The edge campsights for back in RVs were lovely treed sights, with a great view. We did a load of laundry and our clothes came out smelling extremely funky- not sure it was the washer or dryer but the funk was strong. Campground was a little messy, and the firewood was so fresh, it would barely burn. Joe, the owner/ operator, was very personable, accommodating and helpful.

We loved to stay at the waterside in the park. a stroll around showed us all the different areas from hiding in the wood to sites for monster mobiles. Very friendly manager.

Everything was a fantastic stay. Only issue was the bed itself. The mattress to the cabins were not great. It worked but not the most comfortable. Otherwise the stay was a great stay. Check in was fast and easy. Great friendly people working. Very nice place to stay.

Laundry machines don't work felt unwelcome,. people gruff and abrupt . Packed in like sardines. Felt like a state park that someone slapped a koa sign on

Clerk was friendly, that's the only good thing. Narrow entrance forced us to wait on highway to return to camp. Laundry filthy and half the machines didn't work. Roadways narrow and twisty for big rigs. Wifi lacking bandwidth. Some permanent trailers mixed in.

This campground is unreasonably tight. Very tight roads. Low wires. Most RVs will rub the overhead wires when exiting. We did. We made our reservation 5 months prior to arriving. Needed a 50 Amp site. Upon arrival, I was told that we will not get a 50 Amp site because I made the reservation online. Really!!! We ended up with 30 Amp and water but no sewage. Paid the same rate as our friends.

Camp is in need of some care and attention to details. We stayed 3 days, for all three days the trash can at the dog run was overflowing with bags of pet waste. The dog walk can only be reached by climbing an embankment. Walking throughout the campground, trash lays on the ground day after day. Camp staff was never seen checking out sites for patrolling the campground.

Beautiful campground. The cottage that we stayed in was cozy and clean down to the last detail. The owners there are great. Christine and Joe have obviously put a lot into the place and it shows. You will not be disappointed.

We have stayed in many KOA parks as went traveled from west coast to east on this journey. This was our lowest rating, as it was not a ideal layout and setting setting, nor was it as service oriented as much as other KOAs stayed at. We were there 4 days, and the bucket to place dog poo in was full when we got there, and never emptied. Lack of care.

Had a great stay at Halifax KOA. Encountered an issue with our trailer while travelling en route to the park where an important component broke on us. When we asked worker Dwayne where to take our trailer for repair, he went above and beyond and repaired it for us. Also great location. 10/10, Five stars.

Overall, the campground was adequate. Sites were a little small, bathrooms were clean, location was a little remote, staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Stayed for 9 nights. Sites are spacious and well maintained. Didn’t really use any of the facilities so unable to rate amenities. Easy access to the Bedford bypass.

The amenities are great. I would have liked more privacy in the sites in the serviced area. It is wide open and the site pictures seemed to suggest trees between sites but that definitely isn’t the case. I’d also suggest the septic system be treated as the sites and showers had a strong sewage smell. Check in was easy, the store seems well stocked. The showers and washrooms were clean and gene

Well maintained campground. Campsites are fairly packed in but understandable given convenient access to Halifax. It had good clean showers and washrooms. A couple of washers/dryers were out of order, causing only minor delays. We would certainly stay again on a visit to Halifax due to it being close to the city.

Campsite size (F8) was narrower/smaller than the others in NS, so parking backup was difficult.

Everything was great except for the showers. We were there 2 nights, and both mornings, there was clothing on the floor, a box from someone who dried there hair, there was a lump of hair in the bottom of the shower it self. Tags from new clothing. Knowing that all this was there the first day, it means that the shower was not washed at least 2 days, if not more.

The sewer entry was too high for our trailer, so we can’t use it but paid for it.

It was a short stay this time, only 2 nights but we have been coming to this KOA for many years. We always enjoy ourselves to the fullest, and this time was no exception. It was my wife's birthday and Joe did everything he could to ensure she had a lovely time, and she did! Thanks Joe! We will definitely see you again!

Very small campground and very dated. Ideal for people tenting. But I’m sorry to say the sites available for motor homes or 5th wheels only leave a few feet between. Absolutely no privacy. When the lot was full campers had to move vehicles to let each other out. Garbage area was left locked for some reason. Overflowing with waste also was noted.

C'est un camping bien situé pas en ville, on entend un peu l'autoroute, mais c'est acceptable. Il y a une belle piscine, creusée, chauffée et bien entretenue.
