General Campground Information

Cancellation Policy

We follow the KOA national policy. 48 hour notice on RV  sites. 7 day notice on Deluxe Cabins. Holiday and special weekends will be a 7 day notice for ALL SITES.You must call the office at 864-834-8150 to cancel a reservation. You must speak to someone. DO NOT EMAIL or TEXT the cancellation. If you cancel within the 48 hours notice you may be subject to the entire reservation amount due. If you NO SHOW the reservation you will be charged the entire reservation amount due. COMMUNICATION IS KEY.

Pet Policy

No aggressive dog of any breed is allowed. Excessive barking is not allowed and you will be asked to leave.  There is a 3 dog max for RV sites.
There is a 2 dog max in cabins and dogs must be approved.  There is a pet fee of $50 per dog for the cabins. If pets are left in cabins, they must be crated and non-disruptive. You will be held responsible for any damage. Only dogs are allowed in cabins, and no cats, birds, etc.  All dogs are to be kept on a 6 ft leash or tether and picked up after.  You have to be with the dog at all times. If you use a pet fence it has to be kept on concrete or gravel at all times.

Store Hours

Our Store is open Monday-Sunday 9 am - 5 pm

Reservation Policy

A deposit for your first night will be charged to your credit card when you make your reservation. Special restrictions apply for extended reservations, call for details. You'll receive a confirmation email once you've completed your reservation. Must be 21 to make reservation. Someone 21 or older must occupy site.

Check In/ Check Out

RV site check in time is 2:00 pm.
RV site check out time is 11:00 am.
Deluxe Cabin check in time is 3:00 pm.
Deluxe Cabin check out time is 11:00 am.
You are welcome to call before you arrive to see if an early check in is available.  If available we will allow an early check in for a donation to Care Camps.  No early check ins are allowed on Sundays.

Pool Hours/Rules

The Pool is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Pool opens Memorial Day Weekend and closes Labor Day weekend. Rules are posted at pool.

Golf Cart Policy

The following requirements must be met and Agreement must be signed:
1.Golf Cart use is permitted for physical impairment only
2.Proof of golf cart insurance must be supplied
3.Licensed drivers 21 or older may operate the golf cart
4.Golf carts must be equipped with headlights/taillights to be driven after dark
5.No impaired (Alcohol/Drugs) operation of golf carts
6.Remove key from golf cart when not in use
7.Only number of passengers per manufactures recommendation and passengers must remain seated when golf cart is motion.
8. Must follow 5 MPH speed limit

Electric/Gas Motorized Riding Devices

Absolutely no riding of any type of electric/gas motorized riding device. This includes but not limited to: scooters,hover boards, power wheels etc. See Golf Cart policy for Golf Carts.

Smoking in Cabins

NO SMOKING is allowed in cabins. Evidence of smoking in cabins will result in a $250.00 fee charged to credit card on file.

Visitor Policy

You are responsible for any visitors.  All visitors are required to register at the office when entering the campground.  If you have visitors arriving after the office is closed it is your responsibility to communicate that with KOA staff.  There is a fee for any visitor or visitors staying over 1 hour.  All visitors must leave by 10:00 pm.  There is a max of 6 people on site including visitors.

Pets in Cabins

We have 2 pet-friendly cabins. THERE IS A PET FEE. Call for details and breed restrictions. Max of 2 pets at owners discretion. We ask that pets be kept off furniture. If damage is done, there will be a damage fee. This amount will be determined by owner. You will be held responsible for any damage. Pets are to be crated and non disruptive while left alone. Only dogs allowed in cabins, no cats, birds, etc.. All dogs are to be kept on 6 ft leash or tether and picked up after.

Drone Policy

Absolutely no drones in the campground.

Registration

All campers, visitors, guest must register at the office. Registered camper assumes all responsibility of their visitors and guests. Violations will be grounds for immediate removal from the property. MAXIMUM: 2 vehicles if room, 6 people and 3 pets per site.

Campfires

Campfires must be contained within the fire ring at all times. NO BONFIRES. Fire Rings may not be moved. Fires must be attended at all times. Fires must be extinguished completely before departing. NO OUT OF STATE FIREWOOD IS ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN. Kiln dried firewood is for sale in the office/store.

Quiet Hours

10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M.  Please do not make us be the hall monitors.  If you choose to be outside after 10:00 P.M. it is your responsibility to make sure you cant be heard by your neighbors. Zero Tolerance, failure to comply will result in removal from the premises.

Children/Minors

We love children so much that we have 5 of our own.  Minors must be supervised at all times.  Our playground is for children 12 and under.

Speed Limit

Speed limit is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced.  We have Zero Tolerance for speeds above 5 MPH and non compliance will be grounds for immediate removal.  Our 5 MPH speed limit is for safety and dust control,  especially during the drier months.  The dust trail makes it obvious who is speeding.  It is scientifically proven that less than 5 MPH will not leave a dust trail.

Nature trail

Stay on Trail. Off trail is private property.  No bikes or scooters on trail. Hike at your own risk.

FIREWORKS

NO FIREWORKS. Including sparklers.

From franchises to corporate, Bill, with his construction background, and Terri, with her accounting/human resources background, seem to be a perfect fit. We have been to campgrounds from coast to coast, meeting great people along the way, and hopefully, we will be seeing you soon.
