We were here 2 years ago and greeted with a very enthusiastic team. I believe they were new owners/managers. They were very eager to improve the grounds and make our stay wonderful. We returned this week and happy to see the same friendly, enthusiastic team. The improvements look great and they continue to work at making it even better. We love the quiet, quaint park on the Echo Creek.

When we checked in the people at the desk were super friendly and the guy that led us to our campsite in his little golf cart was also very super friendly. it's a little compact and maybe people with a large camper might be concerned but we were in a tent and we thoroughly enjoyed our campsite. Bathroom next to our tent site was very clean. Pool was very well kept and clean. Thank you!

Clean, friendly, easy access and nice surroundings. A bit expensive but if you want to stay in the Tahoe area all other RV parks are as high.

The spot was terrible, in full sun at the front of the park. There was very little privacy between the people surrounding us and the cars driving by all hours of the night. For the cost of a hotel I was very disappointment in this KOA.

This KOA needs to post their signage out on the highway, not in the campground entry. I chose a patio site but wasn’t pleased that it had a rock preventing us from parking closer to the patio.

first off let me state I had a medical emergency the third day of our stay the staff were simply wonderful they were helpful and made us feel that special feeling of home at the KOA that normaly you would not feel. i wish I had the ability to grant the a raise! There constant checking on us we are over 75 and they were aware that we might need a hand THEY WERE THAT HAND.

My husband and I stayed at Lake Tahoe KOA. We arrived 30 minutes before the check-in time and were able to check in quickly. Staff was super friendly and they were able to take us to our camp site without any issue. Restrooms and showers were super clean. No issues throughout our stay at all. Will look to visit again soon!

The checking staff was great, helpful and courteous. The wooded site we had was tight and uneven. The activities were fun but didn’t always match the schedule. The nightly price was almost the highest we have paid at a KOA. Certainly the highest we paid for that kind of site.

Clean and well kept, which is always the KOA standard. Located right on Highway 50 which is well travelled, so there was a lot of road noise until later in the evening each night. The staff was very helpful, including the maintenance team who helped us back in to a very tricky spot. Thank you!

Stayed a couple of days. Nice facilities and staff. Some road noise from the highway. Very wooded and a nice stream beside some campsites. I would definitely go back.

THE COST PER NIGHT IN OUR RV WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE WE'VE EVER PAID FOR A KOA CAMPSITE. THE STAFF WERE HELPFUL AND VERY FRIENDLY, THE FACILITIES WERE KEPT CLEAN AND THE POOL, THOUGH SMALL WAS VERY NICE AND HEATED PERFECTLY. WE HAD A WONDERFUL FAMILY TIME

Super nice staff. Very helpful. Bathrooms were about average for a KOA. They were kept clean. The only things I did not like was a lot of road noise and the really cool campsites by the water said no RV’s.

It’s my absolutely first time to go with a RV and Lake Tahoe was the first stop after picking up this - at least for me - big car. So I felt really safe and secure at your place to get familiar with the new situation. The staff where so helpful in any situation. Thank you so much���I’ll stay with KOA for the rest of my journey!

We have stayed here in the past. While the location and amenities are terrific, for a visit to Lake Tahoe, they are second only to the staff. They are attentive and helpful in every way. It’s a pleasure to visit a park where the people who run it are just as good as the place you are visiting. It makes the stay that more special.

The only issue was the shower knobs. They stick out so far, I kept hitting my elbows on them and that hurt. I tried not too, but there wasn't much room to turn around. I am not a large person, 5'5" and 140 pounds. It would be nice if you replaced those knobs with shorter ones.

The couple that was running the campground were very friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful spot we loved by the river. It was tight to get into and the gentleman that was working there helped us navigate getting into the spot. He was awesome and made it easy.

We were able to make reservations a couple weeks out. IWhen we arrived the staff were awesome. They were helpful with hike locations and were very friendly. Our spot was amazing. We car camping with a tent attached. Tent sites are away from RVs, which I love. Our spot was overlooking the river. We loved this camping location so much we already booked another trip for July!

It was so beautiful it looked untouched. The creek behind the campground was beautiful. There was only one annoying thing, and it was all the aunt hills that were everywhere on our campsite and throughout the campground

Overall great experience - cabin was nice and clean, friendly staff especially lady at the store. Few issues: No wifi signal in delux cabin. Master bedroom door doesn’t close - it should have a sliding door. While good but for the price ~500 per night, highly overpriced .

