My husband and I stayed at Lake Tahoe KOA. We arrived 30 minutes before the check-in time and were able to check in quickly. Staff was super friendly and they were able to take us to our camp site without any issue. Restrooms and showers were super clean. No issues throughout our stay at all. Will look to visit again soon!

We were able to make reservations a couple weeks out. IWhen we arrived the staff were awesome. They were helpful with hike locations and were very friendly. Our spot was amazing. We car camping with a tent attached. Tent sites are away from RVs, which I love. Our spot was overlooking the river. We loved this camping location so much we already booked another trip for July!

The place doesn’t have a bear box, so you have to carry everything in and out of your car. They had activities but overpriced for what they did. The staff doesn’t really do anything besides stare at you instead of saying good morning or asking if you need anything. Overall okay. Find a better place or same for a better price.

Friendly, clean and easy overnight stay. I wouldn’t recommend this camp site for longer stays due to being so close to the highway, very loud. Overall I was happy and so were the dogs.

Very old campground next to noisy road. Roads in campground are difficult to maneuver. Windy roads with large boulders throughout. We would not stay again. Dumpsters overflowing. Not worthy of a KOA designation.

Nice park. The person at checkout (Vivian?) was very helpful with an issue I had with my rewards. The staff was very accommodating.

When we checked in, the front desk girl was very polite and helpful with the questions I had. The manager was so sweet and made sure we didn’t need anything else once we got to the actual site. I got the vibe this is family-ran, and they all were very invested into making sure we enjoyed our stay, which was amazing!

Bathrooms and showers are great! WiFi could be stronger. Road noise from nearby highway is an issue. Close to SLT things to do. Love the ice and propane delivery! Will come back with an RV next time.

Everything was clean and tidy. Loved the campground. Only wish was better quality toilet paper. It felt like the paper towels.

I am very happy with the lot assigned to us. Lot 366. It is close to the creek and have the amenities needed for our stay. The service was great, and we are grateful for your hospitality.

The staffs are very efficient and everything went smoothly from check in until check out. Facility is very clean including pool, bathroom and shower.

Weve been camping with KOA across California since 2014,this is our 2nd time camping on this location.We are in our 30s-40s camping with our kids&our parents. Despite assuring staff in a calm manner that we will be keeping quiet,staff continued yelling at us at past10pm, “Im not here to argue. I’m just reminding you.If u don’t want to comply, I’ll call the sheriff&get u all out of MY campg

I really enjoyed the environment let alone the nice little creek just behind our campsite. What was most amazing was how friendly the workers and owners are, and how they are on top of keeping the ground very clean and attentive.

Needs a better dishwashing station because of the difficulty in mixing hot and cold water. The facets are fixed and not adjustable so you either get icy cold water or scalding hot water. Also, bear boxes are needed at the tent camping sites if the bears are stated to be in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. We camped at site 361 text site. We had 3 days of very different weather. Hot, crazy wind, rain and snow. The windy day while sitting at our site a tree fell across the creek. Crazy!

The camp site was beautiful and quite. The truckee river running next to camp was so peaceful. The bathroom and showers always clean. All the employees went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

We tent camped. Being near the creek was lovely. Paying almost $200 for a cramped small site was not. We also paid extra for a “grass” tent pad but there was no grass at all.

We had a great stay. Were there over Memorial Day 3 day weekend tenting. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Super nice. Greeted us like family (which is why we continue to stay at KOAs when we travel) Place was clean, bathrooms well kept and clean, store had all we needed. Def recommend it if you camping through the area. Thanks!

It is a lovely campground, but they do seem to have a problem with bears. They have installed bear proof garbages, but there are still the odd regular garbage cans that provide a bear buffet in the night. As a tenter I would apprecciate bear bins.

We arrived late during the night. Check in was smooth and issue free. Bathrooms are clean with plenty of hot water. Camp store has many of the supplies in case you forgot something. Overall an excellent stay. Camp staff is very friendly and always will to provide a helping hand.

I was not aware of bears in the area of my KOA. I am fine with bear camping, if I know ahead of time. When I arrived, the host alerted me not to sleep in my care due to recent breaking by bears. He said a tent would be safer. I was not prepared to sleep in a tent. No provision was made for the safe keeping of food, like a bear box. The garbage dumpster was bear proof. Why weren’t the tent sites?

The camp managers are wonderful and very accommodating. They made our stay very pleasant and I would definitely come back. If you plan on camping here be aware that we are in Tahoe and bears come with the territory and are very important to the ecosystem with that noted we did have a bear come into the campsites at night, and the staff are very good at scaring them off and making people feel safe.

This KOA has wonderful trees, a little stream running by the back of the property, spotless bathrooms and a very friendly staff. We stayed in a tent site near the back of the property and enjoyed the privacy. This is a much nicer place than the typical RV-parking-lot KOA. There is some noise from highway 50 but it gets a lot quieter in the evening.

The location is pretty ideal despite the tent sites being next to a heavy traffic road. However, it is badly maintained. There are a lot of dead trees which is a fire hazard, there was never any soap in the bathroom and they were regularly out of toilet paper, the showers were badly situated and gross. Overall fine for a camp site, but not nearly up to the KOA standard.

Quiet and peaceful if you get the right campsite had a wonderful time and the host were so helpful and nice the creek was very nice and close to a dog friendly kiva beach 15 minutes away without the crowd.zephyr was dog friendly 2 and a little nicer not easy when you have 2 dogs but this is the itinerary fallen leaf lake had a hidden dock if you parked in the dirt also seen echo lake on the PCT

I stayed the nights of July 12th and 13th, and departed on the 14th. Both mornings, the women's restroom was either out of toilet paper (in one to two of the 3 stalls) and out of paper towel on one of the days. Also, my camp rug had been taken from my campsite, which I discovered missing the night of the 13th when I returned from my family reunion. It had been taken from my campsite.
