Super nice KOA Look forward to staying longer in the future!

Reserved online basic cabin that “allows pets”. Paid rate upfront (one night). At check in was advised there would be a $25 pet fee due plus a “refundable $20 deposit”. We were charged $45 in addition to nightly cabin rate. At checkout, advised desk clerk that no damage occurred from our dog. Waited 2 billing cycles for $20 deposit return, e-mailed an inquiry with no response back to

We have stayed here before. the couple at the front desk are so nice and helpful with information on what to see and do. The cabins are quiet and clean. They have done a good job of making the campground like a little oasis in the desert.

Hundred percent the nicest, best-maintained KOA park we've ever been to. We got a fully-furnished cabin, so it came complete with a bathroom and kitchenette. The cabin was clean and delightfully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the environment so peaceful. Even the common-use restroom is spotlessly-clean and smells reassuringly of disinfectant.

We stayed in site 104. The end spots, maybe 5 of them, are short term. Many times people tried to turn left and go behind us like it was a drive way but it’s not! Clearly marking that row to stop people from turning there then using a camp site to drive through would be a fantastic improvement! Thanks for a great stay!!

The conastoga was cool to sleep in. Heater worked well. My boys loved it. But only 2 chairs when it sleeps 4. Even when asked they couldn't provide any extras. So we had to eat on the bed. And no coat hangers. The end of the bunk bed would of been great for hangers. And a fly swatter, our tent had massive amount of them.

It is always a pleasure to stay at KOA Ely. The staff was courteous and responsive during our stay. Wonderful early Autumn weather, and the trout fishing in surrounding area waters are spot on. We look forward in visiting again in the future.

Loved the location just outside of town, and LOVED staying in the Conestoga Wagon. It was spacious and very comfortable. The KOA offered all the amenities, was clean, quiet, and very nice. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to other travelers. KOA never disappoints.

We stayed in one of the cabins with a bathroom and exceptioanally clean. The first place out of 1500 miles that we did not feel uncomforfortable in touching anything. The dog area by the main building clean and provided ample room for Mandy to run around in with the ability to play with others. Night sky in between the clouds also awesome! Staff friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Campground was very well kept, staff was friendly, it was very quiet and the bathrooms were the cleanest my wife and I have ever used at a KOA! Top that with stunning Mountain View’s and a scenic drive to Great Basin National Park, Cave Lake State Park and the Ward coal ovens! Almost forgot, no traffic and no crowds!

We came out to camp for our eleventh year wedding anniversary and to fish at Cave Lake. The staff was very pleasant. We will be back sometime next year.

Our stay was great! Cabin was very comfortable and was a perfect fit for our family. Kitchen was well stocked and enjoyed the grill. Kids loved the playground. Will stay again! Only knocked off a star because our cabin had a bit of an odor.

Great campground run by super friendly folks. The bathroom/showers are fantastic and immaculate. Well kept campground - very clean and tidy. These owners get it! So glad we were able to stay 3 days here and enjoy not only Great Basin National Park but the local Northern Nevada RR Museum - great museum!! We would not hesitate to stay again!

Stayed in a Cabin-very nice. We normally stay at KOA's but bring our camper. This was a quick trip & pulling it wasn't feasible. Didn't use any other facilities & only stayed to sleep. I was very disappointed you didn't honor the 1 night free on 9/5 that was offered when we renewed our membership. It didn't stipulate a cabin wasn't allowed. Cost of RV/tent site offset would've been appreciated

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Koa Ely. We specifically stayed there because they had the covered wagons. Wow. It was so beautiful inside and so much fun. Beds with clean linen and quilts! The wagon had AC and heat. Super clean and spacious. We used the bathroom which was 10 steps outside our wagon. By the way, the bathroom was cleaner than ours at home (just saying)!

Our stay was great. Staff was super friendly, the cabin we stayed in was very clean and well equipped. The only thing missing was a pool. Excellent location for exploring Great Basin NP.

The campground is full of weeds and unessary barrels of rocks at the campsights. In prior years when have stayed, it was clean and well kept. The floors and windows in our cabin weren’t clean. The stovetop had some kind of gunk on it. There were no sheets for the bunk beds. Staff was friendly. Overpriced all and all

I was so surprised how nice the cabin was that we stayed in. It was clean and contemporary and met all of our needs. The playground was great for our kids to play on and while we were a little far out from our intended destination of Great Basin, we actually didn’t mind the hour drive out there. The little shop on site had a lot of helpful supplies that we forgot (like roasting sticks!)!

Loved the covered wagon! It was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. There were places to set bags and cooler. The decor was friendly and homey, and the table was nice for working and eating. I liked having a lockable door at night. What a fun experience! The camp showers were very clean, and the grounds had lots to do. What a great KOA, one of the very best!

Beautiful place, well maintained and super friendly and efficient staff. Over the years, we have used tents, RV and now one of the cabins available. The cabin was very well furnished, good mattress, and a fully functional kitchen as well. In summary, we can wholeheartedly recommend Ely KOA. More so, there is lot’s to do in Ely. Fishing, Railroad Museum & Rides, ATVs and fishing. HHM, Nevada

My family and I recently stayed at your campground and had a great experience. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and the hours are convenient. I did want to mention a couple of small issues in our cabin: the ceiling fan blades and bathroom vent fan had a noticeable layer of dust, and the bathtub drained very slowly during showers. I hope this helps and we did enjoy our stay!

The cabins and tent sites were way too close together. We could hear people talking in the next cabin and had tent sites right off our porch. We had to walk theough a person's tent site to even get to our cabin. This was by far the worst KOA we've stayed at.

If happen to be passing through Ely NV on your camping trip, you should park at the Ely KOA Journey. It is a very nice, pretty park with shade trees and super clean restrooms and showers. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful too. The store is well stocked and has morning coffee for just $2 as well. We will definitely stop here again on our return trip.

We are tent campers. Great stop for us after 6 nights at Great Basin Nat'l Park. We loved the communal cooking and washing station. Clean bathrooms, hot showers.
