From I-94, take Exit 105. At the Stop Sign at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left onto Hwy 95 and go 3.7 miles. The Hixton/Alma Center KOA Holiday is on the left shortly after the Blue Moo Barefoot Waterski sign.
If coming from the East on State Highway 95, you will see a billboard on the right hand side of the highway indicating that the campground entrance is 1700 feet on your right.
Coming from both directions, look for the BIG YELLOW KOA flag by our entrance from the highway!
WE RECOMMEND NOT RELYING ON GPS. It may have you exit the highway and take you on various backroads.

Everyone wishes for the best of weather when you head out for your camping trip, but you never know when Mother Nature has different plans and it starts to rain. So now what do you do when your stuck in your camper or tent?
How about playing a game.
When you’re stuck inside the tent or RV because of terrible weather, play “I’m going on a picnic.”
The premise is simple. The first person starts the game by saying “I’m going on a picnic and I’m taking ____.” They then finish the sentence with an item that begins with the letter “A.”
Then the next person repeats the sentence, including the item the first person is bringing, and ends it with an item that begins with the letter “B.”
This continues around in a circle through the whole group. Everyone repeats the sentence including each item the previous players have brought on the picnic while adding new items beginning with each subsequent letter.
It’s definitely a silly game – but it’s a lot of fun to play with kids! You’ll be surprised when your memory falters. And you’ll sure be in for a lot of laughs.
