Overall great experience - cabin was nice and clean, friendly staff especially lady at the store. Few issues: No wifi signal in delux cabin. Master bedroom door doesn’t close - it should have a sliding door. While good but for the price ~500 per night, highly overpriced .

Cabin clean & stocked but w/older features which worked fine. The issue was the location. The management were staying in RVs all around us and kept their lights on all night so we couldn't walk out to see stars. The adjacent cabins had employees as well and ours was between busy roads + pool closed & the main manager left in a puff when my spouse mentioned his husband- would not recommend this.

Check in went smooth. Cabin was clean. Location was great. A little expensive, but it is Lake Tahoe after all.

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 501. Neet clean equipped very comfortable. Staff very helpful and courteous. Summary of cabin suggestions: Shower remove 2 sharp angle steel brackets Safety issue. Bedroom door modify to close or install accordion type. Large next to bedroom door shelf. Relocate to far corner wall Headbanger location Front porch upper wood rail. Loose Paul [email protected]

No internet at my site- and available on any of my devices…guest reception tried to help but for my 2 night stay never could connect//:/ maybe at the airtsream have a modem or hard wire

Nice campground with a beautiful running stream in the back. We stayed one night in the cabin with the kitchen which was very nice. Staff was friendly, and it was quiet.

We stayed at the Deluxe cabin and were very happy with different sleeping locations. Everyone felt spread out and had their own space and within this cute little cabin. We appreciated the full kitchen amenities and bathroom being a part of the cabin. Maybe in the future a hot spa/jacuzzi can be installed in the pool area to relax in after the long day. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The setting is beautiful. Right at the start of the South Lake Tahoe area. The cabin we stayed in was very quaint and rustic. All of the folks that work at the campground were very friendly and helpful. Great attitudes. Thank you all for an awesome experience.

Our stay at Lake Tahoe KOA was great overall. The staff was very accommodating when we arrived early due to our son feeling sick. The location is perfect with plenty of dining options that deliver. We had an electrical issue, but staff responded quickly, provided a propane heater, and even refunded our stay. Despite this, I’d highly recommend this KOA for its service and convenience.

We stayed in the cabin and loved having the cozy space during our winter getaway. There was fresh snow on the ground and we spent lots of time playing in the snow where the campsites are. My kids had fun in the playground. The cabin had most of the essentials we needed, and our check in/out was very easy. We will be back!

My family and I stayed here during the Halloween Bash from October 26-27. We had such an amazing time decorating the cabin, dressing up in our costumes, and decorating pumpkins! Registration went very smoothly and the staff were super accommodating and kind! Both the cabin and Airstream were very clean and well- decorated. The playground was great too! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Campground was nice and organized even though renovations are ongoing. Cabin is a nice size and well supplied. Table lamps would be a good addition. The cabin itself could use a deep clean, especially the table and chairs. Staff was friendly. Overall a very nice visit.

The owners are very attentive and made special arrangements for parking our group of trailers. Both cabins we stayed in were clean, had good amount of amenities and felt safe.

We stayed in a cabin. I booked a 2 bedroom sleeps 6. When we arrived we were placed in a cabin with loft. The cabin was dirty. Dead bugs in the window seals, microwave was not cleaned, fireplace had lots of ashes, screen door kept falling off when we opened it. Change your website to reflect the cabins you have, & Cleanliness should be a priority, no exceptions.

Super clean and nice rustic cabin. Bed was comfortable and with the bunks gave us lots of room for our luggage. We were on the edge of the grounds and it worked out perfect, nice and quiet. Staff was also very nice and helpful!

Staff was great and very helpful. Campsite was clean. Bathrooms are a bit dated but functional. Perhaps part of the revitalization effort? All in all good site and close to major activities.

We stayed in their cabin. It was clean and tidy. On check in we had a concern with the metal stairs and our dogs paws and within 20 mins it was taken care of. The team here is super friendly. The store well sppointed. Surrounded by natural beauty and close to most attractions. The KOA is under renovation but will be amazing when finished. Would definitely return. Thank you:)

There's a mouse living in the cabin before us, they shouldn't be renting out the cabin in that condition. The management and the employees should remedy the situation before letting guests stay in the cabin, not expected this for the money they are charged us for a night.

Run down, lights not working, toaster oven out dated and nasty, no microwave, refrigerator out dated, coffee pot was dirty (nasty), dishes drying in a dish rack in sink, no curtains in places. All KOA’s we have stayed at in the past have been exceptional.

The upper bed is too small only could be used for a child, it’s small for 6 people as they advertised, it’s clean. They should be more specific where to leave the key when, you leave. The check out time could be increased to one more hour since, the check in is at 3 pm it doesn’t make sense to me. It’s a small place for 6 or 5 people. But overall we made it and enjoyed.

Old school camping in Lake Tahoe! Unlike a few of the KOA's we've stayed at, Lake Tahoe KOA was simple camping missing the frenzy of children's activities. We really enjoyed our stay and used the campground as base camp for exploring in and around the lake. We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to Layla (manager) for being "on it" whenever we had a concern! She was awesome!

We stayed in the deluxe cabin. Good things: A/C works great, overall the campsite is clean & behind the campsite is a cool stream. Bad things: No pool, can’t have campfires, bed was broken, cabin was not clean and had dirty coffee pot & dishes, cabin was not stocked with essentials and whenever we went to the office/store they were closed even during hours they say they are open. Lovely people. Beautiful campground with a rushing river. Stayed in the deluxe cabin. Extraordinary shower: water pressure, shower head, provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash all excellent. Advertised as having A/C, which was a huge selling point for me, but I could not find. If ceiling fans are the A/C, then listing should not say A/C. I lost half a night of sleep because too hot for me.

I have stayed at many KOA’s and this location was just a bad experience. There’s are many reasons why this was the case but I have limited space to let these reasons be known. This was my daughter’s first camping experience as well. We came all the way from Florida and were very disappointed. This location does not deserve the KOA name. The campground is severely under the KOA stand

We stay here every year for our Granddaughter's birthday, cabins and motorhome, we do both. The employees are always friendly and go out of their way to accommodate. Pool is always warm and clean. The grounds are very well kept. Love the emphasis on God and family, very nice touches.

The cabin was perfect for my family of five. There were enough beds and a full bathroom. We had trouble with the wifi, but I was aware of that before I stayed here (it was reported by others who had stayed here, on Trip Advisor) and the shower had a moldy smell. Other than that it was a great stay. The office staff were friendly and helpful. The area around the KOA was beautiful and quiet.
