Halifax West KOA Reviews

Traffic noise, we've lost water 2 times and no pression after, many broken wash machines.Without staff, without gate security, any neighbourg come to flush black water, site was small. Good just for one night.

On Friday night there were some young girls screaming their lungs out, oh yeah, at 23h30. Absolutely not acceptable. The host responsability. Should have a security person to avoid this type of behavior. It breaks a perfect stay. Cowboy �� Ren.

Was just an overnight stay for an early morning hospital appointment, but, I will say that the campground was need and clean, the cabin was well taken care off and the staff was very helpful. the facilities are well positioned, clean and tidy. Thank you KOA.

A perfect place for a group of families!

Me and my family come every year to the Upper Sackville KOA. We are always accommodated and treated well by the staff. Joe that works there is amazing!

Our first camp site they gave us was too small for our trailer and impossible to back into because of the big trees and narrowness of the road. They were very nice and quick to get us another site, which was ok but not very big either. We were also unhappy about the checkout time, 11:00 is to early most parks you don’t have to check out until the afternoon, 2 or 3 o’clock. Thanks

Arrived: girl at the desk was not friendly and the boy wasn't trained right. My son and my debits both locked trying to pay. Had to do an e transfer and find a bank to get my card fixed. No power was given even though we paid for it. We were tenting. First space was all rocks. They gave us a new space but I felt the girl was a little rude. Showers were slippery. Kids on rented bikes. No helmets.

Staying at KOA Was a last minute choice but in the end a great choice Thanks to the staff and management for a great stay will be back

Excellent place to stay very kid friendly. The staff was helpful. Would recommend this place.

The kids and I had an awesome time with lots to do to keep us entertained. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely come back again. (I already recommended the campground to a few people.)

This is our second time here. This time we were woken to dump trucks and construction every morning by 7:30 AM as they expand their campground I assume. No notice ahead of our stay or at check in. As well they had a septic failure. Our sight and the entire area smelt awful. They worked late into the evening to fix it. But it smelt all 3 nights we were there. I will skip this campground next time.

The campground is very crowded, sites are very small. Very bad and horrible smell every day At one point there weren’t any running water and when it came back the water was running brown. Fortunately, we didn’t drink water during our stay. Needs a little TLC

This KOA is designed for kids,it was full of them them this summer during our stay. There is only one road, a loop and one-way & the exit as well, & you must drive through the entire campground if your campsite is near the exit as ours was, watching for kids at all times, who aren't watching out for you, nor are their parents for the most part, not KOA's fault, but still nerve wracking.

5 nights with a family of 5. Lots to do at the campground and the location gave us easy access to the Halifax. We will be back

Crowded noisy , no toilet paper in bathroom , it was a weekend , seemed short staffed the sites are crowded not enough showers for size , need to be better cleaned, no rules seemed to be enforced, kids running across peoples sites after curfew hours, our site was nice , staff usin laundry facilities taking ip machines , while several out of service, staff was friendly and were doing their best

We stayed one night. The pool was great and the ice cream hit an excellent idea, however, we didn’t make it to the pancake breakfast. Thank you.

Very tight camping ground when we walk out the door we’re in a flooded area. The grounds are not kept up very good. They’re too busy building their own garage instead of fixing the campground. Do not recommend it.
