Halifax West KOA Reviews

The park was nice, however the bathrooms and showers were not cleaned or maintained adequately. After a busy weekend in the park, I would have expected a thorough cleaning, they were out of hand soap and toilet paper as well as generally dirty until we left Thursday. Not what we were expecting at a KOA.

Spots need to be a bit bigger, needs to be more to do for kids and need to have a dedicated person in the store, should not need to call every time we need to get in.

This place is great, we stay here 4 or 5 times a season. Joe and his staff are always super friendly and accommodating, never a bad time.

Great place to stay. They have everything that you need when traveling and best of all the people running the place were great.

We had a great time! Customer service was excellent. Our only complaint would be the constant smell of marijauna from neighbours close by smoking openly all weekend, and the teens drinking all weekend waundering the camprgound with open liqour. We travel as a groupe with many young kids so we felt this was very inconsiderate.

Great location near Halifax. Staff were friendly and helpful! Amenities (like showers and toilet stalls) were clean and well maintained. Yes, I would definitely stay here again!

Love everything about this place. Perfect balance of rustic but close to the city and next to a beautiful lake. Joe the owner awesome too. Can't wait to go back next summer!

Deluxe cabin was perfect. Clean, relaxing and the staff went above and beyond. I'm already to book again. Just have to find availability of the cabin that's works with me.

We had a wonderful stay in Halifax West. We had electrical Problems with our Rig and Jo organized an electrician. All Problems were Solveig.

We had a great 3 days there. Perfect cabin. Enjoyed the sun on the deck with our morningish coffee. Closed off the deck so dogs stayed on it. Perfect!

Very friendly, clean and pretty. Lots of trees and privacy.

Efficient service - clean bathrooms

We stayed at Halifax West KOA in May at the start of our 6-months travels in Canada/Alaska, and again in October. Joe is the most friendly and service minded camping host we have experienced during our travels. He should be awarded the King Of KOA medal!! Site was well maintained and clean.

Another great stay for thanksgiving. Started coming here 15 years ago when the kids were small and they still love it.

This was a great get away, and we will definitely becoming back again
