My wife and I did a bit of Fall camping in our motorhome. Beautiful weather and the trees looked fabulous. I like the fact that this campground stays open until the end of October.

We were so happy with our stay. We loved the setting with the river and treed sites. We even stayed an extra night. The host was very helpful and very accommodating. Great service.

it was a convenient location to visit Peggy's Cove. Easy to get to and maneuver. Pull Thru sites were in the sunny part of the park, were level, and were fairly close by but not as bad as most. The place was clean, just lots of dirt although there was grass at the site. There was a dog walking area but no dog park. Fry Daddy's was a great place to eat about 5 minutes down the road.

Easy to find. Sites are nice and level. Owner super friendly and helpful. We used it as a hub to explore other parts of Nova Scotia by doing some day trips in our Toad and it was perfect for that.

Very nice KOA. Bathrooms were very clean but they needed some sort of counter to place your items on. Cabins were great. The doors could be adjusted so they close tight and needed a mirror. All in all a really good campground for visiting the area.

Charming little cabin. Only thing is the mattress that slowly deflates, but had enough foam in it to keep me off the wooden slats. Washrooms were clean and I like the separate individual washrooms

I worked with Joe and he booked my same day reservation for me. My spot was perfect. The campground was super clean, the washroom and showers were too! Plenty of hot water. Guests were having lots of fun and everyone respected the quiet hours. Looking forward to staying here again.

Not up to KOA standards. There were trucks loaded with logs/chopped wood coming to and from directly through the campgound We tried to reach out via phone/email to no replies. This continued until it was past 7PM. This presented many concerns the least being it was unsafe. We book with KOA whenever possible as we expect a certain level of standards and security, this location did not do this.

We renewed our KOA card, with the past experience of KOA's having a very nice level of tidiness and look. We understand that we are in September, but this place will be opened until November. Our grass was very long at our site and we were so close to our neighbour..we never put our chairs out. Maintenance area is messy and unsightly. The location is good. Very disappointed with the rest.

I’m surprised that this is an acceptable KOA campground. Sites are super small. We didn’t even have a picnic table. Garbage bins were overflowing. Garbage can in front of our site by one was a mess. Bathrooms were filthy. Would suggest to find an alternative campground. Owner is rude. Laundry facilities are a joke.

1. We felt it was more of a partying atmosphere as opposed to a family atmosphere!2. When we got to our site, there were people all in our site with open bottles of beer, alcohol and there was also some cannabis that could be smelled! 3. Our site was level and easy to get in and out of. We had a peaceful night sleep even with highway traffic noise . The only hang up was with the dump truck station. The red water post is too close in line with where you have to pull up- you could run into it if not careful, and there’s a wooded swing structure near the dump area which should not be there. Extremely tight campground. Difficult to maneuver large RV's into campsites. No place to park my tow vehicle. Campsites are practically on top of each other. My neighbor's awning was 6 inches from my trailer. Zero privacy.

For the cost of the stay, we did not have a nice spot - way too close to another trailer. Compared to a provincial park which we found had much more private spots this campsite was not great. That washroom was ok but not great. There were no extras to make the cost worth it.

Sites were ok but the neighbors Sewer was too far forward and it was right equal with my door when it should be more at the back of the site and the smell was always there not very appealing and we were in a pull thru. Bathrooms were clean showers too and lots of hot water. Park is very hilly and twisty and pretty tight in places for a big rig when you have to drive around. Lots of weed smell too.

Very crowded and your picnic table was beside your neighbors poop hose. The road noise was very loud and lumber trucks going by your campsite and loading and unloading within the park.

Place seemed very tired. Many of the sites are very close together. The "aroma" of weed was very noticeable...it detracted from our experience. Wouldn't go back or recommend the place.

VERY clean, well maintained, had all the amenities, conveniently located. Surprised at how nice it was and can’t believe I haven’t stayed before, especially for being dog friendly…almost want to keep it a secret!

The campground is close to Halifax and all the tourist attractions. The campground was neat and organized and camping spaces were a bit tight. We visited after the Labour Day weekend and the place was very busy. I do not think the owners realized that , and we noticed that the washrooms were not well maintained and as clean as we expect from a KOA campground.

C'est un camping bien situé pas en ville, on entend un peu l'autoroute, mais c'est acceptable. Il y a une belle piscine, creusée, chauffée et bien entretenue.
