We had a great time! Customer service was excellent. Our only complaint would be the constant smell of marijauna from neighbours close by smoking openly all weekend, and the teens drinking all weekend waundering the camprgound with open liqour. We travel as a groupe with many young kids so we felt this was very inconsiderate.

Great location near Halifax. Staff were friendly and helpful! Amenities (like showers and toilet stalls) were clean and well maintained. Yes, I would definitely stay here again!

Love everything about this place. Perfect balance of rustic but close to the city and next to a beautiful lake. Joe the owner awesome too. Can't wait to go back next summer!

Clean washrooms, good sites. Very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to off the 101. And quiet. FYI, need car to go shopping or eat out, but lots of nearby options.

We had a wonderful stay in Halifax West. We had electrical Problems with our Rig and Jo organized an electrician. All Problems were Solveig.

I’ve spent the last 6 weekends at KOA Halifax and absolutely love it! The campground is clean, peaceful, and family-friendly with great staff and amenities. Every site feels private and surrounded by nature. It’s my weekend escape — relaxing mornings, campfires, and friendly faces. Truly feels like a home away from home!

Stayed for 2 nights, however only slept their and used washroom. Which was not very clean, neither were showers. Arrived late and left early in morning.

We stayed at Halifax West KOA in May at the start of our 6-months travels in Canada/Alaska, and again in October. Joe is the most friendly and service minded camping host we have experienced during our travels. He should be awarded the King Of KOA medal!! My wife and I did a bit of Fall camping in our motorhome. Beautiful weather and the trees looked fabulous. I like the fact that this campground stays open until the end of October.

We were so happy with our stay. We loved the setting with the river and treed sites. We even stayed an extra night. The host was very helpful and very accommodating. Great service.

it was a convenient location to visit Peggy's Cove. Easy to get to and maneuver. Pull Thru sites were in the sunny part of the park, were level, and were fairly close by but not as bad as most. The place was clean, just lots of dirt although there was grass at the site. There was a dog walking area but no dog park. Fry Daddy's was a great place to eat about 5 minutes down the road.

Easy to find. Sites are nice and level. Owner super friendly and helpful. We used it as a hub to explore other parts of Nova Scotia by doing some day trips in our Toad and it was perfect for that.

C'est un camping bien situé pas en ville, on entend un peu l'autoroute, mais c'est acceptable. Il y a une belle piscine, creusée, chauffée et bien entretenue.
