Many cool things for kids. We were not traveling with our grand-kids but we know that they would have loved it! We enjoyed our stay.

Our lot beside a hill -wood was cut-noisy, bushes all around-couldn't see out,cut grass while dinner Man at store didn't care if he had campers there or not 1st koa we will never return to

This KOA was unlike any I have ever stayed at. Garbage bins were overflowing and so full that they couldn’t close. Recycle bins were also overflowing. The shower curtains were in desperate need of cleaning. The sulpher smell in the bathrooms could choke a horse. And there were obvious signs of expansion to build more cabins that were all in various states of incompletion. HQ needs to inspect her

Not in line with other KOA standards. Washrooms had no soap, showers were never available. Dog park is in a marsh. Backup full service site is long,narrow & sandwiched with picnic table beside neighbour's poop hose. This KOA allows smoking of weed, so we were confined to our camper windows closed. When asked, the answer was "it's just like cigarettes, it's legal". They DO NOT "go above and beyond"

Lovely campground, good sized lots, lots of spaces. Nice pool, even though it was too cold to use it! Good location, not far from downtown Halifax. We used location as a hub to visit the area. Great staff! They are adding more cabins that look really nice.

Location is good for Halifax area. Facilities are below average. Not as kept up as other KOAs. Owner has a sawmill adjacent to grounds which is very noisy. Additionally, owner has a lot of construction on site.

A lovely setting close to Halifax and other tourist areas. Good selection of sites. We'll maintained.

I book a pull true for my motorhome as we were hauling a car with a dolly and when we came they gave us a regular site so we had to disassemble the whole thing and the lot was very small we had to ask the person next door to park our car a little bit on there site very disappointed will probably never return there

Great staff. Lots of things for kids to do.

It was just fine, park is a little tired and has great deal of construction in June 2026. No complaints, helpful guy at check-in and the hookups all worked.

We are just two seniors passing through and needed a site with power as there was a big storm happening and we would need to run the furnace or fireplace. We were very surprised by the fee. It was above our budget, but we didn't have much choice. We could see that there many things to keep a family busy, but for being off season, why is there not a reduced fee?

Campground has lots of amenities. Showers and bathrooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Handy location

Nice convenient campground to Halifax and Dartmouth. Some sights and roads a bit rough, but they are doing construction.

Great place to stay. They have everything that you need when traveling and best of all the people running the place were great.
