Halifax West KOA Reviews

Although there was some nice sites with 2 services, we were at one with all services but really close to the neighbours. To the point where we needed to ask them to move their vehicle to back up our trailer. Little room for the truck after unhooking thus looking into the neighbour's vehicle. Pool was nice and the bathrooms clean. Staff friendly. Did not know about holding tank emptying service.

We had a great time except for the heavy rain on Saturday which no one can control

Good location - clean cabin - good facilities

Yes there was a heavy rain fall prior and during our stay but that does not excuse the site preparation. There was two inches of water on the whole site that could have been easily prevented by having trenches dug around the area. I went and got a lender shovel from the office and cleared the site of water myself.

We got caught in the rain storm and enjoyed every minute of it. Very friendly and accommodating staff!! Thr pancake house was the best!

We arrived late Friday so our booking and a map was left for us at the office. We were given backwards indications to get to the site. Ended up driving around the park at night in the rain so we could park and hook up. The next day at the office when we pointed it out , she laughed and said " Oh well, it doesn't matter, you're here now" I would have been good with I'm sorry.

Owner transferred us to site 007 after seeing one we were scheduled for. Although it rained heavily, we really liked our site. Good laundry, nice showers. Close to Halifax. Will stay there again.

Campground is kept nice.The public restroom and showers we're very clean. Lots of enjoyable amenities available. We will definitely be staying again soon.

Middle of everywhere, close to nothing..be prepared to drive at least an hour and try to avoid Halifax rush hour. Very tight spaces. No air TV, no cable, and no streaming. Bathrooms ok.

Good place to stay. Only issue I have is very poor internet, if at all. In this day and age campgrounds need good internet at the campsites so they can access their day to day responsibilities.

Douches défectueuses, Systeme de déchets très mal organisé. Beaucoup de branches à couper, les chemins sont encombrés de branches.

Many uneven sites which wouldn't drain the rain for two days. Sites very close to each other. Was okay for our needs as we didn't stay at camp during the days, we went for sightseeing. On a positive note, all staff were quite nice and helpful!

Great location with very nice sites and very clean facilities

Enjoyed our stay, busy campground but was not nosy at night which is great. Bathrooms were well kept and enjoyed canoeing. There were issues with the plumbing and some site flooding while we were there but that was all. Owners and employees all seemed friendly. Overall had a pleasant trip.

The grass was mowed long and old grass left in clumps. The gravel pad was unlevel, took 4.5 inches to level the RV, most I have used anywhere. Recreation room was small and campground worker started storing bicycles in it making it smaller.

Always a great time, great service, will be back!
