Not much water pressure. Not fun to do your setup and break downs in mud. Also didn't care for the limited parking spot in the mud.

Check-in was very easy but we was put in a spot with absolutely no room for a 35 foot fifth wheel with three slides we couldn’t put our steps down after we got set up. We had to move to another spot. I think it could’ve been planned out a little bit better because when you make the reservations, you’re putting in what type of rig you have and that needs to be taken into consideration.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The original site was used becuase of your length. You had one of our long pull through sites to make sure you had room. We are unaware of your slideouts when you book online.

We don't appreciate being told where to place our unit on the camp site lot. Being forward of some white line limits the use of the lot when considering the amenities of the trailer. The new owner needs to consider the customer. The staff was friendly.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The white line we have on the ground is to get you in front of the power box to avoid slideouts being blocked. You have full access to your site from road to powerbox.

The office staff was friendly. Our site was level. . We shared the electric box with another travel trailer who used the 30 amp while we used the 50 amp. Sites were very close together and weird looking. The bath house was one I would not use because it smelled of urine, had a dirty shower and was dark. It was air conditioned and had music playing which was nice. Junky coming into the park.

Staff were very friendly. The campground look very nice. We stayed in a tent on lot 81. Lot 81 was way to close to the expressway. NO SLEEP AT ALL! I felt that it should have been disclosed at the time of the booking.

We really enjoyed staying at this KOA, the staff was friendly, the grounds were well taken care of and the pond was a big hit with our grand daughter. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here.

Overnighted on our way east, campground was bordered by I-64 on one side, which made it noisy,and our site was not level as we couldn’t get our camper leveled without the wheels on one side being up off the ground about 4”. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and they had a nice pond set up for swimming

We made a reservation by telephone. It was easy and very pleasant. Check in was quick and easy and we were escorted to our pull in site. Only there for 1 night but will definitely keep this campground in our files. Easy on and off Interstate.

First of all, the employees were amazing! It was a little discouraging coming in to the campground due to the eye sore of the some of the homes but we understood that is no fault of the KOA. We stayed at #8. The people beside us were parked wrong so we were kinda on top of each other. That was a tad challenging but we made the best of it. We liked the trees. However, I doubt we will return.

It was not a typical KOA .. the swimming pound was not clean. There was no park or anything really for small children. The dog park was also lacking. They did bring in a food truck for Saturday, that seemed nice. The store was small with little to offer.

Very tight- basically a U-turn - to enter the park coming from the east. Be prepared! Nice staff. But- they should NEVER assign a 40’ motorhome to the back in site we were on. VERY unlevel and short. If a suitable site is not available, the park should not have accepted our reservation. There are many level pull through sites. Don’t accept a back in if you’re in a large motorhome

Just a quick overnight stop but the grounds were nice and there was a lot to do there. Would definitely stay again and add a day to explore and enjoy.

Pros: Grounds / Lake were not crowded. Staff was friendly. Cons: Low on activities for kids. No bike rentals etc. Shower houses smell strongly of mildew. Swim lake sand is grey just beneath surface and smells rotten. After later research, it's indicative of oxygen starved zone, causing sand to go septic. Dangerous to swimmers and fish. Observed multiple dead fish and No aerator in swim lake.

Was very upset with the $15 early check in charge. I have seen that but no one has ever charged it. Furthermore no one even mentioned the fact they were charging it. The park is lovely but this was a big turnoff and we would pass it by.

We do advertise the early check in fee. Looking at your reservation, you arrived before our check out time and we had to move stuff around to find an open site.

Electrical service issues. Very tight turning spaces. Had to disconnect my car to move to only available space replacement. Shared service sites poles not a good thing for Acs and electronics.

�� 1 Star The staff were friendly, which is the only reason I gave this KOA 1 star. The cabin was moldy inside and out, the area around it was a complete mud hole, and the railing was unsafe and falling apart. The bathhouse was disgusting—smelled like sewage, had moldy shower curtains, grime, and cobwebs. Overall, the maintenance and upkeep were terrible. I would not stay here again.

Bizarre rule about the swimming area. Apparently only two children in the ENTIRE camp are allowed to be in the lake at a time??? What even is that? We have 3 kids, so just our family alone couldn’t swim. That rule was orally told to us but not listed in the pamphlet we were given. Super confusing and odd… wouldn’t stay here again because of this.

We are unsure of this information given. The only number limitations we have are on the inflatbales at a time not in the lake and its 5 at a time. That is from the manufacturer of the inflatables not us. Those rules are posted by the lake as well.

This campground is so quaint and cute. Lots of amenities. I love the fishing ponds; everyone was very helpful and considerate. I stayed on my way to Indiana from Virginia and back home to Virginia. I would stay there again.

Very nice KOA. There is a sharp turn when you come into the camp. They do warn you about it but it’s a bit scary when you are driving a 40 ft rv with a Jeep behind it. Grounds were clean. Staff was nice. Pond for swimming looked great but we didn’t swim. The freeway runs behind the campground so a campsite up front is preferred.

When we got there the site was tight to the one beside us and muddy. Wasn't happy especially finding out that the neighbors took over our 50amp and left us with 30. (Nope won't work). So after talking to office they gave us a Premier site. Much Much better. Thank you. Dog Park very nice. But the gas grill had no gas, what is the point on having a gas grill on a Premier lot. There was a very nice stocked fishing lake. We only stayed for 1 night.

This is a campground with cabins also but we were traveling thru to a destination. We stayed in our camper. We liked it well enough that we stayed again on our way home.
