Just overnight.

Quick overnight stop. Great place to camp for 1 night on the way to our destination. We got in late, but the office had a nice check in packet for us waiting.

Nice quiet campground. Well-maintained and good location. Sites are clean and sized well. Good place to stop for an overnight or better yet, a few days to explore the area. Lots of nature and history to explore. Nearby Enfield has Marina’s Italian restaurant (good eats), and it’s definitely worth a stop at Aunt Ruby’s Nut store!

There were so many bugs, we couldn't even be outside when it started getting dark. Also, our neighbor that was staying next to us had their camper robbed.

Sites are to narrow. It feels like your on top of your neighbors.

We had an overnight stay. The grass needed cutting, there was a dead frog floating in the pool and weeds growing in the cracks of the pool deck.

Staff was extremely friendly and informative. The sites are very tight and could use some work. They are adding sites but they could use more gravel in the existing ones. Restrooms very clean and pool looked nice.

We have stayed at this KOA several times over the past 6 years. The location is great and the staff has always been friendly. This time, however, the campground is in need of care. The grass was ankle tall and the campground is looking a bit run-down.

The sites in the back part of the park were unkempt..grass was high and needed mowing. We stayed there twice, a week apart and it was high the first time and still high a week later when we returned. They were mowing the front part the second time we were there.

Love this campground.

I’m not saying anything bad about the campground. I’m just saying for me. It was a little out-of-the-way and not much around there as far as places to eat. The restrooms were very clean and they were air-conditioned. It was a lot of puddles, but that’s to be expected after hurricane/tropical storm.

This campground was very convenient for a quick overnight stop along Rte 95. There wasn't much positive to say about the campground. Most of the grass throughout the campground hadn't been cut in a long time with some of it over a foot tall. The grass that had been recently cut in our campsite was still pretty long, but there were grass clippings all over the picnic table and got everywhere.

Very quiet little park. Employees are super nice. Would stay there again with no issue. Thanks for making my Stay Awesome!

This is our 3rd time staying here just for the night to break the drive south up. Easy in and out close to 95 and the people are super friendly. Sites are always clean and level for the most part. A great plus for when we arrive late not a ton of setup required before heading to bed. Thanks for such a great place and the wonderful hospitality

Easy check-in, helpful office staff. I did not use any campground facilities. I would have liked to try the dog play area but the grass there and throughout the rest of the campground was too long. My only suggestion is to mow more often.

Nobody at check in sites not mowed and pool not open. Would let my dogs stay there! Awful. And no phone to call that was answered when we got there

Nice, developing campground. Clean, quiet- all those things you need in an overnight. Store was nice.

This KOA is in desperate need of repair. Grass not cut, weeds everywhere, a lot of full time old rv trailers. Will not ever stay and will definitely not recommend.

Fantastic for a overnight stay when traveling I95

The park’s positive attribute was that it is an easy on and off from the Highway. The park has tight sites and is in need of maintenance. Our neighbors had two large Dobermans and every time they were let outside they just barked. We were just an overnight stay, but we were not too impressed.

Pool being closed was a big disappointment especially since the campground is small and we like to move after a day on the road.

I'd say more Pro's than Con's at this Rustic KOA campground. Extremely easy on-off route 95 highway. Just 1 mile back off highway, but, you hardly hear the highway which is great. It feels very country out here nestled between swap and cotton fields. Easy check in at office with quiet but friendly guy. The property is sandy roads and huge mature pine trees. Grass was all mowed recently and there are some interesting wild flowers and cool mushrooms growing here and there. Tent camping sites were large and in nice grassy area with covered picnic tables and fire pit. They offer propane tank fills and have a dump station right beside this. The general store is quite empty, but we didn't need any supplies, so that was no problem for us. Their guest map is very nice and well designed. It surprised us that the swimming pool was still very clean and in warmer months would be very nice to relax in. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, however they are rustic, but I have no complaints about that. The signs for the 24 laundry room are not very prominent, it's hidden around back under a staircase and beside the ice cooler. We totally missed this the first day and took our laundry into Rocky Mount downtown (which I highly recommend against! We did not feel safe at all at the 252 LaundryMat, it's in a sketchy part of town!) we would have loved to spend our money here at the campground instead. My small suggestion is: attach a sign onto the rear staircase with arrow pointing to 24 hour laundry door for guests to easy see. We saw another camper walk with laundry basket and followed her to find the 24 laundry. There is a sign on the door, but like I said when walking around the front and both sides of the building, we just didn't even notice this door tucked under the back staircase. After finding the laundry, I did check it out and am adding images here for future guests to see. Laundry was very clean and affordable. Again, wish we would have found this and spent our money here to help the campground owner. RV sites are almost all nice long pull through. Only negative is the placement of the sewer connections. The only way to hook up, places your RV steps walking right out to next RV sewer less than 3 feet in front of your RV door. This also places your picnic table real close to neighbors sewer hook up. NOTE: the campers directly in front of us when setting up and noticed this, shockingly looked at us sitting at picnic table on our site & said, “we will just use our holding tank next 2 days while ya'll here so that's not interfering with your sitting out here.” Super nice folks from Louisiana! The dog park at this KOA is excellent! They have mowed grass, covered bench to sit at while your dog plays and dog waste station with bags and trash bin. Shocker was all the very nice dog toys they provided in a milk crate inside the dog park to borrow. Our dog loves borrowing others used toys way more than any new ones we buy for him for some reason, so he was in his zoomies glory here! The cotton fields were so beautiful and cotton ready to be harvested. It surprised us that the bugs were not bad at all here. We didn't have to use any bug spray at all. The only real negative I'd say is the lack of free usage of WiFi. The map you get at check in says: 8 hours of free WiFi included. But what they do not say is: this Clock of 8 running nonstop hours starts when you connect and runs only the next 8 consecutive hours, then that's it, you are cut off. This could be frustrating for lots of unsuspecting campers. We however travel with our own Starlink connection, and just swap to that. They do offer 2 small cabins for rent and we did see some ladies renting one during our visit. There is a nice playground and we loved that it had the old school equipment we remember from being kids in the 1980's! All the playground equipment was fresh painted and in good shape. That's my full and honest opinion of camping here.
