, an inlaid rock mosaic table top, a set of animals carved in onyx, a fluorescent mineral display and a bison skull. Quality specimens of quartz, selenite, fluorite, calcite crystals and valuable display of Brazilian amethyst. Open during library hours. The Marxhausen Gallery of Art promotes cultural experiences through displays of regional and nationally acclaimed exhibits. The gallery also houses the Koenig Collection, a permanent collection of more than 300 works of art by some of the most influential national and international artists of the last 100 years.
