Very close to a busy street. Laundry facility was lacking. No way to get change to use the machines.Expensive for an off season stay. I would not return.

A beautiful campground! Very clean and friendly owners. The o ly downside is that it’s bordered by the highway so you hear traffic all the time. But that being said, we look forward to going back!

Stayed a few nights with a 1, 5 & 7 year old. Kids played outside from sun up to sun down. Very clean campground with plenty of outdoor features to keep them busy. Close enough to town to run out if you need supplies as well. Will be staying here again.

The couple that managed the campground was very friendly & helpful. The public facilities are kept clean. The location of the campground beside Highway 50 & all the traffic noise made our stay unpleasant. We stayed in Site 120 & if several small rocks were removed it would make for safer footing.

Absolutely lovely facility the surroundings and the camp itself are beautiful. The camp was clean. The employees were so nice one young man even went and ran and got my ice and brought it back for me. The camp was also located really in a great location. Love my stay

We love this campground. It can accommodate RVs with full hookups while keeping it "in the woods" with space away from other RVs. The family that runs the park is awesome. Especially their son. Always so helpful.

Nice clean cabin, staff os friend. Didnt like the fire ban but understandable considering currenr dry conditions. Cabin has noce bed and shower.

���� Sehr enttäuschend: extrem schiefer RV-Stellplatz, alte Duschen/WCs und sehr lauter Verkehrslärm. Für den hohen Preis absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Vor der Buchung unbedingt beachten! ���� Very disappointing: extremely uneven RV site, old showers/restrooms and very loud traffic noise. Definitely not worth the high price. Consider this before booking!

Beautiful setting in the wrong location as it sits too close to Hwy 50. If you are looking for a quiet location in nature, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

We arrived a little after 5 and the host was already gone. Went to do laundry and 5 of the 6 dryers weren't working. Since the office was closed, there wasn't a coin changer. I had to go ask other guests for change. When we left the next morning, still no host.

The team managing the Tahoe KOA are very personally engaged, communicative and responsive! From the friendly check in, to Joshua who helped me back into my spot, to the cleaning crew and Frank who made an excellent dinner recommendation in town!

We enjoyed our stay overall, but the traffic noise was terrible w/ many sites right against Hwy 50 & the RV sites were right on top of one another. The location is a good jumping off point for seeing the Lake Tahoe area but very expensive w/ resort fees & taxes. The staff we met one day (a man) was efficient but not very friendly. The staff on another day (a woman) was very welcoming & friendly.

My wife & I started coming here since 3 years ago and love staying at this KOA. Scenery is beautiful. Campground is clean. However I think the restroom needs to be cleaned more often. Management really helpful & nice. We already made our plans to stay for next year in September.

We enjoyed the camping experience. We were in site 204 in a camper, road noise wasn't an issue. Close to town.

Love Lake Tahoe KOA. Sites are great feels like you’re in a forest. The staff is a family of grandparents, children and grandchildren. They are very helpful and keep all the spaces very clean. I would recommend highly.

The whole family that runs the KOA is great. No one could ask for a more friendly and helpful group of people at a business. They make you not only want to come back, but to stay longer than you were is always very tempting. I wish all businesses had the same type of people running their business.

Very friendly people who work there, and it is a pretty area as well. A creek runs right next to the campsite and there are lots of shady spots under the pines. There is also a trail down from the campgrounds that has a picnic area, and is a great place to let your dogs off leash and play in the river. The cons are highway noise and the cost is pretty expensive.

Very unfriendly staf. We arrived at 1 pm, I booked the Campground online two hours before we arrived. I didn’t have a good internet connection so I didn’t read the welcome e-mail. When we arrived at the Campground a young lady was very impolite, she said: we don’t let anybody in before 3 o’ clock. We felt so not welcome, what a bad experience. On other Campgrounds the offices are open all

Being right next to hwy 50, it was a bit noisy. But it was nice to be amongst the pine trees and fresh air. The workers were friendly and the bathrooms were clean.

The Kia wiring was not comparable either our 2023 EKKO and caused secondary alarms on our vicktron. We thought we had a a problem with power and ended up leaving only to find out it was an issue at the camp site. The dog park is poorly kept and is smaller than a paw pen. Area needs attention for the prices charged and upgrade in wiring to be comparable with newer models.

The proximity to highway 50 unfortunately led to extremely loud traffic noise during the entire stay. The campground charged us extra to be near our friends even though we are both koa members and had paid a high price already to stay. Bees were swarming around every time we ate. A staff member was taking photos of our children without asking permission first which made us feel uncomfortable.

Awesome place. Just outside South lake. Great location, beautiful spots, creek running through the property. Only downfall, the dang freeway running right next to our spot. We will be back to try to get a spot closer to the creek.

If you and your kids aren't weirdo tablet people this is a great place to camp with the family. Very clean, spacious and plenty of outdoorsy stuff and nature to keep you preoccupied during your stay. We will be returning again.
