It was nice. The sites were big and green which was nice. Loved the donkeys. But disappointed no goats were made a side trip to come here because of the farm animals.

We always enjoy our stay in Gunnison. The campground is so peaceful and quiet and it is very well maintained. Staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. It is always on our list for a stop on our way through CO.

We’d gladly come back again. The kids had Donkeys to play with. We had everything we needed for our modest little teardrop camper. Great town too!

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we had so much fun. The campgrounds were so nice and well maintained. The grass was beautiful. It was so safe. Will be back!

This is a very nice campground with wonderful campsites. The Gunnison area is quiet and the air is refreshing. The 3 days we stayed, bicycle races were going on around Gunnison, including a 20 minute race for young children. What fun

This was the nicest KOA we have stayed at, with attractive grassy and shaded sites, well away from a noisy highway or city downtown. The bathhouse was new and spotless.

Facilities nice, even a little heater in the bathroom for showers so it isn't as cold. We had an issue with our trailer coming in, so we called the phone number being after hours and they were so polite and able to switch us to a pull through with no questions asked. The grass is a HUGE plus as well, wish we could've stayed more than one night. Will stay again.

I initially made a reservation for electric/water for 54.00 per night. My husband added sewer option in August but didn’t realize the price jumped 30 per night with absolutely nothing special about that site over others. The playground is okay but warning do not let your children use it. The farm animals climb all over it and so there is manure. We have 2 dogs under 30 and we clean up after ours

We had a great stay at the Gunnison KOA. We stayed in a little A-frame but it was perfect for what we needed. We used the public bathrooms since our place didn’t have any, and the bathrooms were very clean which is amazing! This area is beautiful, people are friendly, and there were even farm animals on site!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The mens' bathhouse was well maintained. I like the concept of the A-frame cabin. It was a step up from my tent trailer during rainy days. A few more hooks in there would have been helpful. My biggest complaint was the muddy drive leading to the cabins. An improved walkway to the bathhouse would be nice.

Very quiet park. Loved the donkeys, goats and horses in the park. Bathrooms were clean and everything worked. A great place to stay while exploring the area.

Very nice park, quiet, spacious sites, priced fairly and still close to Gunnison. Staff was friendly and helpful at check in. Would stay here again if coming through this part of Colorado. As an added note, the wifi was excellent.

This place feels like home. Dave, Susie, Diane, Sue and Sarah are the best staff ever. We love the large grass campsites, many repeat campers, and all the animals. This is the best place to camp anywhere in the Gunnison Valley area. We camp here multiple times every year. You won't find a better campground.

The staff were friendly and helpful with any of our needs. The grounds were well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean and well kept. It is easy to get to and can move around to other areas pretty easily. I highly recommend this KOA campground. Tim Daly

Loved the goats and ponies. My sister named the calf Bessie. We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect for my sister, me and my collie dog. Beautifully situated under trees.

Nicely groomed, enjoyed the goats lounging around the CG. Grassy areas, treed areas, off-leash dod area was shaded. John was very helpful with an issue I had with my steps, Thank You John!! After a great experience, I joined KOA.

Tent camped here on 6/21/2025 & 6/22/2025. The restroom & shower facilities were very clean. The owners were extremely nice people. They also gave us details on places to eat dinner (5 B's BBQ & Ol' Miner Steakhouse). The animals roaming around are so cool. The owner does his best to clean up after them and he is always willingly to stop and talk.
