Halifax West KOA Reviews

I was absolutely blown away by this camp. The facilities were wonderful and the Deluxe Cabin was amazing. They offered daily activities for the kids. We’ll definitely be back at Halifax West KOA!

We spent 3 nights in one of the Camping Cabins and we had a great time! The park was clean, with lots of activities for the kids to enjoy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was perfect with power, a mini fridge and a ceiling fan this year!! This is our 2nd summer and we will be back again next year! And can’t wait.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. My camp neighbor are not civil and being mindful, which was upsetting.

We had a fun stay! We booked a cabin for our graduation night, and we had a blast! The cabin had everything we needed, and the sheets were really soft! We went to the pancake breakfast and the pancakes were big and fluffy! We had alot of fun and hope to go back again sometime this summer for a full weekend!

It was ok , site was uneven , over hanging trees No way u could of put lawn chairs out on account of the large tree roots/stump Other sites were a lot nicer … just luck of the draw getting this one Over all an ok KOA … easy access to Halifax Bathrooms were very clean

Myself, family and friends had a great stay this past weekend. It was our first time there and there was lots of stuff to do with my kids. We will be back!!

Wonderful staff very friendly and place is very clean we will definitely be back.

Great facilities for children and easy access. Public washrooms were bright and clean. It was not clear how to sort or where to place compost.

Shannon was so generous helping me get coins and navigate the laundry room washers and dryers. Joe was friendly and professional at the office. They offered me bedding and an electric space heater for the cabin. Highway traffic noise was neglible and I felt like I had the campground to myself in this off-season. Bathrooms and showers were spotlessly clean and warm. A smoky smell maybe wood stove?

I always enjoy staying at The KOA Halifax West! Very clean washrooms, large sites and amazing staff!! I have and will continue to recommend this place to everyone!!! Thank you ����

Perfect as always

Disappointed the cabin was smaller than we thought. Too cold even with the heater and the deck, chairs and picnic table were covered in dirt and leaves. It was not inviting or welcoming.

Loved it! Beautiful spot, clean cabin with everything you need and the beds are so comfortable

It was a short stay this time, only 2 nights but we have been coming to this KOA for many years. We always enjoy ourselves to the fullest, and this time was no exception. It was my wife's birthday and Joe did everything he could to ensure she had a lovely time, and she did! Thanks Joe! We will definitely see you again!

Another great trip to the Halifax West KOA!!!! We rented 3 cabins, even though it rained all day Saturday everyone has a great time... Plenty of trees around to hang our tarp from. Stayed nice and dry even during the heavier rains. Kids loved the banana bikes and campfires. There is no stay like one at the KOA.

One night family stay in a camping cabin.

The place is awesome for my family because of the amenities they have there, playground, pool and the lake. It was just an overnight camp but we enjoyed it so much we’d like to return camping soon!
