Really enjoyed our stay. The activities for kids (crafts, movie night, etc) were really fun and my kids really enjoyed them. We felt the full campground experience. Will be back next year.

Dishwashing station very dirty with food clogging the drains. Bathroom floors muddy. Shower had hair all over the floors. Site power post had been hit by previous camper and covers were broken.

We were there for a short time. We found the entrance pretty tight and because it's beside the pool, too congested with people. Sites were just ok.

This park is fine for a quick stay to be relatively close to Halifax. It is very tight to get into many camping spots on this property. Biggest problem is there doesn’t seem to be any rules. Trailer beside ours had 5 cars visiting them on multiple nights blocking other trailers from being able to park in their lot. No one patrols or enforces rules.

Great campground for a few nights , shopping and everything close by, very noisy hwy traffic at times and small lots, But it was great for what we needed it for just a few days overnight quick trip

It was our first time with our new camper trailer and it was perfect. Beautiful campground. Great sites. Active during the day with lots of kids and fun, but nice and quiet in the evenings. Great place to relax for a weekend.

As a frequent user of Koas we were unpleasantly surprised by our stay at the Halifax Koa. Not enough space to write everything. Unclean and unkept bathrooms by playground Garbage mon to Fri still there in playground Teenagers running wild smoking on Bouncy pillow in park, knocking on camps late into night altogether rough crowd no mgmt having a look. Spoke to others seems to be a thing here.

We had a very pleasant stay, and our site was great with hydro & water hookups, The staff was spectacular and accommodating, the campground close for visiting friends and tourist attractions, shopping etc. We'd definitely stay again.

Didn’t not enjoy our stay, didn’t think the service was good and a lot of older kids running around with no supervision which made made our stay with 3 younger children very difficult

Very small space, lack of privacy. Lots of seasonal campers and some untidy spots. Pool, laundry and showers were all clean and pancakes breakfast was a nice treat and super inexpensive.

We are on a beautiful site and the owner Joe, did everything possible to keep us at this site when We extended our stay by 1 1/2 weeks. All staff is friendly and helpful. Hope to come back next year.

Great campground. Well maintained and very friendly staff. While we did not have any children with us but they did have many activities for children. Location was great, just a short ride to Halifax.

We stayed in late July for 2 nights, to be close to Halifax, Nova Scotia. This was probably the busiest time of year for this KOA, bustling and brim-full of kids riding all sorts of bikes and other wheeled vehicles. It was the noisiest campground we've ever been to, between all of the families and the loud road noise, which of course the campground can't help. Great for kids, not for old folks.

This is a great! I place love all the water/electric sites, wooded and some have a view of the lake. We there was a bit of a mix up during our check in (your site was given to someone else). The washrooms were very nice, but not well cleaned. Overall it was a great stay.

We had a pull through site. The dump point on the site was uphill from the discharge on our 5th wheel so to dump we had to play lift the hose for all 3 tanks. Not a good start to the day. We were near the maintenance end of the park and there were trucks and carts etc rolling by at 7:30 in the evening making dust and noise. The camp and everything was nice but the uphill dump was bad �.

Our site was right next to the the dump station and our neighbor’s sewer pipe was less than 2 feet from our picnic table.A large majority of the sites did not have sewer lines so the dumping station was constant.We did not get to sit or cook outside. Also behind us was a fire wood processing facility which was very loud. We did enjoy the Sat. evening singers, morning pancakes and icecream parlo

We did get sewer smells once in a while and our site was pretty tight to get in. It is convenient as it is close to Halifax. Laundromat is ok.

C'est un camping bien situé pas en ville, on entend un peu l'autoroute, mais c'est acceptable. Il y a une belle piscine, creusée, chauffée et bien entretenue.
