Campers say, they return not only because it's a beautiful campground, but for the peaceful, friendly atmosphere.Meet John and Debbie Bierbach, the new owners of the Hixton / Alma Center KOA in Wisconsin.
As avid campers, John and Debbie had long dreamed of owning their own campground. Although they had looked at several campgrounds for sale over the years, they never found the right one. That is, until they visited the Hixton / Alma Center KOA, owned by Donna and the late Jim Rankin. It was love at first sight.
Built into the rolling hills of Wisconsin's heartland, its land has natural beauty. Jim and Donna only added to its charm during their 30 years of ownership, planting well over 4,000 bushes, trees, and flowering plants. The Hixton / Alma Center KOA is one of the most beautiful campgrounds you'll find. Jim and Donna loved what they did, and John and Debbie intend to carry on in their footsteps.
John is a former firefighter and EMT who served as a Captain on the Tess Corners, WI Fire Department. Most recently he worked in the private sector as a product sales manager. Debbie is a legal assistant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a background in accounting. You'll see their daughter, Trisha, working in the KOA office and store during her summers off, and their son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sara, will surely drop in from time to time to visit from their home in the Twin Cities.
John and Debbie look forward to hosting you for your next camping getaway as they embark on this new chapter in their life. . Welcome!
