We've stayed at Helena KOA many times. Service at time of registration-A+. They have everything you could possibly want. Grocery store near, Ace Hardware near and no trains or Interstates. Neat and tidy. If you plan to be there for an extended period and you have kids, there's an elementary school next door. A lot of them don't have that.

Convenient overnight stay traveling back towards Custer, SD. Nice, friendly folks at check in. Sites were nice with plenty of room for our rig & truck. Nice grassy areas to walk the dogs, plus a larger-than-many dog run area. Nice laundry facility. "Civilization" only about 6 miles away if you need to re-stock.

All the staff members we talked to were very nice and helpful. We will stay here again on our nice trip through Helena.

Great staff, nice clean restrooms and enough off the road/hwy to be quiet at night. Has a GREAT tent section if you need it. General comment on all KOAs (10 different ones) we stayed at on this last trip . . . so many extended stay folks. People seem to be living at the KOA instead of camping.

Camping after Labor Day has its challenges. Most campground offices seem to close at 3-5pm. Was thankful for a real person answering the phone and put us in a space for the night. Bathrooms n showers were excellent. ���

This KOA is on the north end of town not far from the state capitol. Well kept (no trash), quite and well maintained. Note there is a school next to the property so when school is in you may hear the kids playing. I would recommend staying here.

Park is exceptionally clean and well-kept, including laundry. Staff very friendly and helpful. The two dog runs were clean and spacious. Spent 4 nights here. One of the nicest RV parks where we've ever stayed.

The texts on our arrival day were very helpful. We arrived after hours but we received a text with directions on what to do when we arrived at the KOA. Bathrooms were very clean. Curbside garbage pickup. We will definitely be back!

The sites were close with a strip of grass. Very clean, restrooms were clean as well. Level spot. Full hook up. Cool silos to stay in if you don’t have a camper. Pet area was very nice and fenced in. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again. Grocery store down the street.

We arrived after the office was closed but the next day the staff was amazing at helping us with questions. The spots were big enough for lounging outside. The while park was very clean. Pet area was great, too. I'll come back again!!

We stayed twice at the Helena KOA, and we were very impressed with how immaculate the grounds were. You can tell they put a lot of work into. The dog parks are amazing, clean and spacious. The amenities and games are not an after thought, but a feature. Our first site was great, but our second site was too narrow to walk around our picnic table and our slides.

Extremely friendly and helpful people. The whole camp was clean, and peaceful and quiet. Great amenities. Spent lots of summers in Helena as a kid, and that was my first time in the valley. Very nice! Would definitely stay here again.

Stan and Bob were both incredibly helpful. Had to change my Reservation 3 times due to a medical issue, and they made it completely painless.

All RV spots are too close to each other. Feels like the neighbors can look down in your windows. Would only stay at KOAs in eergency or nothing else available

It was a basic KOA stay but the staff were SUPER friendly and nice! The facilities were extremely clean which made it a nice stay.

Very nice people at check in. They for sure made it known that if we needed quarters for the laundry, that the office closed at 6. Easy access from the interstate highway. Would definitely stay again! Thanks!!!!

The best KOA we have stayed on this trip! Super friendly and helpful staff. Everyone knew the answer to the questions that I asked. I would highly recommend this park to anyone. Super clean, has great sites, well-groomed park. Great internet. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

This is an AWESOME KOA with really great staff. We stayed here on our way to Canada/Alaska. The people who work here were so helpful. We ran into an issue with our 5th wheel refrigerator and T&T quickly recommended a couple of mobile tech's who came out diagnosed and later fixed the problem. The office folk were more than accommodating with extending our stay a couple of times without having us move. We also received several Amazon deliveries, which they would text us when they arrived. I believe Bob is the owner and you couldn't ask for a nicer guy. Stand and T & T were just so wonderful. They have 2 dog parks, which are side by side and a good size for the pups to run around in. They also have these really cool shilo rental units, which looks like a lot of fun to stay in. We will be back to this park for sure and we HIGHLY recommend them.

• Staff are excellent • Site was fairly level • No cable, but lots of air channels and reception is good • Showers are clean and decent water pressure • Wifi is good, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV • Quite a bit to do in the area, close to shopping and dining • I would stay here again
