This was a pit stop for me between Glacier and Yellowstone. When I saw that they had the “silo” I had to do it! While there the KOA team was more than helpful and friendly. I also left my jacket hanging on the door and they contacted me and said they’d send to my next destination which was Cody Yellowstone east KOA. Very good people!

Delightful stay at the North Helena KOA over Memorial Day weekend, 2026. The restrooms were the CLEANEST we've ever seen at a KOA :) Staff was very attentive, caring and pleasing to be around. We will stay there again!

Front desk people are super nice and helpful. Cabin was perfect and have everything we need and a bit extra. First Cabin we stay that has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine and tv. We love our stay and definitely we will be booking in the future.

We had just a quick one night stay here with our dogs. It was very comfortable, clean, quiet and the office staff was very friendly. The dog park was great too! We would definitely stay again!

We had a great time. The camp amenities were fun, even with a teenager. Do wish they had a pool, though. With the market just down the road and the Grub Stake - great food, we had everything we needed.

The Grain Silo was a bit warm for sure. The bunkbeds were difficult for my elderly father to get into and they are pretty unstable. Maybe consider a single bunkbed with more room to get into for people that have other adults with them. The bathrooms were spotless and great showers, as was the store and check-in area. The staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We got there late. The staff left our info out so we could get in the silo. Bathrooms were clean. Our silo was awesome. Recreation area had fun lawn games. Our family loved our stay.

My daughter and I stayed in a KOA cabin, so we could attend a concert at the county fair. The cabin and restrooms were very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We stayed in a Silo. It was great for our family of 6, very roomy. The KOA was nice. Clean bathrooms and the kids loved the game area. I gave a 4 because of the noise on some nights - garbage truck came at 3am & then 6am and motorcycles were making racket. I would recommend bringing a box fan for white noise! Other than that it was a great place!

The cabin and the bathrooms are very clean. But they need to plant trees at the side of the cabins, during summer time it’s very sunny and hot without any shadings.

The owners went above and beyond to make our stay great. We ended up needing an extra night and they were more than willing to accommodate us. The yard games were a bonus as well as being able to rent a propane fire pit one night. We will be staying again, if we end up in Helena in the future.

Just stopped for one night. This campground is one of the cleanest KOA’s that I have stayed in. The grounds are well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless. Owner/manager obviously take pride in their campground. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely return when passing through Helena! Shane

Clean facility, easy check in and check out, staff is helpful with questions, and the location is easy to find. The dog parks are nice to have. The beds in the cabins are not comfortable, so just make sure to bring extra padding.

We rented a rustic cabin short notice in November and they were very flexible with accommodating us and it was warmed up by the space heater. Clean and fresh looking restrooms nearby. Service, cabin, bathrooms are 10/10. The campground is easy reachable form the I15, on a side road. That road is busy and quite loud. A 3 min drive is Moose pizza, take out or they also have tables, very good

Nice campground. Bathrooms clean. charged an extra $100 for cleaning my silo. Seems excessive, but I understand that there should be some charge as my puppy had diarrhea (in his kennel and spilled out).

Short stay only one night in a Camp Cabin. It was very close to washrooms and laundry facilities. Staff were friendly and polite. Cabin was well appointed with a microwave, fridge and air conditioning as well as heaters for cooler weather.

The people at the Helena North KOA Journey have been great! They went the extra mile to make sure my stay was as seamless to me as possible. I stayed in one of the log cabins for 2 weeks and on short notice I was going to have to move around a little. I had no problem with that because I knew it was short notice. They managed to keep me in the same cabin and avoid spending a little more money!!

We stayed here for 4 nights in May, and had one of the end of the row patio sites - well worth it. The place was quiet and well maintained and in a good location. There is a decent restaurant (Grubstake) close by, a market and a gas station, and it's close to Helena. Thank you Travis for your help with everything. We would definitely return!
