We had a good stay in rustic cabin for 2 nights, then moved deluxe cabin. Good area for dog walking. Our neighbors in rustic cabin were very messy (leaving lots of items all over the outdoor cabins area-arrived w/some of their trash on our picnic table). A few comfort suggestions: hair dryer in the bathroom & ceiling fan with light in rustic cabins. Been to many KOAs & several had ceiling fans.

Friendly staff, plenty of things for kids to do. Rented a cabin and shower head was filthy was our only real issue. I wiped w wash cloth and it was super dirty which makes water spray sideways and onto floor. Would be cleaner and save your floors from getting wet by wiping once a week. We camp at KOA/Foxfire a couple times a year.

We have stayed at FoxFire at least once a year for the last 7 years. This time, the staff in the office were rude. They were busy but rude. The floats in the lake were flat. They used to have 5 floats in the lake plus some small floats for little kids inside the rope. Now they have 3 and nothing for little kids. 2 of the 3 were FLAT. Restrooms were clean

Thanks for the feedback. We have only had three inflatables outside the rope for the last 10 years and the small inflatables have been gone for 5 years, so perhaps you have us confused with a different campground. We do maintenance on the inflatables once a week.

The cabin needs some repairs like the light switch in the bathroom needs replaced some of the blinds need replaced . the ones in the bedrooms need to be blackout blinds.

After the first night, when the heat wasn't working, and we froze in the cabin, they moved us to another cabin and every thing was fine. The office staff was very helpful and understanding on the matter and we finish our stay 3 nights later.

Front desk lady was very nice , unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say. Seems more like a trailer park then a campground. Overgrown grass, rvs parked right behind our site. Our cabin was being eaten by carpenter bees which was very evident if you even looked a bit. For the price we paid I would have expected a much nicer stay. Very disappointing hlad we only were passing through 1 nigh

The host was very nice and accommodating but there was no firewood as advertised for purchase. The grass was too tall and wet to have a fire in the ring. We were in the rustic cabins but one of the heaters did not work. We wanted to ask for a refund and move elsewhere but after 6pm, the office is closed.

Lacked ADA access to areas of promoted activities , thereby I fell and landed with my mobility scooter landed on top of me. I sustained multiple injuries such as a concussion. While the staff helped me up they did not call ems I did call when I got back to my cabin, I could not go to the hospital due to special circumstances. I was only trying to take my grandson fishing and camping during

We are sorry to hear that you werent aware of our ADA pathways becuase you can access our fishing areas in a mobility device. Our staff offered many times to call EMS for you but you refused. You just wanted to call your daughter and get back to your cabin.

It was a good stopping point from Michigan traveling south. We enjoyed the hot showers, wifi and heated cabin.

The cabin was nice and everything was comfortable. The staff was very kind and accommodating. However we are usually tent campers and walking past those sites they are loud and bright. I wouldn't recommend for tents.

We enjoyed our pet friendly stay with Foxfire. It was beautiful and peaceful. Very convenient even for rustic cabin which I appreciated the l last minute accomodations. The only negative being the cabin was a bit dirty underbefs n in corners. Table had sticker residue left on it. Could have used a deep clean which is why I left my card! Thank you it was a great holiday for me! Merry Christmas!

We stayed in the Deluxe cabin, which we have stayed before in a few years back. Unfortunately, the cabin needs a bit of a refresh...the mattress on the bunk beds was like a rock, the road noise was heavy and the mini-split unit went on and off (very loudly) every 2-3 minutes, all night long. The was the unit right outside the main bedroom area. No sleep all night long...

This is our 5th year spending a weekend at Fox Fire KOA for Halloween. We come with a large group that grows every year. Our kids have so much fun. We look forward to it every year!

I stayed in a rustic cabin and the beds were very uncomfortable. I had the cabin booked for 2 nights, but left the second night and returned home. The cabin felt damp inside and the sewer smell was awful at night. The festivities were fun, but my overall experience was less than pleasant.

Tip for big rigs: the road the KOA is on requires a very sharp turn. It's doable, but go slow and be prepared. The staff is amazing and friendly. The kids love how much there is to do — the swimming pond, playground, fishing, and more! The office store has your essentials and propane available for refill. My favorite part of the campground is Ruger, the sweetest old senior kitty (who loves belly rubs). 🥹

Stayed one night as part of a longer trip. Check in was quick and easy, guided to site and help with parking. Small swimming lake has boats and huge floats for kids to play. Kids loved it.
