Herb was fantastic at check in but the sites are expensive for a basic KOA

The campground is good and is convenient for our purposes but very expensive for a journey KOA. Our site was not anywhere close to level and it cost 100$/night. The freeway noise did not bother us. The staff were very polite. The grounds were well kept.

Convenient location. Sites are not too close. Noise from road is expected since it is a KOA Journey. We always travel with a sound machine so no problem there. We only had one complaint-when mowing the sites, don't blow the grass onto occupants carpets and just leave it. Bad form.

This KOA is quiet, peaceful & beautiful. It is located conveniently to the things around Greensboro we were interested in doing. Staff were extremely helpful & polite.

Highway noise too loud! Will never go back. Need to put a wall up! Plus the sites are not level. Put a wall up or some trees, but don’t think you can stop the highway noise!

Herb, at check in, was great. The park is nice with trees and grass. Highway noise was minimal to none in our motorhome.

Easy setup pull through sites & nice couple that run the place! They handed us a “welcome bag” which was very nice � Also easy access to restaurants, grocery shopping & laundromat. It is close to the freeway but the noise never bothered us!

We stayed overnight one night in our way home. The man running the store was very pleasant. I tried to use the restroom but the code I was given did not work. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Although extremely loud, extremely convenient off 85. Unlevel sites, rundown buildings. Could be wonderful with it's lovely grounds. Staff is spectacular, friendly, hardworking and helpful. Way overpriced, not at all worth $80+ and $90+ a night. Our site was so narrow the neighbors sewer cleanout was at our picnic table. Couldn't use awnings would have hit neighbor. Thankfully only 2 nite stay!

We stayed for 2 weeks in April. The location is close to the places we wanted to visit in Guilford County. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were busy getting the park ready for the new season; opening the pool, sprucing up the landscaping and painting. The laundry and shower facilities are clean. Firepits are available for the asking. Easy access from highway. Will be back

Great location and campground for most units. New employees are great. Travato's and camper vans in general need to be prepared for sites that aren't as level as we would like.

Defective power box with loose wires, power flicked on and off, will cause arcing and fires, manager lied that it had “just been fixed,” didn’t care. Neighbor had same thing. Lukewarm water in shower, ceiling panels missing, no lights over showers.

Greensboro KOA Journey is a great place to stay for a night while traveling. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The closeness to I-85 makes it a easy off/on while traveling. I would recommend that the KOA Management petition NCDOT to install sound barrier walls along the Interstate to reduce the traffic noise that the guest are experiencing.

We always count on a KOA for a safe, clean place to stay But Greensboro has to have been the "Friendliest, well kept one so far, with a nice dog run, and one of the most stocked camp stores Ive seen yet !

The sweet staff members that greeted us were so helpful and friendly. When we rolled up nervously in our brand new Airstream, they were so kind and genuinely happy for us and told us about their experiences with their Airstream. They explained the rules of the campground thoroughly and the set up of KOA since this was our first time at one. The campground was very clean and conveniently located.

We were only there for 2 nights to attend a concert at the coliseum. It was close to the coliseum which is why we chose it. The spacing between camp sites was much better than many KOAs we have stayed in. It was clean. There were several areas where we could walk our dogs which is important to us. The staff was fantastic, especially the gentleman who checked us in. He alone deserves 5 stars!

This is the friendliest campground we ever visited and we have been to many. It is a journey so it was close to the highway but we slept well and had no trouble hearing our television as we watched UConn beat San Diego.

Enjoyed our stay for the weekend. Bathrooms needs some work, but they are working on new building. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Loved being greeted by friendly people! Escorted to spot. Grounds are well maintained. Conviently near interstate for easy on and easy off. Sounds did not bother us.

We had such a warm welcome from Herb and the ladies. We got a welcome goodie bag for us and treats for our "kids". That has never happened at any other KOA campground we've stayed at. Thank you. Sharon and Tom Bolles

I stayed here for 5 months for work and had a great experience! Wendy and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Laundry facilities are very clean and well kept. The staff is always working on a different project to upgrade the campground which is very nice to see. They have a wonderful dog park with two separate fenced in areas which has a been incredible for me as I have two large dogs. They also have some nice trails through the woods for walks. The campground is located very conveniently by highway 40 which makes for easy access to get to and from work. Thank you to the staff at Greensboro KOA for making my stay enjoyable and allowing me to call this place home for a few months!

Dog park is awesome, water pressure in showers are awesome, Reading the reviews and the owners responses was priceless... stayed for one night and had a great experience, would definitely come again.
