This KOA is on the north end of town not far from the state capitol. Well kept (no trash), quite and well maintained. Note there is a school next to the property so when school is in you may hear the kids playing. I would recommend staying here.

It was a basic KOA stay but the staff were SUPER friendly and nice! The facilities were extremely clean which made it a nice stay.

Very clean and well maintained facility. Restroom and showers are top tier. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would 100 percent stay here again.

The Helena North KOA provided exceptional service, FANTASTIC people and a really lovely experience. (Not often the camp host hands over their personal chair so you can sit in the shade!!) As a long time Kabin Kamper, I simply adore the KOA Kamper Kabin experience - almost always superb and Helena North is right at the top of my list of superbness!! Planning to hit another one this weekend.

Stayed in cabin #1, blood stains on curtains above the bed. Showers & washrooms super clean with easy access. A coffee maker or machine outside the office door or even inside the office but 9 am - 6 pm hours don't allow for that. We arrived at 6:03 pm and not a soul in sight. Very different from the others KOA's we've stayed at.

Loved the air conditioning and mini fridge in the cabins. We enjoyed the cornhole, ladder ball, gigantic chess and red outside Adirondack chairs in the evening. The laundry room is open 24 hours, huge plus...but no changing $ into coins unless the office is open. Nice location, a little out of Helena with freeway a gas station & convience store less than 1 mile away. Knowledgeable staff.

Staff is very friendly. The silo was cool to stay in. Loved having a mini fridge and the bed was extra comfy. Disappointed there wasn’t free cookies and pancakes like other KOA we stayed in. Would be nice if it had a pool but the price reflected this. Very clean. We would stay here again!!

Host unknowledgeable, rude, and dismissing. Host doesn't inspect bed, however charging customer for broken bed. Customer had to remove bed mattress to prove the bed was not assembled correctly in 4 places, with cracks in frame. Host provided visually hostile facial expressions, and an undermining tone of voice when redirected by customer in regards to poor assembly of full size bed in cabin.

We had to arrive pretty late in the night, and getting in and settled even after hours was convenient. The campground is beautiful and the cabin was awesome!

We stayed in one of the silos and we loved it! It was bigger than I expected and very comfy! I enjoyed it even more than the cabins we stayed in previously.

The campground was clean and quiet, and the bathrooms were great. I was disappointed at the lack of trees/shade around the cabins, and there was no grass around the cabin. Also, the van parking was very to the cabin picnic table area…felt like we were in a parking lot rather than a campground. The area for camper/trailers looked nice, with some trees and grass.

Our stay in one of the Silos was very comfortable. The one we stayed in had 2 triple-decker bunk beds and a queen bed along with a table, two benches, a stool, A/C, a heater, and a mini fridge.

I Have stayed at the Helena KOA several times now and have always found it a great basecamp for the area. The neighborhood is quiet, but with groceries and supplies close by. The campground is well kept, and the staff friendly and responsive. It's a great place to stay.

Pre arrival communication was excellent and everything was ready for our late check-in. The rustic cabin was preheated during that chilly March day. New and very clean bathrooms just accross from the cabins. We would stay again on our way through Helena!

Very nice cabins just a little chili but not KOA'S fault Montana gets cold. The staff was great. The maintenance man is Awesome. TY is very accommodating.

This is an AWESOME KOA with really great staff. We stayed here on our way to Canada/Alaska. The people who work here were so helpful. We ran into an issue with our 5th wheel refrigerator and T&T quickly recommended a couple of mobile tech's who came out diagnosed and later fixed the problem. The office folk were more than accommodating with extending our stay a couple of times without having us move. We also received several Amazon deliveries, which they would text us when they arrived. I believe Bob is the owner and you couldn't ask for a nicer guy. Stand and T & T were just so wonderful. They have 2 dog parks, which are side by side and a good size for the pups to run around in. They also have these really cool shilo rental units, which looks like a lot of fun to stay in. We will be back to this park for sure and we HIGHLY recommend them.

• Staff are excellent • Site was fairly level • No cable, but lots of air channels and reception is good • Showers are clean and decent water pressure • Wifi is good, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV • Quite a bit to do in the area, close to shopping and dining • I would stay here again
