Really enjoy the area and the check in was friendly and easy. It’s unfortunate that they do not follow their published rules concerning pets being leashed!! We complained twice!! Not once but twice!! Nothing was done and the two dogs were allowed to run free!! My wife did not feel comfortable going out unless I was to accompany her!! I was in spot 38 and the trailer with two vehicles was the gui

Loved the Burros and other animals as did our Bulldog. Great pull in site. Very green and lush, nice big trees.

We enjoyed our time at Gunnison quite, very well kept campground. We would definitely stay there again and we loved the animals that were there too.

Dave and Suzy were amazing. Our site was back in but huge space so easy to maneuver. Entire campground well maintained. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

We had brake troubles and the host found us a mechanic who fixed it quickly! They have the cutest animals. So friendly. Nice space. Clean bathhouse. If I could give them more than a 10 I would.

The park is very clean and well taken care of. We chose a double wide pull thru site and enjoyed the spaciousness with nice green grass! It's located close to North Black Canyon NP and several great hiking trails. Highly recommend.

Our site number was X. Totally on nice green grass that was pretty level. This KOA was very clean, and the staff was more than helpful.

This is a great park! Donkey and goats are free to roam the property and enjoy being petted. The park is 10 minutes from downtown Gunnison. There are many trails and fishing nearby. Wide spaces, a pavilion, green grass and nice facilities make this a great place to stay.

Our favorite! Large sites with green grass and huge trees. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. Surprisingly, a quiet campground. We found Hartman Rock this trip and enjoyed Star gazing free from city lights. Definitely returning to the Gunnison KOA.

Spent 2 night. Clean site. WiFi was good. Please get the donkeys hooves trimmed so they can walk better. Keep the goats pinned up.

Our stay was just perfect. People are friendly and animals and activities gave things for the grandkids to do all weekend including their first time fishing. Would recommend this KOA to anyone who wants a relaxing and enjoyable time

It was a great time staying at the Gunnison KOA. Staff always friendly and helpful. The Campground is very clean and well kept. Just an all a round awesome camping experience. See you all next year!

Love the camping grounds! Dave and all his helpers keep it neat, clean and mowed. Great place to park your RV, set up tents or stay in a cabin.

Tent camped here on 6/21/2025 & 6/22/2025. The restroom & shower facilities were very clean. The owners were extremely nice people. They also gave us details on places to eat dinner (5 B's BBQ & Ol' Miner Steakhouse). The animals roaming around are so cool. The owner does his best to clean up after them and he is always willingly to stop and talk.
