We drove 3 hours to stay 2 nights. When we got there, our space had been given to someone else, but we weren't told that. She did not have our space available and tried to put us next to the entrance from the freeway and near the remodel of the pool and fence where jackhammering was going on all week. She also tried to charge us over the amount and said it was an extra tax from California. POOOR!

The temp got to below freezing, and we were in tents. If yall know it's going to be that cold don't let rent cling be available. We were still charged for all 3 nights even though we didn't even make it through the first night.

Overall this was a nice stay. The location was perfect for short drives to all sites around Lake Tahoe, especially the South Lake area. The manager was excellent, he does all he can to make sure you're having a good stay. The property is in the process of making improvements, so currently it's not quite up to what I'm sure it will become.

TOO EXPENSIVE for what we got, approx $160 nite w/tax & fees. Sites are really close together. Our site was small (#107) for our 27 ft TT. Barely long enough to park our truck and so narrow our steps getting into the camper went off the pavement. Campground has a lot of trees and large rocks that you have to navigate around. Close to the highway. Lots of traffic noise. Staff was friendly.

Great family staff that is very helpful and professional. Even though space was tight in some areas having a 32-footer needs specific spots just based on the way they are formed. Other than that, it was great to have help placing it in a spot and much appreciated!

This campground was surrounded by pines and a creek running through it. Real camping with hook-ups. Just 10 min away from the lake, out of the traffic.

I thought we would be in a paved pull through site because that's what I selected when making reservations. Instead we were up a mountain side and had a hard time getting the trailer in it's spot our truck bumper got damaged from a rock. Our spot was on a slant which was hard with a 2 year old. Directly next to the highway made it hard to sleep at night. Manager was nice during check in.

Beautiful area. Bathroom needs more frequent attention to replace paper goods. Parking area was not level. Friendly and efficient staff.

As others have mentioned this is a KOA, now under new ownership, that is having a new life installed. The management, husband/wife with twins, are super individuals that care about you and your stay! We only stayed one night as we were traveling thru but will definitely look them up when we come back. Take care and thx!

This KOA is a work in progress. They are making favorable changes, but it still needs work. We had to ask the bathrooms be cleaned and a party of tent campers stayed up until 2:30 am disrupting quiet. Someone should patrol the campground to enforce quiet hours.

My husband and I came with our son and daughter, our sons classmate and his mother. we all had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the creek in the back saw a baby otter met some enjoyable people. It was a great time. Thank you.

The camp ground was really well kept. The bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed our tent camping spot. We will absolutely be back!

Loved our 2 nights stay - staff so friendly and helpful. I wasn't aware it was quiet so far from the Lake over 8 miles so too far to walk. Family working there were so kind and generous- they took us in their vehicle dropped us off first thing and then picked us up when we were ready to come back. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful campground currently undergoing renovations. Restrooms & showers were clean. A few simple food items in office would be a nice addition. Dump station is in an awkward area & could not be used by my class B van. Hopefully it will be moved to a more open area as part of the renovations.

Tahoe Koa is a disaster. Between construction on the pool, laundry room from 1960 with no working machines. Red ant hills all over my camp site. 14 year old girl working the office. Stay away

Great staff!!! Lots of work going on as park needs lots of attention. They need to learn what size RV can fit in certain spots. Big RVs need large spots

The grounds were in rough shape and undergoing updates. Spectacular view from our site. The best part was the family who is there running the place. They were super friendly and helpful and very hard workers!

Hard working staff that went out of their way to make our stay better. This is a new KOA/older campground and they are working hard to make it great so its a bit of a mess currently, but a beautiful area. Worth the visit still if you are in the area.

This is an idyllic place right along the river in the trees! The staff went out of their way to make us happy! It’s a campground not a resort with tight turns and trees so not big rig friendly. They do have some spots n the lower loop that can accommodate a 40 foot RV. Beautiful tent spots along the river and some RV spots…clean and well maintained, currently going through some updating.

Hosts were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Campground is under renovations so it is a work in progress. Great location to get to Lake Tahoe.

Was happy to find a weekend opening We had an event in S shore so was happy to be close. The camp is in the process of cleanup. Renovations still present. There’s piles of brush debris that needs removed still. The public bathrooms were clean but need to install more hand soap disp.only 1 for 4 sinks. $130.86 with KOA discount was too much for site 215. Checkin staff was friendly and professional. Site was tight, with our picnic table barely fitting between 215 and 216. Main building was under construction. Site was barely long enough, and we nearly blocked the truck in 218. Our site was un-level side to side. Bathroom was clean, but one stall was out of toilet paper by mid evening.

We stayed here May 28 -June 1, 2024. The website dos not indicate this is a "KOA" and there us a major renovation in progress. We booked a "pull thru" site which was unuseable due to another RV blocking the exit of the site. The sites are not big rig friendly. Roads are narrow, sites are not very level, lots of boulders and trees to navigate to park your RV.

This was an amazing stay the place has come a long way and is improving every day. The shining stars are the two lovely ladies Vivian and Yerika they made sure me and my group were taken care of and are huge supporters of veterans. Will definitely be looking forward to another stay with them as our hosts.

Still under renovation. I can imagine how it will be in a few years. The staff (family of 4) were awesome. Always friendly and accommodating. Even escorted us to our site and helped set trailer into the spot. It had a great tight knit feel to it while still being private.

Lots of construction- this KOa seems pretty expensive for what is offered. We stay at a lot of KOAs. I think this one is way overpriced. The people were so nice and they are trying- it was clean but for the price will look elsewhere.

The park is located in beautiful settings, 4 miles from Tahoe. Lot's of trees and buzzing down creek. The sites are spacious, flat, equipped with picnic table, fire ring and barbecue, charcoal griddle. Not all sites have full hookups so make sure to ask for one if you need that. The owners and staff are the nicest people I have ever met. Office with store are open from 9am until 9pm. Good Wifi.

We stayed in their cabin. It was clean and tidy. On check in we had a concern with the metal stairs and our dogs paws and within 20 mins it was taken care of. The team here is super friendly. The store well sppointed. Surrounded by natural beauty and close to most attractions. The KOA is under renovation but will be amazing when finished. Would definitely return. Thank you:)