Staff was so helpful getting us into our spot. I saw that they were escorting everyone to their sites and making sure that they got parked as well. The facilities were nice and clean and pool was nice as well. Would recommend!

We asked to look at other available spots and found one right on the creek. The staff did an amazing job on directing our trailer in there. Very nice managers.

The office staff were the best, very helpful. It was expensive but then again I guess all of Tahoe is. Difficult to level. Other than that we enjoyed it.

The place doesn’t have a bear box, so you have to carry everything in and out of your car. They had activities but overpriced for what they did. The staff doesn’t really do anything besides stare at you instead of saying good morning or asking if you need anything. Overall okay. Find a better place or same for a better price.

We needed assistance on Sunday our last day there as we found out that the campground electrical plug was lose and had not been working. We called before 8:00 am and by the time we left at 9:00 or 9:30 no one had come to the campsite to assist us. Also the sign at the campgrounds said the office would be open periodically. I have never been to a KOA that had office hours “whenever.”

Very nice campground. The employees are very helpful and friendly. They are in the midst of upgrading the sites. Only about 15 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Beautiful creek runs past the campground.

Cabin clean & stocked but w/older features which worked fine. The issue was the location. The management were staying in RVs all around us and kept their lights on all night so we couldn't walk out to see stars. The adjacent cabins had employees as well and ours was between busy roads + pool closed & the main manager left in a puff when my spouse mentioned his husband- would not recommend this.

This was our sixth night Traveling across the country. Stayed here one night. Was one of the worst of our camp grounds and by far the most expensive camp ground we have ever stayed ($124 ) Camp sites have small broke tar pads not level, they are small and all dirt around the pad. However the showers and bathrooms were nice and clean. Booked online, my member discount was not added. Had to ask.

We arrived Sunday afternoon around 5pm. Our info was posted on the board, which was fine. What wasn’t fine was there was no reservation number or name on anything. The space number had been scratched out and we had no code for the restroom. I believe it was a bit early to close the office, and the information in our envelope was vague and without the restroom code. That needs to be fixed

The campground was not crowded and the sites near the river are nice. We felt it was very overpriced for being the first weekend in May. The store claimed winter hours and was closed when we were there but yet we were paid prime season rates. Half the rate we paid would have been more appropriate.

Extremely tight campground (but the guy in the office helped get us backed in). Signage is small and confusing (not used to looking to the left to see a stop sign). No set office hours during off season (wanted to purchase firewood and t-shirt). But they were always closed.

The campground was nice, rustic and quiet. Obviously was off season beginning of April. However the high price of 137$ night was insane when a storm hit and we had no power for 23 hours ! No compensation was offered , no one was communicating with us during our stay to inform us about the power outage. So staying 2 nights with only 6 hours of power was not cool.

Stayed for 3 nights, although it was early in the season, the open section of the campsite was in excellent condition. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were spotless and warm�. Highly recommend.

As a New Zealander visiting Lake Tahoe, this campground was exactly what I picture when I think of an iconic American family camping holiday. Staying in a Deluxe Cabin gave me the perfect balance of comfort and camping. It was clean, welcoming, and well-equipped—everything I needed for a relaxing family stay. What I'll remember most, though, is the setting. The smell of the pine trees was so fresh and distinctive that I know it will always remind me of this campground. Waking up amongst the towering trees and spending my days outdoors felt like a genuine escape from everyday life. My children absolutely loved their time here, especially exploring the creek, swimming in the pool, and playing on the playground. There was always something for them to do, and the campground struck a wonderful balance between being peaceful and family-friendly. Another thing I appreciated was how accessible and welcoming the managingfamily was. They were often around the campground, genuinely interested in making sure guests were enjoying their stay, and always happy to share recommendations or answer questions. It was clear they care deeply about the property, and I enjoyed hearing about some of the improvements and future plans they have for the campground. This was a wonderful introduction to camping in the Lake Tahoe area, and I'm already looking forward to staying again.

We first stayed here 2 years ago (and I believe it was under new ownership/management then). They were friendly, enthusiastic and intent on improving the place. We returned this week and we're happy to see the same friendly and enthusiastic team and the improvements they had made with more to come. The team was always present and working around the campground. The grounds and buildings were clean and well-kept. We loved our site (111). It accommodated our 37 ft 5th wheel and truck easily. Looking forward to returning.
