Service was friendly and the grounds well kept. However the men’s bathroom was not cleaned the entire weekend and that was a big disappointment. We’re used to very clean bathrooms at this property so we aren’t sure what the problem was.

I stay here every year for the Gunnison Growler. I always look forward to that weekend and always have a great stay. Bonus points for the goats and donkeys!

The A frame cabin was perfect for my 16 lb hiking partner and me. We really appreciated the heater. Very nice heated bathroom with wonderful hot showers after hiking. Close to Gunnison Whitewater Park and city trail. The burritos are very cute.

Always a great time! This was our fourth stay (we visit every fall). Every time has been wonderful and we will be back again.

We rented the Kottage for 2 nights. The Kottage has a small kitchen, which is fine the the little cooking that we did. The campgrounds are very clean and we love the animals that roam the grounds.

It was a brief stay, but loved this KOA! the goats and miniature donkeys made this stay so fun, everything was clean and quiet considering how many people were here. We'll be back!

We had a great time! The farm animals were cute. The cabin and bathrooms were clean. Great location close to town and outdoor adventures.

We rented the Kottage for 2 nights. We had planned to use the sofa bed in the living room, but it was broken. Fortunately, we had brought an Aerobed with us, so we used it instead. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and the animals wondering the grounds are fun to see.

We were fortunate to get a basic cabin with no reservation and a rate lower than some KOAs we have visited. We very much appreciated the camp kitchen to cook meals and wash dishes, and also took advantage of the laundry. Will plan to stay again in future years. Only downside is noise from adjacent airport.

Quiet well-maintained campground. Friendly staff stayed in A-frame camp cabins. These are fine except grounds around them need some type of ground cover. Very dusty when dry and muddy when wet. Hard to keep anything clean.

My two kids, dog and I stayed at this KOA in a cabin. I saw that the campground had a petting zoo but thought the animals would be enclosed. During our evening dinner the "petting zoo" goats and donkeys were set free to roam. There is animal droppings everywhere and even though you have to leash your pet the camp animals can go anywhere unattended. Terrible experience. Disappointed in KOA.

The staff were all super friendly! Loved the pretty green grass, and the fun to watch animals! The cabin and the restrooms were super clean!! Very impressive!

Still a very nice campgroud. We've stayed there many times over the years. Only one issue still to note: the bathrooms need updating - small, low toilets, generally uncomfortable. This time we had an issue with one camper who wanted to occupy more space than alloted, wanted to incroach on our space.

Small tiny cabin and a long way from showers and bathrooms with no easy access and expense. Grounds at tiny cabins in poor condition. Not worth the money

I plan to reach out to KoA on Monday. Gunnison Koa was absolutely disgusting n I used to stay there years ago, n was actually my daughters favorite, now it’s run down n having it a KOA is bad for your franchise. I took pictures for proof.

Cabin#1VIPW/KOA.Sue & the hired staff are great! The Wi-Fi works great, free roaming donkeys&goats. Why did I give it two stars? CRAMPED, NOISY & loud screaming kids:-( It borders airport so don’t expect any peace and quiet during the day&It borders a traveled road. NOT1 COMPLETE NITE SLEEP. RV,TENT&CABINS ARE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER!! No privacy or relaxing here.No urinal,only2 toilets.NEVER AGAI

Stayed in the only cabin left for our particular night .... clean, comfy, quiet and very convenient to town and mountain activities. Staff very friendly and helpful ... especially the young college receptionist !

The campground is small and quiet. The animals were a huge hit for our kids. One thing I would recommend to anyone coming here, bring a ton of bug spray. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

We stayed in one of the tiny cabins, which was fine. Unfortunately the restroom facilities were a long walk when you need to really go to the bathrooma and only two of the three stalls were abke to be used. There was a dog who was not leashed run at our little dog. Luckily we were able to get our dog off the ground before he was attacked. Not sure if we would return to this KOA.

Clean enough once you got past the entrance, but looked a tad junky upon entering. Folks are super friendly though and the facilities are very clean which is a big deal to me.

Tent camped here on 6/21/2025 & 6/22/2025. The restroom & shower facilities were very clean. The owners were extremely nice people. They also gave us details on places to eat dinner (5 B's BBQ & Ol' Miner Steakhouse). The animals roaming around are so cool. The owner does his best to clean up after them and he is always willingly to stop and talk.
